Ed Burchett: This place is a clown circus! I had to go to Affordable Dentures and they made my dentures in seven hours as opposed to Wright Dental who was jacking me around for seven months! It cost me an extra $2000 but it was worth it to be able to say Wright Dental is the WRONG Dental. I'm sure I will get their rubber stamp response by saying, "We're sorry you had a bad experience at our office but our record do not show you were ever a patient here".

Sydney Dalton: Absolutely horrible place, withholding patients medical documents, not returning calls, and ruined my friends mouth and she has no teeth because of them. Plus the Dr has felony, he almost got his license revoked in Kansas but gave it up instead and came here to missouri to continue screwing up people's teeth.

Jk Burlington: After reading all the reviews I can assure you I'll never darken the doorstep of this place. I have a close friend who has been in nothing but misery and he'll since they messed up her mouth with their incompetence. She can't eat and is now malnourished and a list of other things.

James Nordstrom: The ladies that work here are really nice and do a great job. The finance department on the other hand is absolutely horrible. The finance customer service is unprofessional and does not know how to resolve an issue. I paid for service that was not needed and was to get a refund, I was told it would take 2 weeks, when it was 30 days and now 4 months later and still no refund. DO NOT USE WRIGHT DENTURES. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.Yes, You refunded it to a closed account after I gave you the new account information and are not willing to help.

Stephen Mosher: let me first say I am not a patient of this dental facility. I was actually going to make an appointment the first week of 2023 but after reading the reviews there is ZERO chance. I seen a commercial on TV a couple of weeks with some girl and glasses it looked like she was leading reading from a teleprompter but she looked like a deer in headlights. No smile, and no personality whatsoever. In fact it was just downright creepy even though she was an attractive woman. Even when someone had posted a one or two star rating in the reviews and voiced their complaint, the responses from the dental clinic are mostly just blah. It's obvious there's no care or true concern they're just trying to cover their own rear ends. I don't have extra money to throw around and certainly not here.

My package wasn't the full package we discussed and I guess that's my fault for not reading and verifying. I had 10 teeth pulled and went for a partial denture and when it was time for my permanent ones apparently the package I paid $2,727 dollar for didn't include the permanent ones. So now I'm switching my dentists to people that'll actually care. I have never gotten a call back from the manager about my concerns. Everytime I left there I was just angry

In the past few months with NO return calls not 1. My husband Jim Locke got his teeth pulled and the denture set with these guys. He never made it to the permanent real teeth, only had gotten the temp set that has NOT WORKED at all from the beginning they even made a second temp set that did not work. He could not eat with them, they come out every time. they did not fit his mouth. I would think about it before you choose this company. Not worth the one star. we have requested a full REFUND on the dentures. I can not even get the manager to call back. her employees say in her notes that we are refusing to come in when we have. He told them at each visit they are not working and they keep saying because of you gums shrinking NOT TRUE. my husband and myself have told them after their own staff says these teeth will never fit they are just for looks. We finally had to go to another place to get new teeth so my husband could eat. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!! I will pay for the insured teeth removal but that is it! I'm calling an attorney to help with my refund if I don't hear back soon. I have given you guys way to long. JUST REFUND THE DENTURES! you can NOT KEEP MY MONEY FOR PRODUCT NEVER RECIEVED OR BAD! and that is what you are doing.

Every appointment I was greeted with such kindness and professionalism and was explained in thorough detail what each appointment entailed. If I had any questions or concerns they were more than happy to answer any questions I had. The quality of the product at Wright dentures and implants is a top quality denture for the price! Syd: I got a partial which took me some time to save the almost $2000. Chose the flex fit, one without metal. I had to go back 6 times for fitting and still didn’t fit. A tooth on the partial fell out twice. The partial is now cracked in 2 different places and still can’t wear it. It’s only 2 months old…They said I could pay to have it fixed. I’ve never been able to wear it and don’t think I should have to pay for their mistake. They definitely value money over patient.

connie osborn: Took over a year to do my mother-in-law's teeth. You blamed her for cancelling appointment, but she was hospitalized both times. When she went to get her teeth that were supposed to be ready, she was told last impressions were done wrong, why wasn't she told right when you knew. The lady that did them wrong commented, (it is what it is), to my mother-in-law. The point is comfort dental did my mom's beautifully in a about 2 months, with no extractions, my friend went to family dental plastic surgery, with extractions only 3 months and that's getting his permanent teeth that he was very happy with. She is over 70, can't drive herself and has health issues. This has been a very inconvenient experience for all.

L D: Went in end of March. Had teeth pulled end of April. Was super nervous about the entire process. The staff was amazing. Every time I have called with a question or concern its been answered or I've been seen. Scheduled my appointments to get my permanent dentures today! I've recommended them to several friends and family!

I was told I was getting a final set of dentures after healing for a year, they had me come in for the impressions, then hit me with the news that No I do not get a final set. Manager offered no discount & denied to help with any of this. I was inconveniencednumerous times. Very upsetting. I'll update my review once I get to see the work they've done from today.

Jeremy Reed: I needed an adjustment to my teeth which had been made out of state and they were able to get me in the same day. When I got there, I went back well before my appointment time and was actually done before when my appointment had been scheduled. The technician that helped me was awesome. We talked thru what was going on and he was able to get them fixed very quickly and easily. I will actually be going back to talk about getting a new set made as well as hopefully getting implants put in as well and I can't wait! I would definitely recommend this office over another somewhat local office I've dealt with before for an issue I had in the past.

After they called the doctor back to evaluate my teeth she had me smile and simply said “no we can’t do this implant, go to where you normally go” because it was in the front of my smile. The nurse tried to explain to her that my Orthodontist referred me to get my implant at this location. And she was super hateful and rude to her own nurse and cut her off mid sentence saying “no. Listen to me. I said we can’t do this implant.” I thought it was very unprofessional how she was talking to her nurse in front of a CUSTOMER. Also they FAILED to tell me I had to check out at the desk after they refused my implant. The front desk woman never stopped me or mentioned checking out. I had to go to work that night so I wasn’t able to go back to pay the 20$ they charged me to SMILE. Litterly. So they need are charging me 100$ for refusing my services..I work customer service so I understand people can be very nit picky on their services. But the way the doctor treated her nurses in front of a CUSTOMER had me angry for the nice lady.

Then they tell you you wont pay more then they quote, then charged me over a thousand more, and would not give me my dentures until I payed in full. then my dentures were huge from the first time I put them in, and tried to reach them by phone but always rang busy,finally drove to the office and was told system was down and had been for awhile that is why they weren't answering phones. It has been an awful experience. Still wearing teeth that fall out.

I can’t tell you how many crowns and fillings Caring Dental had to do for my 20+ cavities. My husband is military and I have since been to 4 different dental offices since moving from KC and every one has complemented the work that was done nearly 10 years ago. I highly recommend Caring Dental.

Tiffany B: This office is amazing!! I have had a few cleanings here and several fillings -some of which were pretty intense. Dr. Nguyen had to replace for me some really bad fillings another dentist performed. With a lot of other doctors, I would have had to go with crowns and since I don't have very good dental coverage that was way out of my price range. Dr. Nguyen suggested me getting the fillings instead of crowns. This ended up being MUCH cheaper and my teeth are great! Her job was immaculate. She really puts herself into her work. She is a perfectionist. The previous dentist's fillings weren't half as good as hers and he had more tooth to work with! After my routine cleaning, my teeth have never felt so good. The work is excellent!As a person, Dr. Nguyen is genuine, friendly, and very caring. I think there's a reason she named her practice that. :) As a doctor, she is very knowledgable and intelligent. Both my mom and I are full of questions and we're very opinionated. She has spent hours between the two of us discussing what the best options for our teeth would be -pros and cons. She is definitely not one of those people that gives you advice because she wants to make more money; she give advice because she is concerned for your teeth. She will give you her professional advice and definitely backs it up with facts, but the best part about her is that if we decide we want to do something different she will do whatever we ask and she'll do a good job.The office as a whole is very personable. Her staff, Jennifer and Amanda, are very friendly and efficient. They know what they're doing. I would definitely recommend.

Ju Lambirth: Due to the fact that I wouldn't agree to an expensive deep cleaning, this dentist will not provide the other services I need to have (fillings). She told me "why bother" I was asked to sign a refusal of care document. Dr Nguyen embarrassed my daughter with a comment about her crooked teeth. This woman has no class at all, and should care more about her patients and less about selling expensive services not everyone can afford.

In other words, not part of a quota pushing corporation. All the thousands of dollars worth of work they claimed my husband needed was a lie. Period. They were cleaning my teeth every 3 months instead of 6, sucking all of the insurance dollars and also charging me $135 on top of it. Doing the SAME EXACT cleaning job on my teeth as they were doing on my husband. Good riddance. Beware to all.

Andy Charles: Not something you’d traditionally think of a dentist for but our newborn was not feeding well. Pediatrician said he did not have any tongue ties, took him to Dr Deacy and she not only diagnosed him with a posterior tongue tie but an upper lip tie as well (causing it to blister from feeding) 5 minutes later problems solved. Feeding/latching a million times better.

Michelle Benson: Nurse Haylee and Doctor Ellis are phenomenal!! 😍 We have had bad experiences with a few dental offices in the past. Our daughter hated even the idea of going...but let me tell you! From the moment we walked through the door Haylee made my daughter comfortable. She helped us throughout the check in process and then took us back where we met Doctor Ellis. From the moment she came in she made us comfortable! She started talking to my daughter and myself and assured me they would do everything they could to help our little girl. At one point they both had her laughing on the table!! I highly recommend this place and their staff to anyone who needs dental care for their kids! Me and my husband will be in for our appointments soon.

H O: I had been coming to the Dentists of Independence for a few years and things were fine. Yesterday, after my x-ray, the assistant and dentist picked at my teeth and kept talking about how I need to floss my teeth more often (I agree). Then, they suggested I have a deep cleaning at another time. They brought in a young man to explain the prices, kind of like a closer at a car dealership. He informed me it would cost about $1,400. I replied this was a rip-off and was not going to do this. Of course he took umbrage and that ended things. They refunded $30 of my $107. So I wasted a few hours or my time and $77 for nothing (other than an x-ray).

They are all top of the line professionals, with superb workmanship, artistry and state of the art equipment! A CEREC Milling Unit (for same day crowns & implants). A lab on site, 3D Imaging, and TV for his patients to watch while waiting, or just to relax if they wish. Kid friendly environment very welcoming. I thought there was no hope, unless I spent a fortune. His fees are very reasonable, accepting all insurances or out of pocket patients and still affordable for all incomes, they will work with you. The whole staff is very caring, compassionate, and patient with a desire to make each patients happy with their results. This will always be my dentist, and even if I live hundreds of miles away, I will fly or drive to Dentists of Independence, for all of my dental needs. If you need quality work, at an affordable price, then you need to call Dentists of Independence to set up an appointment. You will thank God you did. I do every day....Thank you so much!Always, your most grateful patient

devcleve: I’ve been here twice for dental repair. Once to fix a cavity in a front tooth and once to repair a tooth that had broken. Both times, I was able to set an appointment within a week of calling and upon arriving, they were comfortably busy with only a client or two present other than me.I was taken back immediately following check in and seen by the assistant immediately after that and the dr immediately after that and so on.I felt important and attended to. The assistants and dr were both very nice and professional. The office is clean and the equipment is modern.I was satisfied with the quality of the repair and received exactly what I’d asked for.I have no insurance, repairing the broken tooth was $280.All things considered, I will be coming back to this office for all future dental work.Thank you.

Bailey Johnson: The staff was all very kind and friendly but they quoted me over $600 for a deep cleaning for Periodontitis and to fix a filling and that was after insurance... I went to another dentist and they did the same procedures and said yes I need to floss more in the back of my teeth but found no signs of Periodontitis, not even Gingivitis, which occurs before Periodontitis... The other dentist was also able to fix my filling within one hour and covered completely by insurance. While the staff was friendly, I do not appreciate dentist's who over quote and charge for unnecessary procedures and want people to be aware of these types of scams.

Meena H: Pros: Clean, friendly, thorough. They don't mind outlining my options, answering questions, and are always polite. Reasonably priced and willing to work to correct mistakes. They worked with me as a new patient when another office used my benefits improperly. Now for theCons: operated by one dentist, Dr. Nuru who I'm coming to think is inexperienced.He's very personable, but takes longer than usual for simple things like fillings. He also did a same day crown for me that even a year later has resulted in more sensitivity than I had before the crown. The lower tooth that meets that crown has now cracked and also needs a crown. That's even after going back for a bite adjustment.Then on the other side he put a filling on a tooth that needs a crown which resulted in the filling breaking, and hours in the chair redoing it. Then it broke AGAIN!I'm quite annoyed that I spent so much time and money there when the filling (that should have been a crown) and the cracked tooth banging again the crown they did, might have been avoided by going to a more experienced dentist.

Taiton Wurtz: I haven't been to the dentist in 6+ years due to poor dental treatment and lack of compassion. BUT YALL... I have nothing, but great things to say about this group and facility. Their call center who scheduled my original appointment was even great! Front desk staff very friendly. Drs and tech were so nice and patient. They took time to talk to me in detail about my concerns/fears. I also appreciated that they talked through their procedures step by step. Will refer them to anyone in a heartbeat. I am hopeful after a few more visits like these, my fear of the dentist will be gone!
