lauren henry: How do i say this "one of the worst companies i've ever worked for complete sham of a job cut commission constantly forced you into switching seniors plans that may have not been beneficial to them long hours no work life balance all to satisfy the company. only positive was licensing. dosent want you to relocate and are not sympathetic towards employees with health conditions. i have an autoimmune disease where it may require me to miss work if sick do they care "NO" you're apparently not helping the company. Sad situation, a bunch of incompetent people in higher ups that dont know up from down or about the product they're selling. my advice if offered the position turn it down they lie about salary and hours constantly change im not doing more work than my scheduled shift mark my words theyll be out of business in the next 2 years at the most

Miesha Houston: Do not I say this loud and clear do not work for this company they are unfair cause mental stress pressure you everyday to switch old people’s plans. The last 7 months of my life have been torture at this company I have delt with depression and much worse trying to meet expectations and make a living only to cause me mental health damage with little to no pay and fired me for being in hospital and having 2 deaths back to back. Do not trust this company they tell all lie to get you in only to mistreat and use you for financial gain while you make nothing worse company ever! I hate I put myself through all this even neglected my marriage trying to meet company last minute expectations.

Mylisha Hurt: Do NOT work here. I was hired on and told we weren't cold calling and yet that's all the job is. You get pressured/ instructed to work longer hours than expected. Also the job was mentally exhausting and I cried my first day on the phones when I realized it was my job to upsell insurance to vulnerable seniors. I thought I would be helping people who had questions about insurance but instead I was harassing people and doing whatever I could to make a sale..

Ranell Punis: Absolutely unprofessional, do not waste your time nor energy within this mentally fatiguing draining job. The pay was great however the job itself serves no purpose. Erika Ragland: I was an employee of SVG for 5 years and 2 days after making my 5 years, I was informed effective THAT day, that was going to be my LAST day of employment with the company. Apparently SVG was going thru "Company restructuring" and close to 300 of us were terminated, no notice at all. Come to find out a few months later, they (SVG) was hiring!! WTH?? I applied, against my better judgment and guess what........they went with someone else!! They never tried to place me in a different department, they just let me go. This is NOT a company I would advise anyone to apply to, if it happened to me and others, it could happen again. BEWARE!!

Now over 3 years later I continue to get calls, letters, and emails about state insurance licenses that SVG signed me up for that I was unaware of. This is not acceptable, and frankly concerning.Original review:Worked for SVG for about 18 months. Very appealing and informative training process. Great opportunity for someone that needs a job or wants to get some sales experience.Educated or management seeking people should avoid sales role here. While advertised that they promote within and you are a “manager in training”; that just is not true.Ironically, manager roles tend to go to top producers; which often is not what they have been spending their time training for. And, the results usually speak for themselves.Money is very seasonal. It’s decent during training, pretty good during busy season. But be prepared to work long repetitive hours. The lead system is great if you are doing well and a true nightmare if you have some bad days. Always remember, Everything you do and say is monitored by management.There is blatant favoritism on the sales floor, hopefully you get a manager that cares about you and always remember it’s easier for them to replace you then further train you.The company does throw a good party so if you can stick it out for a year or two it’s a decent experience. Just remember that you are not valued as much as they paint the picture of.
