First2 Watch: Dont order your online tag renewal from this location. They just let these orders sit around and dont fill them. If the state would audit this place they would no longer award them the dmv contract. This place needs to be monitored by the state.
Leanne Maynard: I was there today 5-1-2023. Mia was the only one working in new titles and title renewals. I felt sorry for her. She was 5 star and knew what she was doing, very fast and efficient. But I only gave 4 stars because she should not have been working alone on the 1st of the month, who is doing there schedules? I used to make a schedule for 85 employees, and knew how to schedule employees.
Dianna Gillespie: I have been there twice now waiting for a motor vehicle business and the motor vehicle window is extremely slow. The people working there are great it just seems like the motor vehicle window needs more help.
Cameron Woodward: I went in around 02/03/23 to file for reissued personal plates. The manager had to come out and assist, once she understood what had to be done. She had to call the state, no problem. This isn’t a normal situation they deal with. We get it all figured out and get the form filled out and says it will be sent off. I go in today 03/28/23 to see why my plates aren’t in yet. Ask for the manager as she helped initially, I explain why I’m back, she says she has never done reissue personal plate forms and has never done it. I explained step by step what she did and she wanted to get an attitude telling me I was wrong and to show her the paperwork from last time. I never received paperwork back cause they were supposed to mail it to the state. Then wants to continue with this attitude and be just rude and ignorant about it. Then wants to inform me she would never “do paperwork that needs to be sent to the state”. So it was a lost cause. I went to Sugar Creek office, got everything done and got the correct information and forms and already have it sent off. I DO NOT recommend this DMV as they all have ugly attitudes and will have people waiting for hours and hours while they just sit there. If you need a DMV. Go to Sugar Creek. Save yourself the headache and frustration!
Beast of No Nation: White girl working in the driver’s license seat is very loud I asked her to lower your voice from reading important documents for others to hear “ she said to bad that’s how I talk “ I would suggest nobody goes here I was also not the only one so if you want someone to know your business and address she definitely tells your business!!!!

The lady I dealt with was smiley and very helpful, even going to check with another person when she was unsure of an answer to my (really, unrelated) question. I would definitely recommend this DMV.
Reka Hopkins: Drivers Exam! avoid this place. All of them or lazy in that place. The Spanish lady can barely speak English and the old white lady with Curley hair that work mornings is very rude and racists. She will not pass you unless your young or white. They will intentionally fail you even before you take the test they already made they decision. There’s not 1 man working there all women with attitudes and rude! It’s only one white lady there that’s very nice and polite she’s tall and she have dark straight hair. The others act very childish and they be talking about people and laughing at them. Intentionally find something to fail you. Be cautious they will fail you for another driver jumping in front of you and you having to come to a quick stop almost having accident, but the driver taking the test they will fail for other peoples mistakes! Rude, rude, disrespectful. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Mary Ross: The young lady always helping at the License desk is very rude! I came in back on 11/5 to update my name. And still have not received my new license. Went in today, to see if something happened to why my license hasn’t come. She looks at me all hateful like and with the most condescending tone said, “this was just processed on the 29th, you have to give it time.” I was like I was here weeks ago,, and was told it would take just a couple of weeks to receive it in the mail. The temporary ID states if you do not receive your ID within 30 days to call a certain number! Well honey my 30 days is in 2 days.. so you might want to check your attitude towards others when I should be concerned that my license hasn’t come yet! I came in all nice.. but no reason to give me attitude when I did nothing wrong ( I don’t want to be there and you make it obvious you don’t want to either) . Seems like you didn’t do your job and send it in when I first came . But thank you!
SpecialK HarleyDiva: My title never shows up so I come back and find out they mailed to an address that doesn't exist and they are going to re issue it.Received the title yesterday, the address, name is still wrong and no TOD is on it.Now wasting my time again today trying to correct this. Still wont put my full name on title as it was and say it's no big deal. Does anyone do their job correctly anymore??

John Martin: Had my drivers license renewed in early March and opted to get a Real ID license. Brought all the required documents and was issued my temporary. The actual license never arrived by mail and Jeff City DOR said I needed to go back to the DMV and they would issue a replacement. Not so! The manager said that they needed all the documents again even though I presented the temporary they issued based on verification of my documents. When I then said just do a regular license their response was that I had to wait for my first temporary to expire before they would issue a new one! The manager clarified that they could do it the day before. She blamed the confusion on her employee being new and inexperienced.Bad customer service from beginning to end including bad info from Jeff City. No wonder people would rather get a root canal or vasectomy than go to the DMV!

Lawrence Land: Made an appointment and only had about a 45 minute wait; MAKE AN APPOINTMENT BEFORE YOU GO... Walk-in wait is longer. The service at the window was courteous and efficient. The young lady at the window was polite and knowledgeable. Good experience.
Kay Mitchell: Miss Tina, she was the 1st employee i met. Checked my paper work. Helped me with a peice I was missing. Very kind. (Kept me from having to drive to my husband's office and back. A 1.5 round trip) all with a sweet spirit and smile. 2nd person was Kay. She overheard an older gentleman's need to renew his tags. The man was from a county 2 hr away. The man was here cause his daughter was in hospital. She volunteered to help him learn how to renew on line on his phone on her lunch break. Wow what kindness and compassion. Penny Kill: Made my 5th trip today to register a boat and trailer. Went in confident today as two different women told me I had everything. Well it changed when my number got called up. I was told that I needed a power of attorney for the trailer. I had one for the boat, which I was told the first visit I needed because it wasn't in my name. Boat and trailer are on the same title, why did I need two power of attorneys? I am beyond words and have made another appointment hoping I have all their needs met.

Take the stairs to the second floor, once on the second floor go to right. Go to the information window, and they will give you a number. For the license plate, you need ID(driver license) original title, insurance card up-to-date.Car's and trailers.Estacionamiento en Ann St, ve a la entrada principal en 7th St. Pasa el chequeo de seguridad, detector de metal,(evita metal en tu ropa) toma la escalera al segundo piso, en el segundo piso ve a la derecha, despues dirigite a la ventana de informacion. Susan wilson: It took maybe 6 weeks to get an appointment. Couldn't renew my library card without a DL. Scared I would get a ticket without a DL. When my appt. came around, it was fast and easy.

In all of wyandotte counties wisdom or rather lack there of they put the DMV office for titling in with the courthouse, why? Why can't we be more like Johnson county, and I'd dunno work... They don't accept walk ins and still running policies like COVID mandates are still in effect and have to control how many people they see. I walked into to replace a lost title, paperwork already done and cash in hand. They said I had to leave and mail it to them.... Why is wyandotte county so fricken backwards.

My wait time was 5 hours after check in so I was able to go home because I was already out and about, so I ate breakfast, watched TV, took a nap and lived my best life while waiting on a notification through text message. After I got my :30 minute ahead notification I headed to the Courthouse and I was In and Out in less than an hour. Yes Siiir!!

It was truly a complicated issue as it involved a Trust, a sale or another vehicle, and the completion of all paperwork. Cassie took care of us (the person we worked with before was not in the office) and spent considerable time in making calls & thinking through the process! We cannot be more thankful and satisfied in all of our experiences at the Belton License Office, but this was over the top in customer service and resolution of the issue. Clayton Johnson: Was a good experience but on the negative side of things it was extremely overcrowded. They did a wonderful job at getting customers back out as quickly as possible, was told a hour wait and got out in 35min.
