Jennifer Pughsley: My request to cut the trees back because they were growing over the sidewalk was completed in 24 hours and was done very well.
Skye Bailey: I have lived here for 5 years and love it! The staff is friendly, helpful, patient, and courteous. They are super quick to take care of any maintenance issues that arise. The grounds are well kept. The neighborhood is pretty, peaceful, and safe, which makes for a nice stroll around the area to enjoy the fresh air and nature.There's also enough parking space here, which is convenient for everyone. The amenities are quite nice: swimming pools, exersize room. There are washer and dryer outlets in the apartment, which makes life much easier. You can either bring your own, or conveniently rent a set from the complex. I also adore using my fireplace during the cozy, colder months. And, I love that I have the option to paint the walls, if I choose. I still haven't done it, yet. But, I love that we can express our creativity this way and do things to "make it more our own". It's about that time of year to start getting some potted plants and flowers for the porch. On my walks, it's nice to see the creativity of others and their porch spaces, as well. I like to sit outside on the porch and watch it rain, sometimes. Or, for a peaceful interlude on a nice day, I'll sit out there and read a book, listen to the birds chirp, watch the squirrels act squirrely, or say a quick hello to the neighbors. All in all, The Mansion makes for a very comfortable, well maintained place to call home--without the yard work and home maintenance costs!

Felicia Bryant: The community and apartments are very nice and well cared for. The best part is the staff. Candice is an amazing help, and always willing to answer my questions. The other staff members have been very helpful as well, they answer the phones promptly and are very good at resolving any issues or concerns I might have!
Darrell Brooks: Be sure to document everything because as friendly as they portray themselves to be as soon as you decide to move out and not sign an extension they will attempt to add on every charge they can think of. You need to have everything very clear and video documented when moving out because they will falsely charge you with cleaning fees and damages.

T S: Updated...I recently posted a pretty nasty review, but I was in error regarding a fitness key deposit I thought I was double charged for. I was not and therefore they deserve an updated and better review than I initially gave. And also my apologies for that, I was mistaken.So, the pros: They do a really good job maintaining the grounds, the complex is very pretty and I really enjoy that. The amenities offered here are nice, two pools and a nice big fitness center. It has the potential to be a great place to call home.Now the cons: First, the units could use some updating and better care; pest control needs to happen more often as there are a lot of flies and spiders here; the amenities are too often out of service; but the biggest negative thing here is this thing they do where they walk around and police the parking lot putting stickers on people's cars and threatening to tow them. I've seen at least three separate people who have had to get rid of their cars entirely because they couldn't afford to update their tags. These aren't even nuisance vehicles and some people are still making payments on them. Imagine paying thousands of dollars a month to a place that threatens to take away the car that you're making payments on because the inflated prices you pay make it impossible to update your tags. That's insane. No part of that is acceptable.** Why don't you guys find a way to be more helpful than just giving people 48 hours to do the impossible? Remember, we pay you a lot of money to live here, these are our homes. If we can't park our cars here while we work to get them licensed, where do you suggest we park them? The police and the court would tell us to park them here, at our homes. Would you rather we feel pressured to use our rent money to do it? Why don't you start out giving people 30 days, then give extensions as people need them? That would be so much more helpful than 48 hour threats. Nuisance vehicles are one thing, it's acceptable to force someone to clean up a broken down mess that's making the complex look bad, but the state of someone's tags isn't even really your business.
Cristian Brown: I couldn’t recommend the mansion apartments enough, Candice was an extreme help through my entire process, from moving in to and moving out she went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I’ve lived in these apartments since a young age, and recently over the last 2 years. It’s a very nice, calm and quiet community. I never really had maintenance issues but when I did it was fixed that day with no complaints! The gym is awesome and the pools are great for the summer! It’s hard leaving this amazing place but unfortunately life takes its course and I’m in need of more space. I’d highly recommend anyone🔥
Karrington Ingram: I would have renewed my lease if I wasn't relocating states but my experience here was great! Molly W. was a great help when I decided on The Mansions, she was super kind and very helpful. Any time I had a maintenance issue, it was fixed that day or the next day so that was amazing. I stayed in building 18 and my neighbors were nice, very quiet up until the last month when kids moved in above me. The only problems I had while living there was that my catalytic converter was stolen and the security could be better. Also there were a lot of spiders! Other than that and some move out issues that were solved my experience was great.
Dorothea Kelley: I decided not to rent at The Mansions. However, this post is about how I was mislead to put down a $200.00 holding fee before I had seen the property. Just proceed cautiously and go view the property before applying or putting down any fees. If the unit that you are wanting is not available for show....THEN RUNNNNNN!!! You need to see it first. Affordable rent is now at $1200 and that is for apartments that should be going for 600-800 max. Do your research and proceed cautiously. Looks great on the outside.

Its a cute little place, the grounds are well kept, good amenities, and pretty quiet most of the time! Much better than other apartments I’ve lived in! Maintenance comes timely and office staff and management have been helpful for all questions and concerns. Definitely recommended!
Danna Leimkuehler: Beware!!Do your homework here!! Call the Independence police for the truth!! Maintenance staff stole jewelry during repairs access.We were told they would repair broken stair rails and all that was done was a piece of metal was screwed on over the rust. Someone is literally going to get hurt!!!Apartment smells of mold from behind the bathroom tiles.

Liz Smith: This is the NASTIEST place to live in Independence!! I paid a deposit and application fee and waited 4 weeks for a three bedroom unit. On the day of my walk through after being handed my keys , which after Molly the leasing agent just FINISHED her walk through of the unit. I found Black mold, roach infestation, water damage cabinets. Mold and dirt on side of unit stained, rot wood on patio and more!!!! Molly tells me she didn’t see any of THIS!! I become immediately I’ll and had to go to a hotel and move all my items back into storage!! This is a awful agency-Harbor Group and the poor management. This company has law suit all over the US!! Which they had to pay tenants!! DO NOT MOVE HERE- PLEASE SEE PICTURES I TOOK ON MY MOVE IN DAY.

LvnBest Life: One neighbor had their car stolen, another one had their car broken into, two days ago we had a drive by shooting.
Renee Z: I do not live here. I was visiting over Thanksgiving and my car was stolen from the parking lot!!!!!!!!Update: There was a drive by shooting! Ask yourself why it's cheep !
J L: Extremely unsafe. Tons of drug activity. There have been two shootings here in the last 4 months. One of which shot up the entire south side of the building on multiple floors. The police and or fire trucks are here at least once a week.
Noemi Cisneros: They changed the lock on my apartment and never let me know. I showed up from work and was locked out of my apartment and the main office was closed. apartments are nice, there renovations are ok, but not perfect my tub has a dent in it and the water flow does not go down to the drain b/c of it the water just sits in the indented tub and leaves a water stain mark and the water is dirty. Reported it and its been 2 months and still no fix. Also, they never answer the phone you can never get ahold of anyone. my hallways stink like wet dog and the parking sucks because it is so tight and never enough in the back building.

Anthony Velazquez: Literally can never get any laundry done in this place. 7 out of order washing machines and there’s a total of 10 machines in here. Drying machines are awful too sometimes they work sometimes they don’t.
Alexandra García: Son unos estafadores el 2 de noviembre aplique para tomará en rent un apartamento lo cual ellos me pidieron. 50 de depósito y 300 más se down payment y enseguida los debitaron de mi cuenta bancaria , me dijeron que se tardarían 2 días en brindar respuesta … la cual tardó 15 días y siempre con sola mentiras. Al inicio me dijeron que y estaba aprobada que sólo faltaría aprobar a mi mamá se tardaron una semana más diciendo que llamaría lo cual jamás hicieron … son uno mentirosos y estafadores a después de casi tres semanas me dicen que no fui aprobada y pregunté por mi dinero ( 300 dólares que eran reembolsables ) me dijeron que tardaría dos semanas en devolver el dinero y con cheque , es ella hora y fecha que solo me dicen mentira hoy fui L lugar y me dijeron que lo habían enviado por UPS la cual es mentira por que fui hasta una oficina y me dicen que no se a enviado nada a mi nombre y dirección . No me quieren devolver mi dinero 😡😡 es el pero lugar es un asco

josh flores: Been living here for about 4months and it's been great since I moved. Location is great to everything, from gas station, restaurants and grocery stores and Their pools in the summer. The gym is awesome and management has also been good and kind to everybody that they talk to since I've been here. Haven't had any disagreements with anybody, that alone is a plus.
Bee Metcalf: If I could give 0 stars I would . I don’t even live here I went to view an apartment today (which I had an appoint for at 3:30). There was a tiny paper on the door which I didn’t see in the beginning that said they closed at 3 today, so I was knocking and knocking . There was an older woman with white hair sitting on the phone looking at me rolling her eyes and she mouthed “look at the door” and went back to her phone call. She finally came out for a maintenance man who she previously ignored as well . I told her the situation I was in and once she figured I was a future tenant her demeanor changed . I am a firm believer in everything happening for a reason , so I will not be deciding to live here in the future. If you don’t like people that need attitude adjustments I suggest you don’t either .
Anjee Crawford: This place is a dump they have roaches galore they don't fix anything they Band-Aid it they make the outside look good for the entire apartments are being neglected it was a shooting in the hallway and nobody said anything about it they just let the bullet holes stay in the wall in the hallways the gym is never open only one pool is open and they can't keep up with their bookkeeping they always send you nose how much you're late are you having paid and when you take all your receipts up they say something goes on with the computer stay away.
S M: Don't let them fool you.! Its game after game with them.. and if that's all they treat perspective renters imagine how they'll treat you once they have you tied to lease . Better off living in public housing !

Alex Arevalo: First moved in back in April 2021 I was very pleased with the apartment as well as my neighbors only issue was parking. But since then the company changed management 3 times in a short period, I was supposed to get my carpets clean April 2022 when I renewed my least which hasn’t happened. They set up a date with me so I moved everything for this to be done. No one contacted letting me know it was canceled or that they didn’t show. Now the front office isn’t answering me. They never pick up the phone, sent emails as well and nothing. I’m very frustrated with the new management. It’s crazy how they can’t even contact me back regarding this issue with it’s been on going for MONTHS!! Also pools still haven’t opened which is something my daughter looks forward too. Definitely moving apartments where I’m able to get assistance and have the privilege of a pool. One of the main reasons I picked apartments with pools is for her to enjoy.
Lex Ludwig: Pests. Mold. Failing AC. Price gouging. Management more concerned with the "new" club house. If you move here enjoy the 15+ year old dingey appliances (not that shiny chrome the pictures show) and an all around landlord special when it comes to repairs and craftsmanship. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Take it from someone who is stuck here.
Brenda Castanon: Just moved in a couple months ago and so far everything is great the new remodeled apartment is great I love the wooden floors and the size of the rooms are great.
GRAND DUTCHESS: Good luck to the tenants that are still there. You can tell where management put up fake post and then say...Wow...we're so glad you love the place...lol we see you.... lol.... I was considering this place at one time... I know the tenants aren't lying. You guys should be ashamed of yourself putting up 5 star fake post.... at least play it off and put 3 Lol.
