Jared Bahn: Don't waste your time! My girlfriend brought her boots in because the soles were coming off. He told us they should be ready in a week or two. That was in early September. We didn't hear anything in November so we stopped in. He said again a week or two. She called today(Dec 27th) he said he's been very busy and he will get them done today. He closes at 2. It's 4:15 now. No phone call. I've never written a review before. Very unprofessional. Stay away.

Molly: Did work on a purse that I didn't ask for to jack up the price. Awful business practices. He needs to be reported to Better Business Bureau.
Paula Logan: Do not take your luggage here for repair. I needed a new 360 wheel but a regular wheel was used for a replacement and it does not function properly. I took it back and showed him it would not move straight or smoothly now and asked for a refund or the correct wheel replacement. He refused so now I’m out over $50 and a suitcase that won’t roll! Btw it was raining when I picked it up so didn’t know it wouldn’t work until I got home.

The business has relocated to the location next door inside the Uniforms store.In my option, only fair quality on my shoe repair which took a few weeks to complete. At the time, he only accepted cash.I take my shoes elsewhere to be repaired now.

Valorie Gray: I wish I could give more than 5 starts because I am beyond impressed with Alex's. My Rooney and Burke strap broke and the D&B repair plan is a joke. Everyone said to find a local shoe repair store. I walked in, showed my damaged bag and was assured it was a simple fix. Brady Cromwell: Alex is the man! I know some people are offended by the way he speaks to them but I love it. No sugar coating. He says what most people think but don't say out loud. Kind of like Larry David in an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. If you take the time to talk to him he is an incredible guy and it's people like him that remind me of why this country is so awesome.Aside from all that, he does fantastic work. I've had several shoes repaired there and he even fixed my vaccuum. if you have anything that needs to be repaired, does not matter what it is, Alex can fix it.

I wanted to verify the repair total and in an aggravated voice he said "Why you ask me this question". Again when I picked up my shoes he was rude! Hey...Excuse me Buddy?? This is America where as a small business owner we value the customer. You might want to learn that quickly before you don't have any!
Keyan Holt: i took in my boots and all i asked for was new soles and for him to restitch a part that had ripped out. when i got them back the soles were fine but instead of restitching them me had mangled my boot by using a sewing machine. he put about a thousand holes and 500 stitches in them none of which were necessary sense the holes had already been made by the original stitching. he also used black string on brown boots. i did a better job when i put in temporary stitches! its like he had never worked on a western style boot and he was drunk or something. DO NOT trust this guy with your boots.

Curtis Grimes: After having a pair of boots for 3 months and 3 phone calls telling me they were "next on the bench" I finally just took my boots elsewhere. I went to pick them up and he hadn't touched them, even then telling me they were "next in line".I was referred here by several people, but ended up disappointed.

Chris, the gentlemen who assisted me this morning was extremely helpful and told me exactly what he was going to do to the shoes, he also informed me that in the last two years, 15 of his competitors have gone out of business, bringing him a whole bunch of work, he is a one man show, so show him a little bit of compassion for the work and the service he provides, he will treat you with the same respect that you give to him! Specialty Services like shoe repairs are hard to come by, so just hoping that the people scrolling reviews like I too did before going in, give him a try!
Quinn Hullopeter: Had my mountaineering boots resold and the rubber rand "replaced". The replacement Rand is already peeling off and so is the outsole. Never seen an outsole peel off. Overpriced and not worth he work.
