Carl Wilder: The family wanted Kansas City Chiefs gear since the won the Super Bowl. This place was ready. They were open until midnight after the big game. And they opened early for more fans. Great staff.
Holly Morris: There is multiple things to choose from. It's nice to see there's something for everyone. The prices like other places are a little high. Whether you need bows, guns, ammo, golf, shoes, Sports clothing, bicycles and more. This is a good place to go for a nice quality. It is clean and organized.

Megan Laffoon: I ordered my daughter volleyball shoes online and when we got them they were not in new condition. I took them up to this store and everyone there was so kind and helpful. They immediately looked and saw the shoes were clearly used and the Manager was very quick to remedy the situation for us. It was not the hassel I imagined it would be. T L: If you need it for a sport, this place has it. They've had everything we've needed for wrestling, football, soccer, and 5ks. We were even able to score a trampoline during the pandemic while all other stores were out of stock. It's a bit of a drive for us for but this is the place we know will have what we need when local stores do not.

Steve Heath: Great Trakman simulators. Good place to practice and hone your swing while seeing all the stats on every swing. Very informative. Allows you to make changes based on facts.
Sam Persell: Outstanding golf instruction to improve anyone's game and the 6 Trackman system are incredible. Several courses to choose from. It's a must try for golfers of all level and skill.
Diane Smith: This hidden gem is off the beaten path but definitely worth the trip.
Roy Hutchinson: I really like going to this Academy. Six hitting stations with very sophisticated Trackman units. You can play over 200 courses including many tour courses. Personal lessons are available using the technology to focus on specific parts of the golf swing. Quality clubs from Mizuno and XXIO are available for purchase. It is great in the hot summer and cold winter days to work on my swing.
Andrew Brennaman: This is the best facility in the area! Top of the line simulators, equipment, and definitely the best instructor! Jess has vendors in all the time for club fittings, ball fittings, and shaft fittings. It’s just an all around great place to relax and get some practice in.

KC Local: I hate to leave a subpar review because Jess seems like a nice guy, but -He gave me some strange advice. I was getting stuck behind the ball. He suggested I set up with 60% of my weight on my trail leg. This was the emphasis of most of the lesson. It did not work for me. I have since started loading up on my lead leg and more or less stay there throughout the swing (the opposite of what he suggested). That has drastically improved my ball striking and consistency. Granted, he identified a problem but his solution was not for me. Other than that I got just a couple other swing tips that were so-so useful.I since tried an online lesson and got numerous helpful tips and drills, for less money. I will stick to the online lesson in the future.
Rae Holman: Highly recommend Jess and the rest of his staff. I had the pleasure of working with him this week and he is literally a book of knowledge when it comes to the biomechanics of a golf swing. I had such a great time and he didn’t seem to mind my competitive nature. I can’t wait for my next lesson. I hope I can make him proud!

Eric Windsor: I play a round of golf about 4 times a week. I got into some really bad habits. Took my first lesson with Jess. It was the best lesson ever!!! He has all the equipment the pro's use. His equipment is so state of the art its unreal. I highly recommend taking lessons from Jess. After my lesson with Jess I will never take a lesson from an instructor that just video records me with an iPad.

Michael Marcase: Jess gave me a lesson along with fitting me for new irons that dramatically improved my ball striking and I was able to take that directly to the course. It made a BIG difference

Marcus Pratt: The for sale box of ammunition I wanted to purchase was not marked with the price, forcing me to buy a more expensive box that I really could not afford. It was only after I purchased my ammunition that a salesman put the correct price on the ammunition. When I brought this to their attention, they inform me that I would have to go up to the refund counter and go through the whole process of getting a refund and then purchasing the ammunition that was on sale! I felt that they could have easily avoided this by simply advising me of the sales price in the first place. Normally I have very good purchasing experiences with Bass pro, but this time I was a little inconvenienced with the purchase in this particular case.

Michael Woodard: Put a lot of trust in Dons advice. Really steered us down the wrong path for the fishing tournament. Out of hundreds of dollars in possibly the worst bass lures ever recommended. The fish absolutely hated the color schemes that don swore by. Kinda thinking he just made it all up.

Sara Beth Prideaux: If you are a woman who is looking for hiking gear and/or shoes do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The women's clothing section doesn't offer any real attire fit for doing any serious hiking yet the men's section does. I went to try on hiking boots and Bass Pro apparently does not cater to wide sized feet. Bass Pro definitely needs to step up their game.
Tim Smith: Check out was very slow. There was only one person ahead of me and it took 10 minutes to get through the line. The cashier seemed very interested in chatting with the lady ahead of me. The customer service area had 2 people standing around doing nothing. I understand customer service representatives are not allowed to take customers money for purchase. The credit card reader is an older slower version that keeps popping up messages to leave your card in the reader. These machines need to be updated.

Sara LaMastres: I have been visiting this Bass Pro since I was a child. I have many memories here and I'm glad I get to make memories with my children here too! My son and I visited the other day and he loves to see the animals. The store is always clean and well organized and the animals are obviously well taken care of! I just wish the restaurant was still open. The food was great and again, great memories there! Hopefully it comes back in the future!
