Jared Peterson: I went on busy Friday night. I ordered my food around 7:30 and didn’t get it until 8:15. The pickup time was 7:49. I understand people get busy and restaurants get behind from time to time. I was apologized to once for sitting in their waiting for over 25 minutes and it wasn’t direct ti me just the lazy manager yelling sorry to the group. I was never offered a free beverage to drink while I waited. Never a free bag of chips. Then I watched the manager have a conversation with what looked to be one of his buddies for at least 5-8 minutes while his staff was drowned trying to keep up and tables covered with dirty plates.As a business owner myself I found it quite disgusting to watch this manager completely mismanage the situation and let his staff fail while he slacked off. Dr. Daddy: Super helpful hometown butcher who knows his stuff. Always great quality and friendly service. I make separate trips here just to buy all my meat. Great little store. Edit, we stopped going here. I don't know what changed in the store but we buy 10 lbs of frozen beef at a time to save trips and the last 2 times the beef was brown and smelled. After thawing and used the same day it had turned and was bad. It had to have turned before it was frozen.

Jason Ballou: I brought my car in for an oil change. When they finished, for no apparent reason, they turned on my headligit's and left them on for several hours draining and damaging the battery. As a result of the damage, the battery would no longer take a charge or even allow you to jump it. They refused to acknowledge any responsibility, insisted that the battery must have been damaged before I brought it in and that they could not have possibly damaged it by fully draining the battery. I pointed out that the manufacturer's website specifically says that fully draining the battery will damage it. They still refused to acknowledge any fault and said that all they could do was show me another battery. This took an hour and a 1/2 from the time that I arrived to pick up my car and resulted in me not being able to pick up the dinner than I ordered for my family and myself. Not only did they screw me over on the battery that they damaged, but they also screwed me over on the meal that I could not get a refund for because the restaurant closed while I was waiting for them to get this fixed.

And another thing how is it the same thing at a different location is 10 dollars higher at the one in blue springs ? These are the things that make you wonder same vendor Walmart is not individually owned but prices are different . But anyhow you get to be yourself here you don't have to act better then anyone else here .
Adrian Klein: Entire store smelled like body odor. Used the self check and the bags REEKED of BO. We had to hand wash everything we bought after coming home because it caused our entire purchase to smell. We're literally wondering if someone died on the truck that had the bags or maybe a super smelly person napped on the shipment of bags?? Either way, something's horribly stinky.

Jaz: Annoying lane 10 or 11 is the only register you can go to for tobacco and alcohol yet you have people bringing full carts and taking forever. Why not just make a lane ONLY for those products no one wants to wait 10+ minutes in line because there no limit and people don’t care about others needs!

J W: I spent a good 30 minutes calling all the butcher/meat markets in town trying to find the best deal on pork fat and rate for meat smoking. Never heard of Madison but figured it was worth a shot. Even though they didn't have pork fat they could order some or they had pork butt. I figured it was be out of my budget for how much venison I had but I asked for the price on both. Surprisingly the pork butt was cheaper then everyone else's pork fat and it was in stock. It was a great chunk of meat and mixed well for my sausage. I also used Madisons to smoke the sausage and its the best smoked meat I've have. And it was half the price of the other meat markets in town!And they have 2 for $3 buffalo patties that are really good.
Michael Blankowski: Great fresh local meats. A great selection of accessories, sausages. Don't miss one of their sandwiches, huge and stuffed with fresh sliced deli meats. I only wish they had more bread selection, a roll option would be awesome.

ZPV: For starters, I give this place 10 stars for the food alone. The sandwiches are unbelievably good. But, interestingly enough I've never been there. I've been stuck in long-term care for the last 2 months and I don't even live in Kansas city. My buddy went there to pick up sandwiches. The second time he went there he got the talking to the owner and told him about my situation. The owner sent me a few extra things and it really made my day! To sum it all up. The food is awesome! I'm not from Kansas City and I'm stuck in the long-term care for a bit and a stranger went out of his way to be empathetic and do something to make my time better. Thank you!

Alan Cooke: My wife and I tried this place today with our two kids. The food was terrific, maybe the best sandwich I've ever had. My three year old son got their PB&J and just said, "wow" after his first bite. I got their club and it was outstanding. They wear gloves and actually try to make you a real sandwich, their ingredients were excellent. Their cuts of meat also looked really good. We will definitely be back. Sides are deli style sides, pasta salad, Coleslaw or chips. Nice thick napkins come with the plasticware. Drink options were bottled sodas. Only disappointment was lack of single portion desserts. I wanted a cookie or brownie but I loved my sandwich and will go back.
