Wes Ryan: A review from someone passing through:We were on our way up north, passing through KC, and decided to stop for some coffee and lunch. A bit bored of Starbucks and chain fare, my wife found this interesting spot a little out the way. It's about a 5 minute drive from the interstate if you're a traveler like us, but very much worth it.What we found was more than a coffee shop. It was a community center supporting diversity, belonging, and goodwill. I wish that we came through this area more often so that I could say we'll be back soon. The pressed sandwich was delicious and the cold brew was perfect.Thank you Blendwell staff for a very enjoyable pit stop.

The cafe is part of the Community Service League that helps citizens in need in the Independence area. They have seasonal drinks, pastries & monthly celebrations: Black history month, book readings, meet the author, live music etc.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Play area with puzzles and toys.Parking: Very large parking lot. Drive thru also available.Wheelchair accessibility: Enter through the east door for wheelchair access.

Morgan L: Requested a latte, but received iced 2%, and syrup flavoring without espresso.Environment is quiet, and lacks ambience. Barista was nice, but did not say very much at all.
Kyle Bales: Great little coffee house. Limited variety of drinks but the pumpkin muffin and large peppermint mocha for $4 can't be beat. I'll drive the extra miles for this anytime. Kylie is very friendly.

Hannah Wilson: 11th Street Coffee House is a cute little coffee shop is in the middle of a new housing complex. Both times I have been there the cashier's were very friendly! There are a few seats indoors at a short bar and a few tables outdoors as well. What I like about this coffee shop is it's simple and has good vibes. They have a simple menu of about five items all $3 or less, no tax. Coffees are brewed from a machine so it's not barista made however for the price it's a good value. They have a variety of homemade treats all for only $1. Overall the only thing I would add is an option to have a coffee in a mug versus all takeaway cups. For future I will be mindful to bring my own takeaway cup to prevent wasteful cups. Recommend this shop!
