Brett Nelson: Lot's of vendors with a wide variety.
Jean Schmitt: This place was poorly planned by the city. Parking is practically non-existent, especially if anything else is happening on the square. There is a lack of vendors due to the extremely high prices the vendors have to pay to set up. They, in turn, have to charge an exorbitant price to the customer to make any profit. Should have left the whole place in the courthouse parking lot.

Donna Thompson: I just spoke to Beth the manager to make her aware that one of her cashiers would not sell a bottle of wine to my friend from Kansas, but allowed him to purchase groceries. She said that was their policy. Beth had every excuse, said it must have been an issue with my friends license…WHICH IS VALID . Kept talking over me. What happened to good customer service ! Marsha Oldham: I went in to Apple market to buy my lottery tickets today. The machine would not take my play slips. I was a little frustrated because this is not the first time that I have went in there to buy tickets and had the same problem. The lady treated me like I was a child and needed to be reprimanded because she said I was a “little bit loud”voicing my frustration. So I went straight up the street to Hy-Vee and gave the lady the same slips. They went straight through the machine and I bought my tickets with no problem. Just like I do every week. I’d like to make the point that if there is something wrong with your lottery machine, get someone to fix it so that you do not provide such poor customer service in the future

If you bump into me, I may smile and talk to you for a bit but you're taking a chance either way. All I can say is don't be in a hurry when you shop and start your shopping before you even leave the house. If you do slow down you might even amuse yourself. I found some Cajun seasoning today called "Slap Your Mama" brand. WOW!!!It was a bit more expensive than the one I bought but the one I bought is tried and true. Anyway try to enjoy yourself when you shop. It's got to be done so you might as well have fun doing it.

On top of that the way this store is set up is entirely disorganized and it took me a third as long as it normally does to shop here. Bea Chanhthakoummane: The staff there is super friendly. Thier meat dept staff are awesome!! Service with a smile on a daily. It's always a pleasure to shop at this location.
Patricia Pearson: I was shocked to learn the store no longer provides hand held baskets for shopping! Was told they have small carts if any might be available. Well...I see you have to go to the back of the store to find a small cart which is a bit odd. Oh well, I will still go there because it's close to home.

Alex West: Been going to this price chopper for over 10 years always had a decent experience until today. I have ALWAYS used the self checkout lane since they put it in as it is simply what I am comfortable with and I like to keep track of the cost as I scan it. I have even done this multiple times with FULL CARTS. Today however I was told that I could not use the self checkout because its the “express lane” and two cashiers were open so i have to go over there… excuse me but there was a total of one other customer in the store i am not sure how I would be holding up the express lane when my cart was not even half full. I am assuming because I am young the old lady working the self checkout probably profiled me assuming i was going to steal and blatantly embarrassed me raising her voice at me in front of the other customer near by and the employees - which i have NEVER stolen anything in my life. I am pretty sure this is the second time this woman has tried to turn me away from self checkout. Honestly major turn off that makes me cringe. Why have self checkout if you cant use it???? Definitely don’t recommend making your customers feel like criminals when they aren't. The older woman who was working self checkout 9/11/22 around 7:30 needs an evaluation and a lesson in customer service.
Angleique Jungmeyer: One checkout person with no bagger, older man who 'takes his time.' Young man sweeping around registers, two ladies standing in self-checkout area, chit-chatting. Instead of waiting in the older man's growing line, we decided we'd use self checkout. Of course, the register keeps yelling at us because we're trying to bag our things. The ladies chit chatting stop long enough to tell us to not touch our things. Then take a rude tone and tell it's really 'Express' and not meant for full orders. So we point out that there is only one lane open and several customers waiting. Also, sign says 'Express/Self-Check' which generally means either/or. Maybe if less people were doing busy work or chit-chatting, another lane would've been open and it wouldn't have been an issue. It was all I could do to keep my husband from just walking away and leaving our things after the rude and snooty tone the lady took. We go here nearly every week, but will be rethinking our choices.

Ibrahim: I didn't give 5 stars because of the Tuesday chicken meal.it used to be awesome but today it was overcooked, dry with no flavor, even the corn was not good. We used to enjoy picking that up on Tuesdays.As for the other 99% of the store, it's always stocked up, prices are reasonable and the employees are nice and friendly. That's what had kept us coming back for 18 years.

G GS: Surprised to see such a high rating for this location! Went in at 7:20 on a Tuesday morning. They were out of everying!! Could not even find hamburger. Of course, the people in the meat department were too busy talking to each other to acknowledge me. I'm sure it was there somewhere... But it was not under the beef sign! Could not find most of the items I was looking for, but employees were chatting it up with each other. I wandered around aimlessly, being ignored completely, for about 15 minutes before I finally just walked out. Will go to Hy-Vee from now on! They get two stars because the store was very clean.
