Scott Robison: Has the feel of the old mom and pop grocery stores of the past but lately the prices are more like that overpriced, unnavigatable layout loving, nose in the air competitor known as way too HyVee. If you can't beat their prices there's something definitely wrong. You have aged buildings, less costly employees and less selection so it's not like you're over your head in overhead. Drop your prices and watch the average middle class families struggling to get by spend their food dollars at your stores instead of SkyHyVee.I like Mckeever's Price Chopper but I think you need to sharpen the edge of that Chopper before those prices get out of hand.

Brooklyn Kleeman: I come here pretty frequently with Instacart and while I don’t understand the layout of the store at all, the people are friendly and helpful. I will say, they could use some training for their cashiers and baggers. I’ve had them bag fresh fruit with raw meat and I’ve had cans stacked in my cart on top of noodles and bread. Big no nos for front end customer service.

I spoke with Regina and explained my situation and what I wanted. I asked if a picture could be sent to me after the arrangement was completed, since I would not be able to attend the funeral. She said that would be no problem. Today, I got the picture as promised. I am so happy with not only the arrangement but with the customer service that I received. Their selection has greatly expanded in the last few years and, even though you still may need to make another stop to get everything in your list, the savings are well worth it.Stock availability has fallen off quite a bit recently, so stock up on staple items. Also, if you aren't in the habit of bringing your own bags, it's definitely time to start. They're often completely out of shopping bags.

Craig Burke: Turning left into the parking lot when you are going East on Independence Ave is dangerous. I wish they would take those odd islands out at the entrance, I think that would make it much safer. The way the entrance is angled, I can't really tell if you are even supposed to turn left. I've tried turning left onto Winner Rd and there is no turn lane or turn arrow, and on busy days when there are people waiting in the West bound turn lane they make it hard to see if cars are coming and the light turns red fast, but not for Westbound as they get a turn arrow, so you are kinda stuck out in the intersection.
