There is nothing there that would constitute a 250k price tag there. It's a low income poor neighborhood this was a poor decision on the brothers part to build in that targeted area

Jennifer Pughsley: My request to cut the trees back because they were growing over the sidewalk was completed in 24 hours and was done very well.
Skye Bailey: I have lived here for 5 years and love it! The staff is friendly, helpful, patient, and courteous. They are super quick to take care of any maintenance issues that arise. The grounds are well kept. The neighborhood is pretty, peaceful, and safe, which makes for a nice stroll around the area to enjoy the fresh air and nature.There's also enough parking space here, which is convenient for everyone. The amenities are quite nice: swimming pools, exersize room. There are washer and dryer outlets in the apartment, which makes life much easier. You can either bring your own, or conveniently rent a set from the complex. I also adore using my fireplace during the cozy, colder months. And, I love that I have the option to paint the walls, if I choose. I still haven't done it, yet. But, I love that we can express our creativity this way and do things to "make it more our own". It's about that time of year to start getting some potted plants and flowers for the porch. On my walks, it's nice to see the creativity of others and their porch spaces, as well. I like to sit outside on the porch and watch it rain, sometimes. Or, for a peaceful interlude on a nice day, I'll sit out there and read a book, listen to the birds chirp, watch the squirrels act squirrely, or say a quick hello to the neighbors. All in all, The Mansion makes for a very comfortable, well maintained place to call home--without the yard work and home maintenance costs!

The other staff members have been very helpful as well, they answer the phones promptly and are very good at resolving any issues or concerns I might have!
Darrell Brooks: Be sure to document everything because as friendly as they portray themselves to be as soon as you decide to move out and not sign an extension they will attempt to add on every charge they can think of. You need to have everything very clear and video documented when moving out because they will falsely charge you with cleaning fees and damages.

T S: Updated...I recently posted a pretty nasty review, but I was in error regarding a fitness key deposit I thought I was double charged for. I was not and therefore they deserve an updated and better review than I initially gave. And also my apologies for that, I was mistaken.So, the pros: They do a really good job maintaining the grounds, the complex is very pretty and I really enjoy that. The amenities offered here are nice, two pools and a nice big fitness center. It has the potential to be a great place to call home.Now the cons: First, the units could use some updating and better care; pest control needs to happen more often as there are a lot of flies and spiders here; the amenities are too often out of service; but the biggest negative thing here is this thing they do where they walk around and police the parking lot putting stickers on people's cars and threatening to tow them. I've seen at least three separate people who have had to get rid of their cars entirely because they couldn't afford to update their tags. These aren't even nuisance vehicles and some people are still making payments on them. Imagine paying thousands of dollars a month to a place that threatens to take away the car that you're making payments on because the inflated prices you pay make it impossible to update your tags. That's insane. No part of that is acceptable.** Why don't you guys find a way to be more helpful than just giving people 48 hours to do the impossible? Remember, we pay you a lot of money to live here, these are our homes. If we can't park our cars here while we work to get them licensed, where do you suggest we park them? The police and the court would tell us to park them here, at our homes. Would you rather we feel pressured to use our rent money to do it? Why don't you start out giving people 30 days, then give extensions as people need them? That would be so much more helpful than 48 hour threats. Nuisance vehicles are one thing, it's acceptable to force someone to clean up a broken down mess that's making the complex look bad, but the state of someone's tags isn't even really your business.
Cristian Brown: I couldn’t recommend the mansion apartments enough, Candice was an extreme help through my entire process, from moving in to and moving out she went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I’ve lived in these apartments since a young age, and recently over the last 2 years. It’s a very nice, calm and quiet community. I never really had maintenance issues but when I did it was fixed that day with no complaints! The gym is awesome and the pools are great for the summer! It’s hard leaving this amazing place but unfortunately life takes its course and I’m in need of more space. I’d highly recommend anyone🔥
Karrington Ingram: I would have renewed my lease if I wasn't relocating states but my experience here was great! Molly W. was a great help when I decided on The Mansions, she was super kind and very helpful. Any time I had a maintenance issue, it was fixed that day or the next day so that was amazing. I stayed in building 18 and my neighbors were nice, very quiet up until the last month when kids moved in above me. The only problems I had while living there was that my catalytic converter was stolen and the security could be better. Also there were a lot of spiders! Other than that and some move out issues that were solved my experience was great.
Dorothea Kelley: I decided not to rent at The Mansions. However, this post is about how I was mislead to put down a $200.00 holding fee before I had seen the property. Just proceed cautiously and go view the property before applying or putting down any fees. If the unit that you are wanting is not available for show....THEN RUNNNNNN!!! You need to see it first. Affordable rent is now at $1200 and that is for apartments that should be going for 600-800 max. Do your research and proceed cautiously. Looks great on the outside.

Its a cute little place, the grounds are well kept, good amenities, and pretty quiet most of the time! Much better than other apartments I’ve lived in! Maintenance comes timely and office staff and management have been helpful for all questions and concerns. Definitely recommended!

Maintenance staff stole jewelry during repairs access.We were told they would repair broken stair rails and all that was done was a piece of metal was screwed on over the rust. Someone is literally going to get hurt!!!Apartment smells of mold from behind the bathroom tiles.

Liz Smith: This is the NASTIEST place to live in Independence!! I paid a deposit and application fee and waited 4 weeks for a three bedroom unit. On the day of my walk through after being handed my keys , which after Molly the leasing agent just FINISHED her walk through of the unit. I found Black mold, roach infestation, water damage cabinets. Mold and dirt on side of unit stained, rot wood on patio and more!!!! Molly tells me she didn’t see any of THIS!! I become immediately I’ll and had to go to a hotel and move all my items back into storage!! This is a awful agency-Harbor Group and the poor management. This company has law suit all over the US!! Which they had to pay tenants!! DO NOT MOVE HERE- PLEASE SEE PICTURES I TOOK ON MY MOVE IN DAY.

pantea pani: I lived at those apartments for almost 3 years, whenever I called office and try talk to manager, he was out of property.Thats not clean at all, we didn’t have laundry and dryer on our building and for most of other building was broken too, whenever I complained about that, they said use laundry from other buildings.When I was going downstairs, stairs broken and finally they fixed it after 2 months, we had to use back stairs .Cameras faked everywhere, they stole my license plate, when I called they said they are not able to look and help me.They didn’t give my deposit back at all.I don’t recommend to anyone.

Seth J: I rented here a few years ago - and after experiencing some other properties via friends and family or just renting myself, I have to say Cliffside Apartments is of higher quality when it comes to apartments.The amount of problems I've had with management and maintenance at other places has made me realize how well kept this place is.I think in my 2 years I had to have maintenance up twice in total for minor stuff(next to stuff like scheduled air filter replacements which I have found not everyone does, so Im grateful after the fact that they scheduled those)I never dealt with much noise or smells from neighbors, Management and Maintenance responds quickly. I felt like you werent overcharged for the apartment units you get.After experiencing so many issues with other places I look back at Cliffside apartments fondly. At least I never had to deal with constant flooding here, or the smell of sewage/mildew. Never had any bugs or anything really breaking down.On the rare chance they have a unit available, take it. Im slightly salty they are full right now because Id like to come back after my terrible experience at broadway ridge.
Holly Brwh: Love our place. Management and maintenance are really great! We will have been here for a year in September. Neighbors are great. Small dog friendly . All the dogs and owners I have seen are respectful.* Only thing I would change is our deck being painted and our air conditioner cleaned or replaced. Our air conditioner is probably the oldest one here though. It is the oldest one I have seen in comparison to the other apartments.

I have nothing but good things to say about them & would definitely recommend this complex to anyone looking in the Independence area. The prices are very reasonable & the apartments are spacious!

They will do anything they can to make sure the apartments are looking nice and they always have a smile on their face. Very reasonably priced and the pool is included in the price, no extra charge!! I highly recommend this apartment to anybody who wants to live in a quiet, friendly neighborhood.
kyle lesane: My family andI have lived here 3 years and it has been pretty good us. After the 1st year our rent did not go up 2nd time only went up few dollar. The place is a dated but Maintenance is aware and does an outstanding job in my opinion in fixing the problem, rent is low and with that most ppl dont understand that means thing are limited. But again anytime something happen Maintenance is there with a fix and we love that, its really quiet around here never had a crime problem. The only thing that i would hope for in the future better laundry because we go to the laundromat weekly so maybe singlestack inunit laundry in the hvac closets or newer Machines in laundry room and a few grill areas but other than that this place is A1 i would recommend ppl move here Expresly if you wanna inexpensive safe area That still nice... And if u see Josh hi five him him and dom work really hard here and have stepped up, since our last Management situation
amber webster: I've been living here almost 2 years and I love it. The area is safe. The staff/maintenance takes care of things immediately if there are any issues. The new manager Josh is great. The rent is super reasonable. There are no issues with this place. I recommend living here. I know many of my neighbors who love it here too. It's also pet friendly and doesn't charge an arm and a leg for your pets. Grounds are kept nice, and the pool is awesome when it's open. I feel safe and comfortable living here.
Cam Faz: Apartments are not well maintained. BAD obvious repairs. Expect to pay for every little crack in the place when you leave. Including blinds that were broken & “fixed” when you move in. First floor floods. No comps given to run industrial blower 3 days straight, blew the elec bill UP.. using every towel & sheet I have to stop the water from reaching furniture. No comp for laundering them. Not the next time it happened either.Ceiling leaks from the outside as there is no flashing. Wall fills with water. Black mold. Window blows out during storms.Winter winds freely blow under, through & around all windows/doors. High util bills.Dumpster is generally over flowing.DV victims are EVICTED immediately. Regardless of no recurrence.

I taken her to small claims court. Judgement in my favor. To,remove me out of COLLECTIONS. 4 Dam yrs.passed. an was still trying to collect. After judge told her .court ordered .i DIDENT owe. SOLD my INFORMATION to collection..now I'm taking her back to court sue $1,000. Ea. Yr. $4,000.Dam. Cont trust no body.better get a 2 nd. Job..
