Danny Stevens: I would like to share my story of how I feel Fine Restoration criminally victimized us. My 80yr old parents experienced a house fire. We hired Fine Restoration to restore our property. They promised us a sound renovation and a brand-new house. I travel for a living and so I was not able to be present for the majority of the renovation. They were presented with a restoration summary from State Farm detailing exactly how to restore our property. They ignored the insurance summary greatly. Eventually resulting in tens of thousands of dollars in costly mistakes and extremely poor quality of craftsmanship that they have chosen to not take accountability for. Fine Restoration has shown themselves to be unprofessional, dishonest, and fraudulent. We paid 70k upfront. We have had the property inspected. The inspectors professional evaluation indicated that Fine Restoration only put 40k back into our property with a 155k budget. They are not Better Business Bureau Accredited. So do your research before hiring Fine Restoration. This company is operated by criminals. Shame on Fine Restoration for preying on the elderly.

Chris Hanway: They were referred by my insurance company for water damage. If it comes down to doing it right or taking a short cut, they take the short cut every time. Absolutely no supervision, or quality control. Even though I pointed out the subfloor damage when they did their estimate and before the work began, they did not put it on the insurance claim. I was told they would request more money from the insurance company, fix the subfloor and tear out the old flooring. I was out of town when they were doing the repairs. While I was gone, without talking with me, they decided to just put leveler down and put the new flooring on top of the old flooring. When I returned, the refrigerator was sitting out from the cabinets because now it was too tall to fit under the cabinet. When removing the trim. they were too lazy to score the trim, so there was torn paint from removing the trim all over the home. One piece of door trim was put back at an angle because they were too lazy to cut the 1/4 round to fit the door. So they just put the trim in at an angle without ever removing the originals holding the door trim from the wall. The new nail used to put in the door trim were bent over into the trim and not even covered with patch. There were holes in the wall from when they removed the trim that were not ever repaired. The trim behind the refrigerator was not even attached. I could go on and on. They have no pride in their work, no one supervises the work. I needed to replace the master bath cabinet that was damaged by the water leak, I told them I just wanted the same stock cabinet. When they could not find itafter more than a week, their solution was to just not tell me anything and wait until I called them to find out the status. After I picked out a new cabinet and told it would arrive the next week, instead of the the job foreman telling me he was going on vacation that week and to expect to hear from another person, he just did not tell me anything. No one covers when someone goes on vacation, this was the second time this happened during my project. If I had not called, I would have been waiting another week for the cabinet. They knew I was selling the place as soon as they finished. You are their only quantity control, they do not inspect any of the work. Then they sent me a bill for $5,800 dollars with no explanation, just a line item with the price. I did not owe this money this was an invoice that should have gone to the insurance. Again I had to call to get this fixed. I would never let this company set foot in a property I own.
