Deals Thrift Mart: what do users think?
Jeff Simmons: Great for a good laugh - just look at some of the prices. Definition of a “Grift” store. Pricing items crazy high so they sit on the shelf for months until they become destroyed and unrecognizable. Some prices :Worn out shoes - $20+Electronics (untested) - $30+Basic Kids Toys - $10+
Jessica: Great deals and prices!! I’d go here over goodwill any day
Alyssa Rose: Clothes were 50% off today so that was a bonus. Had lots of cute Halloween costumes for kiddos.
Esme Abarca: Very overpriced for a thrift store and very unorganized stuff everywhere otherwise there is Kind staff. I wouldn’t suggest a friend to go.
Rule 64: What a fun experience! You can get good and lost here. We will most certainly return. The store has a nice layout. The items are priced fairly. We definitely found more than a few gems from our trip. The employees seem very happy to be here. Keep up the good work 👏
Brandon Ricks: I loved this place good for anybody looking for something cool
Amber Lindsey: Not very organized, and everything felt/smelt pretty dirty. It was a quick in and out trip for me, won’t be back.
Diver Dean: I started coming here about 2 years ago. The upkeep on the store and the prices got worse and worse. To the point I stopped coming altogether. About 4 months ago I was driving by and decided, what the heck and stopped in. The place still looked a bit rough, but was better. I spent about an hour browsing and ended getting a few things. I started popping in pretty regularly, and started noticing that each time the place looked better and better. I think they have a new manager that is turning the whole place around. I now stop in a few times per week. The prices are on point for a thrift store, and I always find a treasure or 10.
Scott Cohen: Lots of items and good prices but organization is a little rough.
Pixxy Haze: The store has plenty of treasures to search for. The prices are REAL thrift store prices not gouged prices like most of them are these days. The owners and employees are super friendly and nice. It's a little crowded but I don't mind.
Billy Joel (Bee): Ton of good finds of all kinds! New merch out daily. Donations excepted, but not picked up. No public bathroom in the whole strip. I think CDC still won't allow us to let u try on clothes. Store hours 10am-7pm
Becca Belmont: This store has a ton of things. The store is very big and they still have to much stuff for the size of the store. You can see carts and boxes full of stuff that needs to be out out but there is already stuff just stacked on top of other stuff that you may want to but but you will never find it. The prices were decent. I was surprised by how high a few things were. If I can but the same thing brand new for $5.00 I am not going to pay $6.50 for it in used condition at a thrift store. I have seen the owner go out of her way to be rude to people. I have seen her be very pushy. BUT I HAVE ALSO SEEN HER GO OUT IF HER WAY TO HELP PEOPLE AND ALSO OFFER ITEMS AT A LOWER PRICE WHEN SIMEONE MAY NOT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO PAY FOR WHAT THEY WANT. THE TEENAGE GIRL THAT WORKS THERE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL THO.
Cherish Odell: I was concerned about several things. 1) If there was ever a fire you’re toast. Every isle I went down I had to stop and move something out of my way to get through. Today 2/9/2020 A large tred mill was just laying on the floor blocking an isle along with a grill. 2) The amount of (broken/missing parts/trash vs quality used items is slim) this place really really really needs to get organized you can’t even get to the register there’s so much stuff blocking it.
Alayna Mazzeffe: Great experience!
Joe Mazzeffe: The deals were great and the service was even better
Brook Rychnovsky: wonderful people, great store!
Johnny Martino: Good prices wonderful helpful people and locally owned
Leanna Mazzeffe: great people! good deals
Tina Penn: Prices are more thrifty with the new ownership. The people are friendly. I will shop here more often.
Anthony Amador: Good deals
Ronald Kroeger: clean nice! reasonable

Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph: what do users think?
Cheri Runk: Very nice staff that helps you with whatever you ask. Quick process when getting food and hygiene products. Also gave me lots of good resources for other programs. Every one there is very friendly. Not open on Fridays though.
Schavon Sayles: Been on hold since 830am still never answered been calling for weeks now like make it make since
cynthia mcfadin: Employment workshop with Deann is awesome. She's a great person. She has helped so many of my clients
Alec Fuhrman: Sweet.
Donald Leger: So I reached out to Catholic charities. I did so to assist an elderly couple that I have befriended recently. That I have a problem paying their utility bills.. After Being on hold for 26 minutes finally some lady named Kelly answers the phone. I introduced myself. I attempt to ask her some questions before I'm rudely cut off and Spoken over. Then I am told that all of the funds at 11:40 in the morning have been delegated or allocated for today so therefore I will need to call back. Next Tuesday. I ask Kelly how are the funds dispersed are they daily? Is there a special time that you You allocate funds. Just to receive some information So that I could assist my friends so is what I now have discovered? Is that Catholic charities really isn't in help at all? So I decided to get onto the website and see how much Catholic charities produces are is donated for year and I would recommend people go do that and then let's see how much the salaries are for the rude people answer in the phone.
LaRon Nolden: I recommend so many people to this place ..My phone died and I nicely asked the lady at the front desk can she please call my grandmother and she was very rude and said absolutely not...Whole time I have a broken foot and was exhausted..After already having a bad day she definitely made it worst...I will never ever recommend that place to anyone
Bernadette Yeakey: There hard to get of people at this place to get any help
Shawn Reed: very nice people. got lots of good info for me and friends and family. didn't have to wait in lobby long as a walk in either
Ezriyah SCOTT: Help with alot of different things
Lisa Smith: My experience with Catholic Charities today brought me to tears to receive the help from them today for things that I went for and also things that I didn't go there for but needed and they offered and gave, wow I've been wanting this for years since I always give and never receive and today I received a Blessing and for that I Thank Everyone of you 🙏 😊. Be Blessed
Melody Mccully: Kind and comfortable
Andi Lightle: Its awesome
Greg Merrick: You are reallocating
Kristin Andrades: Catholic Charities will help in many different ways if you are struggling. View the website of the one closest to your area because they all have similar but different services by location . They will ask for an picture ID and ask how many is in your household as well as the date of birth of each family member you add. They also have bread free daily. Let someone you know who needs assistance with food or the other services offered aboutnCatholic Charities, it is wonderful resource.
keesha triplett: I Had horrible experience today going to the Catholic Charities office. I had an appointment, they did not explain we would be handling my business in front of others waiting in the lobby. So if you need help who cares about confidentiality! The ladies at the front desk were rude and insensitive to me letting them know I was not understanding the process and the paperwork. They dismissed me and my frustration several times as I advised them I was unclear as to what the process is and explain to me the info they needed. I left there feeling confused, frustrated and that I may need to look elsewhere for help. They definitely kept hounding me to complete a survey....before I completed anything...asking if I felt treated well and if I felt helped. All questions on that survey I entered "Strongly Disagree "!!!! Lucky for them I'm not a secret shopper. They get a low grade today. Definitely not what I expected from Catholic Charities!
dashaun Kids ross: Love their help
kim mcintire: These are kind caring people
Charlotte Johnson: Helped me when I needed it, but not enough for 7 people.
KEN SIMARD: Catholic Charities is very helpful and has a lot of resources, referrals and a lot of helpful information. They can and usually do do their best to help their client and the people of the community Blessed Be... 🙂👍
Dwayne Gentry: They don't give you squat

TurnStyles Thrift: what do users think?
Jane Idlewine: They've got a lot of nice stuff in here! :)
cliff reser: had the day to explore ! went to TURÑSTYLES THRIFT on 87th st. O.P.KS.WHAT A NICE STORE WITH QUALITY PRODUCT. AND PRICING BEST IN METRO AREA. BY FAR!!EMPLOYEES: Are top notchVery kind, they all seem to be very knowledgeable about their store, and products. where everything has down home pricing.
Jasmine Boylan: Check the DVD cases! They put tape around the dvd cases to keep them closed, so I wrongfully assumed a disc would be included. Got home and the container had no dvd disc! Called the store last week to ask for a refund, but never heard back. It was only a couple bucks, but it still feels dishonest so I won't be returning and will be warning others about this place.
David W: A great thrift store supporting those that are underprivileged in our area. Good deals to be found.
Anna Geis: LOVE
Amy Carr: Tons of selection. Low prices and percentage of proceeds does go to help families through catholic charities. Something for the whole family can be found there. One of my favorite thrift stores in kc
Sandy Hollingsworth: Great Thrift Store
Rosa Vega (Rice): Very good second hand stuff
Mary Grace Boreen: Turn Styles Thrift is located along 87th Street in Overland Park, KS. It was clean, well organized and contained mostly clothes for individuals of all ages, shoes, some furniture, sparce kitchenware, some framed art and misc. It is not Disabled Accessible. 7-13-2022.
luke d. cruz: I needed some shirts in that store so when I went there, it was normal but as I was shopping this old lady was following me. I know that because when I tried going to an aisle like baby clothes to see if she’s actually following me, she was making his way there as well. I told her if you need something and she was being passive aggressive so then I became a little mad that she was following me. Then this old lady started saying some slurs to me (I am Mexican) and it was obnoxious. I left that store and to anyone out there, don’t shop there. It was giving racially motivated there.
mudkipfan03: So my daughter and I are a big fan of pokemon and my daughter found a cute picture of Charmander on a shirt and she wanted it. We went up to the counter and gave it to the cashier. After we paid of it, the cashier was called across the store. And before my daughter and I left, I think I heard some harsh words thrown at the cashier. And now that I think about it, that place gave me a weird vibes, not gonna lie. As a mother of 2 daughters, I think my motherly instincts was off that day. I think you guys should not shop there at all. I think the workers are being mistreated there.
ptero-redactyl billybob: I was shopping there and I saw some kids being mistreated there. I tried stopping them but I was kicked out of the store. Do not shop there at all.
Brett Brock: This place is a mess! Everything about it, the staff, the customer service, everything! This place shouldn’t be called Turnstyles Thrift it should be called the circus because it’s a bunch of clowns working here!! 🤡
Shawn: This place is overworking kids from a summer volunteer program. Also with bad management forcing the kids to work harder. Please do not go to this place, horrible customer service!
David Shelton: I been going there for years.Great place.
Ashley Martin: First time coming here in years and I won't be coming back. The lady at the registers was just awful. Those lotions were not marked they were in a Easter basket that was full of them they are like samples and she was very nasty to me bc they weren't marked like that's not my problem I don't work there. Also I think they are pretty expensive for a USED CLOTHING store.
Jessie Mehl: A great thrift store The staff are helpful and friendly, and the prices aren't ridiculous like they are at Goodwill. A family with a reduced income can actually find some good deals here. They have two more in the KC area and of the three this is the one I like the best.
Shawn Wood (X): Drove 20 mins and they aren't open Google 4/18/22 said they are open and the front door also said they are open but lights off and locked
marbin montejo usa: Genial de calidad, buen precio
Nathaniel Beck: They priced a Wii for $150…that’s one of the most pathetic things I’ve ever seen thrifting
Michelle Smith: Love to shop there. Great deals daily. Love the Tuesday sales as well as tge 1/2 off color tag sales too.

TurnStyles Thrift: what do users think?
M Rusch: I just visited to drop off some donations. Easy to do and there was no wait. Just ask for a receipt if you need it for tax purposes. Unfortunately I didn't have time to go shopping this time.
Joi Svezia: The store is clean and well organized, and the employees/volunteers are eager to assist. Unfortunately, brands they consider “designer”, no matter the condition or cleanliness, are often marked up to nearly what they cost brand new. Just because a piece is Vineyard Vines, Lululemon, North Face or Patagonia, doesn’t mean its price should automatically be elevated. I wish they would take into consideration the individual piece’s age, wear, use, and cleanliness. The other Turnstyles in the area don’t seem to mark up clothing like this particular store does.
Zerri Schneider: Good and cheap clothing. However, they have managed to misgender my friends both times we've gone there when buying feminine clothing.
Dubya Family: One of the best thrift shops I. The KC metro area. Everything is clean and well organized. Prices are reasonable, and their purse lady does an amazing job keeping everything priced.
Kaitlin Alexandra: Limited selection of baby clothes (1.29 onesies). Best selection of stylish maternity wear I've seen and I've been to a lot of thrift stores. Dressing rooms closed- can try on in the bathroom however.
Erika Ashley-Atkins Darling: There are as many helpers as there are shoppers, a refreshing difference from most thrift stores. It's a big store with good deals.
Eunice Aguilar: Really nice prices
natalie: Found 3 nice mens athletic shirts in the men’s section. Cashier took the items from me at checkout and went off to talk with another women at checkout. She then refused to sell the items to me because they needed to reprice them higher. When I offered to pay a higher price they said they wouldn’t sell them to me that day because they don’t do pricing. Staff was very rude and accusatory towards me for their mistake. Don’t think I’ll return to this thrift store, they’ve gotten just as bad as goodwill.
MaryAnne Mahurin: I used to love this thrift store but unfortunately No longer! They don't open their dressing rooms, and how can you buy a pair of jeans without trying them on?? And the lady working today was RUDE. I drive 30 minutes to get there...can't reasonably return if something doesn't fit. Save yourself the aggravation and go to Blessings or just about any other thrift.
Rick Leonardo: Always find something I like !! Nice people also !
Patrick Vanstrom: Don’t go here. It’s for ME ONLY. Haha! But seriously, love this store and the service. They have a good selection and are ran by very friendly people!
Gwenda Bruhn: Great place to shop and very high end store with pleasant help.
Ebony Woods: I love coming to this store, everyone is so warm and you can find nice things here
teri a: Better than Goodwill! Clothes are more reasonably priced. Quality items!
Nathan Williams: I am a big time thrift store shopper and this is on of my favorites great staff great prices and great special sale days I am there at least twice a week, see you there 😉
Andrew Kraynek: Looks good but pretty high prices for a thrift store, something like half-off retail prices for the items I looked at, some things same prices as Walmart.
Melody McIntosh: Prices reasonable & very nicely displayed!Everything is kept clean and staff friendly.I will definitely go back.
Nikki C: Really like this thrift store! Usually I don't like shopping at thrift stores because there is too much going on but this one is well organized and fairly priced in comparison to other places I've been. I live pretty close and now it's a regular thing to do a couple times a month!
Judith Orand: Lady at checkout was rude. Making rude comments about other community's in area. Believe me that store is not all that.
The Phoenix: Amazing people work here! They do a great job keeping up! Also they except plastic bags and news paper they are ran by a church to my understanding and they help people
Emily Raymond: The establishment was very clean and well-organized, with friendly staff and a great selection of clothing for all occasions. Will definitely be returning!

Hillcrest Thrift Shop- Picture Hills: what do users think?
Todd Jr Nave: This thrift store is huge. We went about 30 minutes before closing and I barely made it half way through the store before having to make my way to the front. I found some awesome dress shirts that appeared brand new, for only $6.50 each. This is definitely a place worth bringing the family and would be fun to look through every few weeks.
sjstsarah: Best thrift store around, I find so many treasures (at great prices) each time and everyone working there is super friendly. I’d say this is the best location out of Liberty and the other two locations down the hill.
Russell Primeaux: Nice place to browse. With possibilities abound.
Nancy Green: Great sales today! Sad that the rewards program is discontinued.
Ramon Armendariz: Puedes comprar ropa calzado muebles herramienta todo de segunda mano a muy buen precio
John Geiger: Found a used pair of computer speakers here. The store is well laid out. Would recommend for used clothing, kitchen items and furniture.
Christopher Yoder: One of the best thrift shops in the northland. They have half priced clothes on Wednesdays. They always keep the place very clean which most thrift places aren't as clean as this place. The staff there are really friendly. They also usually have pretty good furniture.
A F: Always find good things here. Large selection. Great prices!
Charles Wheeler: Good finds. Good staff
Akimi Weller: Love their Wednesday deal 50% all clothing. Sadly they took away their loyalty program. Lots of options from furniture, women's clothing, shoes, kids clothing, toys, men's clothing, books, blankets, pillows, seasonal items, pet items, household items, jewelry, purses, everything !
Christopher Acosta: Great to be back thrifting again.
Dr. Tara R. Nesbitt: There are some really nice gems here!
Jenna Carlock: One of my favorite thrift stores, clean and organized!
Laurel Hoog: Amazing thrift store. Efficient cashiers. Well laid out floor and very good prices.
Bryan Richmond: Good prices and good people
Jamie Tilden: I loved this store. They have everything and still keep it tidy.
Sheryl Dinkel: Everything is well organized and clean and typically the volunteers are pretty helpful. 😁
Toni Dierks: I was trying to shop here tonight, I come here every Wednesday and I came a half hour before closing. Between the times of having 15-10 minutes to shop, I was rudely asked by an employee 3 times if I was finished shopping, she kept following me and asking me even though there were other shoppers still shopping “but I was the only one.” I felt very uncomfortable and like I was being harassed. I was just trying to mind my own business and pick out some clothes for an important event tomorrow. Because of how rude the employee was, I put my stuff back and I didn’t purchase anything. I love shopping here, and supporting the mission, but I’ve never been treated that way before ever. Questioning coming back.
Brian: They always have a great selection and friendly staff and it is a very clean and well kept store.
sharon strathman: Went with friend to find nice furiture. She found a very nice Sofa-sleeper and a Love seats set for wonerful price!!!!!
Dee Rader: The volunteers here are fabulous and treat you like family.
