Stephanie Opfer: Since December of 2022 this company’s billing has been outrageous. Understandably, during the winter everyone can expect their bills to be a bit higher but it seems that this company has doubled their normal charge amount.

Times are difficult for everyone but here ya go let me add some additional fees to your bill to make it even more difficult. $150 + $65 oh and once you go to pay that they’ll be another fee toward your next bill along with the current bill owed. 😒 Definitely not working to help their customers.

Katie Moore: Had spire for awhile. Pay it the same way every month on my online acct. They said I didn’t pay my January Bill when I did and early. They told me to send a bank statement. I called, emailed over bank statements, screenshots of my payment from my bank. It’s been 4 months and it’s still not resolved. Only two times I’ve gotten an email back out of MANY emails sent with what they asked for. They finally called me and said they’d take care of it within 2 business days. Another month passes, still no change on my acct. Then they say my bank statement and showing the transaction was taken out of my acct wasn’t enough and they need proof of payment that Spire actually got the money. It literally shows that on the bank statement!! Why does ONE payment out many, get lost? How does a payment get lost online when it’s paid the same way every month.
Eric Burgess: Prices going through the roof, doubling my bill. Spire dug up my front yard without notice. Stuck in their monopoly in my area, or I would drop their service today.
Oasis Managment: A new tenant purchased a home here in the park and there was a leftover gas bill from the previous owner who unfortunately passed away.We let spire know about this but the new tenant still had to pay for a bill that didn't belong to them even if they wanted heat and hot water.
Michael Gatewood: My family bought a mobile home and moved into it there was a gas bill from the previous owner that is deceased and we couldn't get the gas turned on unless we paid someone else's bill.

Laura Mullins: I have shut off my gas for the summer for 10 years. Once I called Missouri Gas Energy to reconnect they would always come out the following day. Not Spire, it was a week after I called. Not only that, come to find out it's an all day appointment: 7:30am until 11:00pm. I wish I still had Mo Gas Energy. Spire is an aweful company. We should be able to choose our gas service. Spire has a monopoly, no choice. Gas or no gas. Spire is the worst company.
Ronnie Simpler: I had spire shut off my service 2 years ago when I lost my house to a fire. I recently tried to get new service but because my old bill was 14.00 when I had them shut it off they want that and 150.00 deposit to start service. Even after the lady on the phone told me it was sent to collections and wrote off.I'm switching to all electric and investing in solar panels. I will never do business with greedy spire again!

Desiree Wilson: I got a disconnect notice for $181.00 dollars so I tried paying over the phone but they do not allow you to pay with a debit card, instead they want your routing and account number which is odd. Then I tried to pay at a pay center but they only accept cash. So I went and paid $200.00 dollars and then when I got home I had a disconnect notice on my door so I called them and they tell me that want an additional $291.00 to have my service restored. That doesn’t even make any sense! The customer service representative said I have to pay $150.00 deposit that’s not even going to go towards my bill and the only way I get it back is if I pay my bill on time every month for the next 12 months. I’m still not understanding why I’m paying so much to have service restored. I can understand having to pay a reconnection fee but this is just ridiculous!! I’m sure that $150.00 dollars will go straight in their pocket because they are thieves!

Erica Eimer: We got five bids from five different neighborhood-referred companies, McDaniel included. Our referring neighbor had nothing but good things to say about this company. Theirs wasn't the lowest bid; nor was it the highest. But, from the initial call to their office, to the sales/estimating pro, to the two doing the installing, this company was professional and answered all our questions and then some. During installation, I asked Will and Evan about the positioning of some exhaust pipe and concerns I had. The "why" of the situation was explained very clearly to my complete understanding. When all was said and done, they tweaked the positioning a little based on our conversation, which I did not expect, but am extremely happy with. Their knowledge and careful consideration of the issue led them to a very professional solution and adjustments that resulted in satisfied customers. Great job. Bradford Dabbs: Came in to swap a 5# CO2 tank that came with a kegerator for larger 20# tank, which should save me a lot of money in the long-term on refills. I was a bit skeptical as to how helpful they would be to a walk-in private customer, as I've had pretty hit and miss experiences with companies that primarily serve commercial accounts. They were very friendly and were able to get me into a larger tank at a very fair price!

Steve B: I get all the gas (CO2 & Nitrogen/CO2 blend) for my homebrew here. They have several different beer gas blends as well. Staff is always very friendly and helpful and the service is super fast. They usually see me pull up and have a bottle ready to go. I'd recommend them to anyone that homebrews or has a need for gas.
Joshua Godwin: A great spot to get gas for your kegerator. They have both CO2 and Nitrogen blends for Guinness, etc.

Joshua Krieg: I reached out to Ted due to his A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. I needed service due to the fact that my AC wouldn't work. I had to leave him a voicemail and he returned my call within 10 minutes. He informed me that he can be by the same day to take a look at it. He reached out to me again and let me know that he would be at my house in about 10 minutes. That was appreciated. Upon arrival he began his diagnoses and got right to the issue, he replaced the component that had failed and had the air conditioner running in no time. He preceded to check out the entire cooling system and did so with good conversation and in a professional manor. There was no attempt to up sale un needed parts and I was happy with the final service bill. I will be calling Ted's Heating and Cooling the next time I need service for sure. I called because of an error code on my HVAC controller that said "the furnace high pressure switch is failing to close." Ted walked me through exactly what I needed to do over the phone. I am very grateful for his generosity. Every other HVAC company told me they were booked up for at least a week. Obviously, I can't go without heat for a whole week....fortunately Ted had my back. Casey Traders: I used Morton man over the summer time to help get my AC going the tech was great. so yesterday when we switched our heat on and it didn't work they were our first call, they said they were busy and would fit us in today completely understandable on short notice, the tech called today to tell my fiance he would be to our house shortly, my fiance left work and headed home to meet the tech, instead of showing up tech called and said he wasn't sure if he even had the the part to fix our air-conditioning, and would call back.2 hours went by waiting to hear from the tech, finally got a hold of him and he said nothing they can do till Friday. so instead of fixing my problem or telling us they couldn't fix our problem they wasted our time all day and now we can't even have someone to came look at it till tom. I would not recommend this company at all.

I begged them that if they didn’t want my money to please refer me to someone else. I was told that I was absolutely the next on the list and I would hear from them soon. It’s now 5:30pm and I haven’t heard a word from them. How many days do I continue to be held hostage in my home waiting for them to show up? At least have the courtesy to tell me you aren’t coming so I don’t sit here waiting. It’s obvious that my time is not worth anything to these people.

Megiloth: I highly recommend this company. I've been with them for 10 years when they installed a new AC and Furnace. I'll have them out every couple years for maintenance. They don't try to upsell on something I don't need. If there is something I may not need, they are upfront in saying that maybe in a couple years I may need such-and-such replaced but not now. Recently I had an issue where water was dripping down the sides where the seams are all taped up. The guy actually told me he could save me a few bucks on a call and had me do a simple fix, which was the overflow tube and drain pain being clogged. Problem solved.I have not had any problems with them and they are always on-time within their window. They do take credit card, but there is a fee for that, so I just breakout my rarely used checkbook and write a check.Also, they give a 10% military discount, so someone like me who was in the Marine Corps nearly 30 years ago really appreciates that.Great service and great people.Services:A/C system maintenance,Cleaning,Heating system maintenance,Install AC
Alissa Napier: I have literally never made a review, positive or negative, but with the overwhelming good reviews (which is why I hired them) I wanted to share my experience so some other family doesn’t get ripped off and taken advantage of like we did. I paid $700 to have our furnace repaired by AV. The furnace never got repaired even after being out here 3 times (in their defense one of the times was our fault as we were not giving them accurate information), so we called a different company. The new company showed us an actual part was broken within 5 minutes. AV told us our furnace was “frozen due to extreme temps”. I emailed them and after I didn’t receive a response I also reported them to BBB, with again no response. I feel as if they took advantage of our lack of education surrounding our HVAC system. Mathew Sheeler: We called to have them come out to inspect and noise and burning smell from our heating system. The owner came out that afternoon and found that we had a bad blower. Our unit was over 15 years old so we already new that it would need to be replaced soon. The owner Jim and Adam came out the next day and installed our new unit. Good prices and amazing service. They came out and inspected and it turns out they found the hot water heater had rotted through the bottom. They installed new hot water heaters at a reasonable price and even gave me a veterans discount. They were very professional and courteous. Mike ODell: Jim Workman of AV Heating and Cooling showed up quicker than I expected, tracked down the problem with my central air conditioning and made the repairs very quickly. Jim's not only a professional that takes pride in his work but he's also a very personable individual. I must admit that the cost seemed a bit high but isn't that always the case? Everyone seems to want repairs done for free or dirt cheap. I was tickled to death with his expertise in tracking down my problem and getting me back up and running again on a very hot afternoon and it was on a very hot Saturday afternoon.
