M G: First, the meal wasn't served inside the Hereford House, being that it was Mother's Day it was served in the Banquet Hall adjoining to the Hotel..I'd say it was organized chaos..the food was in abundance and it was several things to choose from but because it was in Giant pans under heat a lot was overcooked and some of it wasn't good considering the price was 39$ per person. It was 4 of us and they put gratuity on our bill, which we weren't made aware of before hand. As I said several food items to choose from but not worth 39$ and additional gratuity wasn't appreciated ..also because it was 2 and 2 myself and my son...my friend and her daughter. I wouldn't do it again. Lacey Fine: Took my bf's mother here for Mother's Day. The appetizers weren't really our favorite, we felt the mushrooms were a lil too salty and the spinach dip had a weird sweetness to it but that could just be how we thought it tasted, they were present freshly and looked good. Our steaks were amazing. We got The Ribeye, Cowboy, and Prime Rib. They were all cooked perfectly rare and seasoned amazing. The waiter (Drew) was super nice and attentive even though he was so busy. Poor guy was running back and forth the whole time. He did a great job with the bread pudding fire display though! Quite fun to see and it was delicious.

Stan Conner: I am so bad at names... We ate here Monday the 17th 3pm. I overheard they were short servers. The young man that served us was so personable and very attentive to our needs/requests. The food was cooked as requested, fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and we did not feel rushed. When we were ready to leave, we did not have to wait long. As I said, our server was attentive and checked on us continually. Great food, great friendly staff, and great atmosphere. We will be back!5/14/23 Very disappointed. We will never return to any Hereford House. I reserved a table for 2. We arrived only to find a line waiting for their Mother's Day Buffet @ $40 a plate. $80 for bacon and eggs? John T: This has been on my list of places to try for quit awhile. Now I wonder why I waited to long. Was taken here for my birthday. Very nice special touch with a personalized menu with my name and happy birthday printed on it. My steak was excellent. Cooked to the right temp and a nice sear. Oysters Rockefeller were delicious. Service was on point. Can’t wait to eat here again.

Sanjay Srikantiah: I visited the 801 chophouse for Berkshire Hathaway weekend. I was lucky enough to be at the restaurant the same evening that Mr. Warren Buffett was there with his family! I thoroughly enjoyed the food, particularly the Wagyu, best cut of meat I’ve ever had in my life! I will be back at the 801 chophouse next year when I am in Omaha for the annual meeting.

Patrícia: While this restaurant wasn't quite my thing, I'd definitely recommend it to any meat lovers out there! However, if you're not a fan of meat, this might not be the place for you. Unfortunately, there weren't many non-red meat options available, so if you're looking for a spot to accommodate various dietary restrictions, this might not be the best choice. That being said, our waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful, even though we opted for non-read meat dishes. It was clear that he was passionate about the restaurant's red meat offerings, but he still made sure we had a great experience.

It was so juicy that it almost melted in your mouth. I had their seasonal strawberry pecan salad. It also had grapes and mandarin oranges. It was fantastic! Kc Stangel: Without doubt the "ultimate" steakhouse. Choice of great cuts of meat... Well prepared to order... and served by a friendly staff. For all that you get, the prices are very reasonable. I ordered their Porterhouse. I got 2 meals out of it. I was not embarrassed to ask for a "doggie bag" (and it wasn't for the dog)! My wife and I have been here twice... I'm sure there will be a 3rd and beyond.

Armita: I had dinner in this restaurant for a friends birthday. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staffs were super friendly. So many amazing stuff to choice from. Since we were a big group, I had a chance to try a few different dish and all of them were tasty. The salmon was my absolute favorite. It was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. This is without a doubt one of the best high end restaurant in Kansas City area.
