Elvin Robinson: Employees aren't helpful at all and will watch you at self checkout to make sure you don't steal anything. It may be a bit of a drive and more costly but I recommend going to the Price Chopper on Blue Ridge in Raytown. The employees there whom are mostly black are cheerful, nice and helpful.

He is VERY RUDE and disrespectful. I honestly feel bad for him because of his rude, disgusting, sad mentality. Why be in a profession that you hate? It sure did seem like he didn’t want to be there at all. Not one bit. Not to mention he is either on his phone watching something or eating when he’s checking you out and doesn’t care to make eye contact or talk to you. 2nd accouter and still rude. This made me not want to step foot in this store.

Laura & George Weatherford: This store has been closed for a week now. There’s no notice or reason given on the doors.

Robert Johnston: This location is frequently closed during regular business hours. On todays visit the store shelves were bare, and otherwise messy and disorganized. There were no cold energy drinks of any kind and nearly all the milk was two days from expiration. I was able to find everything needed and the family dollar location at the other end of the avenue. Milk within date, cold drinks etc. As a retailer with 20+ years experience, I give them a failing grade👎🏼 Perhaps the store is a reflection of the neighborhood itself but for a few of us…. Stand apart if you want return visits.

James Sanders: Last three times there they were out of my dog food. So I call to make sure and save the trip on gas. The phone rang at least 50 times on 3 attempts to call. So I called Dollar General they answered by the 3rd ring. So now I'm going there to buy the dog food and laundry soap there.
Tina Murphy: The staff was friendly. The location is great it's easy to get to.
Crystal Bedwell: Employees expect you to leave wallet size satchels at the front desk, are extremely rude in telling you to do so, while she was playing on her phone ( if she was truly scared of customers stealing things, maybe she should get off her phone and pay attention to her surroundings)I've been coming to this location for 15 years, and I won't be back. I'm not a criminal and did nothing to deserve being treated as horrible as I was!If the staff is that scared of customers that have done, and said nothing suspicious, I no longer feel safe at that location .

Patricia Nunn: Purchased a Magnavox indoor antenna and tried to return it unopened with my receipt, however they said there are no returns on electronic or any other merchandise not even an exchange. Really nasty about it too. They told me the best thing I can do is try to sell it to someone that needs it. How stupid. How was I suppose to know there are no returns on electronics and any other merchandise it wasn’t on my receipt nor did anyone let me know. I am giving Family Dollar all of “1” Star. Better off to shop at Walmart cause Family Dollar is is trying to get over on you. Am seeking legal advice on this one.

Cherelle Cook: If I could give no stars that would be this store's rating. Besides me and my husband leaving and 4 other customers who left all waiting for a cashier. I walked all the isles, and rung the bell continously. The only person in the store not waiting was the lady who was sleep and snoring on the stocking cart by the electronics. Customers were asking if she was OK, I shook the cart and she didn't wake up. I don't appreciate my time being wasted. She needs to be FIRED if she was on duty 4/25/21 @ 3:30pm.

He definitely is NOT a people person. They also have a confusing sign taped up near the register says something like "No, No, No cash back honey". Guess it was referring to no asking for cash back over the purchase cost. Really should clarify and sign could be more professional.

c dubya: Here's a CRAZY IDEA. If you sell out of things like Xtra Laundry Detergent in the large 206oz sizes and Alpo Dog Food 31lb bags quickly and everything else just sits on the shelf. Maybe entertain DOUBLING the orders of stuff that sells so you have it. Get it together.

Last week a employee told her boss that she has been exposed to someone with a positive covid test to be told she has to stay at work because she has no symptoms. The health dept states that even without symptoms u carry the virus and can spread it. Another time a employee named JD runs around throwing her raisr and promotion in the other employees faces which is extremely unprofessional as a manager. Today I was in and listened to Lisa I think is the GM of the store tell the same employee who was exposed this is her last chance or she is fired. How can anyone be held responsible for a exposure to covid??? Very unprofessional and I hope corp sees this and I'd be happy to enlighten them even more on how there store is run and why they don't keep business.

I made another trip today and many items were not available because it was stocking day. Freezer had problems and items were moved to end of freezer and randomly placed with no prices. Shelves were in disorder. Usually this store is well stocked and organized. Not today!!

I carry an over the shoulder man bag and every time I go in here I'm forced to leave my bag at the front of the store and I'm looked at like I'm going to steal the whole store or something....
