CorePower Yoga: what do users think?
Harry Engel: Amazing staff!
Kate Beem: Really great studio and beautiful space! Instructors are so encouraging!
francesca f: Centro yoga molto bello e pulito, tutti professionali
Anne Tierney: The instructors are so helpful and encouraging.
Kate McCandless: Love the variety of classes at all hours of the day and evening. Sculpt for cardio and weight training, and various level yoga classes. I never thought I'd do hot yoga but now I'm pretty addicted! It's so good for pain, joints and taking that shower (the locker room provides) afterwards is glorious. The staff is so kind and friendly. The space is clean. There are Core Powers all over the country so you can take classes if you travel.
Christopher Russett: Madi and Kristine are amazing! Excellent teachers :)
Kendrea White: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityKrissy is an excellent instructor and very passionate about her practice and clientele.
Rebecca Tede: They randomly charged me for a membership I had cancelled months prior. When I emailed them about this, they replied with a generic email, and then altogether stopped responding to me. I was very specific in my email about the charge, and the one response I received did not mention helping me with the charge. I also waited on hold for 10 minutes just to get hung up on 3 times.
Krista Reynolds: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
Laura Wiltshire: Love the instructors here - always emitting great energy, leading varied flows for a great workout.
Ivan Gonzalez: This is my favorite yoga studio in the Kansas City area. The instructors are great and I love the vibe in this place. But most important of all are the benefits that practicing yoga has had on my overall physical and mental health. I feel more energized and focused when I practice regularly. I love it!
Sandy Gray: Positive:Professionalism
Chelsea Johnsen: I just had the absolute best yoga class with Carlie. She is such an incredible teacher and her flows are beautiful bootykickers! Definitely recommend taking her classes, I’m only in town for a little while longer but will be back. Such a great intro into CorePower and my first in person class since COVID, felt safe comfortable and welcomed—and got a really good sweat on!
Theresa McGraw: I cherish my yoga community so much! I appreciate the great lengths the instructors and manager take to keep people safe and grounded during the pandemic. High quality instruction provided by the best humans around!
Lauren Gonzalez: Over the last few months, I have regularly been attending yoga sculpt classes instructed by Ashlyn Jumpponen. Her enthusiastic energy keeps the entire class engaged and motivated. Ashlyn regularly changes her class sequences and playlists. This keeps me excited to attend classes. Since taking her classes, I feel more toned and am consistently meeting my calorie burn goals each class. Moreover, in general, great staff, great classes, and the studio is going out of their way to create a safe environment for members to continue working out during the pandemic (i.e. mask requirement, temperature checks).
Cody Bradley: Everyone here is great! Nice facilities. Also Mahomes & Brittany come here. So.
Sarah Daniel: I love the atmosphere. I’m not super skilled with yoga (yet) and this is a space where I feel safe to explore my practice - never judged for trying and failing an up-level and super encouraged when I succeed.
c l: Went to the monthly free yoga they offer at True Food Kitchen in Country Club Plaza. Great opportunity to try their yoga for free—they integrate core / abs work towards the end of the flow session. Lots of modification options for all levels, & they offer hands-on help if you want it. Also, we got a discount on our brunch that morning since we attended. Awesome way to spend a morning!
Heidi Whitehill: The instructors are kinds and knowledgeable. The studio is clean and smells fresh. I enjoyed the classes that I took at this location.
Amanda Simoniello: Been coming here off and on for years, used to be my favorite place to be and unwind. I am not like all of you, I cannot come inside from a 90 degree + humidity day and be put in a room with other hot sweaty bodies, and and expected to move at a fast pace and " breathe " how can anyone manage? No one complains, and no one seems to care about the opinion of 1 person. They used to offer an array of classes fit to everyone's abilities and schedule. Well I have been in a car accident with the past year and hurt my back so I can't take your sculpt classes anymore and the only other class you offer c2 has become as hot as what HPF USED be... it's ridiculous, the ONLY non heated class occures during 1:30 , when MOST people work during the day, how am I supposed to make it to the only non heated class you offer at such an inconvenient time, and then tell me you have no control over it... you can control the temperature.. I'm tired of dishing out money to be miserable, this is not relaxing and mindful. Its awful

Sumits Yoga KC: what do users think?
Phillip Harrison: I keep going back to Sumits! I have tried many "others" in the KC area.
Karl Koelle: New to yoga. They are friendly, welcoming, and reassuring every moment. It's tougher than you think but more approachable at the same time. Sumit60 is a fantastic experience.
Alyssa: Highly recommend Calley and her hot 60 or 90 bikram style yoga class - Can’t speak for any other classes or teachers because I only go to Calley’s class! She’s great - you will feel great after and will get one hell of a workout!
Dan Holmes: The Sumits 60 flow is a consistent experience that is challenging and meditative. You will sweat. You will work as hard as you want. Mixed with a variety of other classes and exceptional and caring instructors make this a great studio for your practice.
Shawn Sanem: Hot yoga with Calley is absolutely a lifesaver. Fixed the lower back issues that my chiropractor was treating. So many other benefits. Try it!
Shannon Brand: I just started in December. I am an ex group fitness instructor (18 years)a retired bikini competitor and am a NASM certified pt. I started because I was lacking a lot of flexibility and stretching in my current training and needed to add that to my regimen. On top of that my lower back and hamstrings are always tight. My goal was to practice a couple of times a week but I have gotten hooked and come a lot more often. I would really like to commend all the instructors on such great classes. Their humility and kindness and non judgmental nature are truly appreciated. As an ex instructor myself I know how difficult it is to make everyone happy and to handle so many different personalities in a room. I've been to many different studios in the metro area and this is the only one I have felt comfortable in. Thank you for adding a whole new dimension into what I do and thanks to all for running such a great ship.
christine hrdy: I've had been attending yoga at this studio for over 5 years. The instructors are fantastic and really care about each individual student. They have a great variety of classes... something for everyone!
Austin Andersen: Best Place Ever for Hot Yoga
Jason Hardy: Great instructors! Everyone is so nice. Great, clean facility. Several class options every day.
mrkcbill1: I have been practicing yoga for 6 years. If you enjoy practicing in a Hot room, I strongly recommend Sumits Yoga KC. I have been at this studio for over 2 years now and I can say it is by far the best true Hot Yoga experience I have found in Kansas City Metro area. The teachers are very professional and encouraging.
Andrea Barrera-Gonzalez: The place was comfortable and nice, and the class offered modifications for every level. It is a great find, if you are looking to relax and challenge yourself.
Andrew White: My experience at Sumits 60 KC has been incredible. My Bikram studio closed a few years ago and I had couldn’t find a hot yoga studio I liked until now. The Sumits 60 series is fast moving and you get the benefits of the poses and a great cardio workout. The studio itself is clean, the facility maintains a perfect temperature and humidity for the classes. The instructors are all excellent and this studio has a very deep bench of passionate practice leaders. There are many options for classes each day which is critical, and the owners look to continuously improve the class schedule. I found an introductory and follow up pricing package that fit my needs. The team at Sumits 60 KC have built a nice community around their studio and each participant feels welcome and excited to practice Yoga at Sumits 60. I couldn’t give this studio a higher recommendation.Drew White
Katie D: This is by far my favorite yoga studio in the KC area! I have never had a bad experience, everyone is kind and knowledgeable and always willing to help. Ive taken several classes from various teachers and would highly recommend any of them. The only thing I wish they'd change is turning the music down at the end of a practice/class, shavasana is such an important part of your practice and its hard to truly relax and soak it in when the music is blasting.
Rebecca Meile: Be careful with automatic monthly memberships. I was charged after canceling mine. I was told I would get a refund that has yet to happen. Their communication is poor. On the website it says you will get a response within 24 hours. Every time I’ve emailed I never get a response. I’ve had to call and leave messages. It’s been almost a month since I’ve been wrongly charged without a refund. Be careful.
Stephen K: Started as a beginner! As an ex-football player flexibility and back pain has always been a huge issue for me. Thanks to summits I have flexibility and no more chronic back pain! Great establishment with great instructors that help you get better each class. SO worth the money!
Hannah Stevens: Never have I been to a yoga studio more diverse than Sumits. There is no judgement when you walk in the doors and it has been a place that I have come to love so much; you can always find peace on your mat. Of course I have my favorite instructors (you know who you are!) but they are ALL amazing and soar in leading practice in ways that are unique to their style. If you’re trying to decide if you should come try out Sumits, I say “YES! Come!”. There are classes for everyone and at all experience levels. I promise you will not leave disappointed, I know I haven’t in the nearly 3 years I have been going!! 🙏🏽
Ine Car: Great studio that offers variety classes, love the atmosphere!
Leslie Bell: My very first venture into Yoga. It’s been nine months and I’m still enjoying Sumits in Olathe. I believe that I found the perfect studio with the nicest instructors. This is a very upbeat hot yoga environment and the focus seems to be more on feeling great and advancing your practice. The instructors explain the poses and describe the physical/internal benefits too. Theyattempt to help you in your practice without making you feel judged or uncomfortable. There are a great variety of classes offered at convenient times.
Annabelle Aragon: I stepped into Sumits Yoga in April of 2015, and never left!!! It has changed my life tremendously! This place is my second home!
Martin Butler: Sumits hot yoga sequence has changed my life. I've been going for 6 months now and have noticed great improvements in my yoga and life in general. This was the first yoga studio I ever visited and I was welcomed with open arms. I can't stress enough how great Sumits has been for me. Try it out!
Jennifer Handling: Great studio with convenient showers. Pricey

Yoga Patch: what do users think?
Sarah Mackay: This space with the teachers and students is so welcoming for everyone. I started taking classes with a friend a few years ago, having been being very unflexible for my entire life and always saying that I "Don't do yoga". The teachers that I started with specialized in slow flows and meditatiive classes and helped me to feel secure in where my body should be in each pose and how to make it work for my level of flexibility. I was hooked and have been a student here for the past 4 years. I love the community in this space - you can feel it when you walk in. There are plants everywhere, multiple studios as well as a cafe and shop for fun items, pet birds that sing to you as you are in the space, and people that are real and wonderful. Maria, the owner, has created something magical here - a safe and welcoming space to be, to move, to stretch, and to breathe.
poonam bhyan: I have been practicing yoga for 10 years now and I’m beyond disappointed in this studio. Their facility and space is very spacious and natural feel with plants etc. However, their yoga classes are very basic level and hardly any teacher does or teaches advanced level poses. More importantly, I felt so much negative energy and tension in this place especially with couple of teachers who I felt were outright rude, very unwelcoming & even racists.I have lived in DC, New York, North Carolina and have especially noticed that among trainers, yoga teachers are specially the most mentally peaceful people, they are kind and they are role models by their attitude and their behavior. This is the first place I felt that their teachers have may be learnt sequences of asanas but not the real meaning/essence of yoga. They definitely have work to do on themselves before they teach others. Adios!
Carolina Santiago: What an amazing place to practice! They have a variety of classes with really good instructors. No matter what class I have taken I’ve had a great experience and left feeling recharged.
Jen S.: Yoga Patch is an exceptional studio. It is a warm and welcoming space, and the instructors are all wonderful. There is a meaningful emphasis on mindfulness and meditation—I always feel noticeably lighter after class. I am so glad that I found my way to Yoga Patch!
Chanelle Johnson: First time going to yoga patch and had a great time in hip hop yoga taught by Veronica. I can't wait to come back!
Bryan Miller: Very clean, polite, professional, safe, and AMAZINGLY relaxing. This is like a hard reset for your body. Pain, stress, anxiety, and PTSD are greatly reduced!
A L: I just started practicing yoga and I feel so welcomed and comfortable in this space despite being a newcomer to the practice. Every instructor I've had here has been wonderful and offered lots of modifications to suit the needs of everyone in the classroom, and they've been approachable for any questions and offered supportive advice. I am so happy I found Yoga Patch to continue to grow my daily yoga practice with. I cannot say enough good things about this gorgeous space!
Will Hall: One of the best yoga classes I have ever taken - thanks to the consent cards teacher Kate wisely offered to opt-in to instructive touch. I hope this becomes widespread in the yoga industry and am grateful to Kate and Yoga Patch for helping lead the way.
Abby Condon: Such a beautiful studio with diverse classes, gorgeous and warm atmosphere, and the kindest owner. She even hand delivered a yoga block to me over COVID, when I had just had a baby!
Auburn Ellis: Such a dynamic space with so many offerings! Yoga classes in Spanish, hot yoga, silks-I truly enjoy every bit. The space is also peaceful & beautiful with great instructors to match the vibe.
Shelby: There’s so many amazing things I could say about Yoga Patch. No matter where you’re at in your practice, the teachers and students are warm, welcoming and accepting. I always leave here feeling so full and whole. I’ve found wonderful teachers here at Yoga Patch and I’ve begun to heal in ways I no longer thought were possible for me. It’s a safe and validating environment to show up just as you are. There’s a variety of classes offered throughout the day to meet your scheduling needs, too. I highly recommend this studio. I can’t thank you enough, Yoga Patch!
michelle gordon: Any class guided by Anna Koehler is the perfect gift to give yourself or anyone you care about and humanity at large! I participated in my first evening class with her last night and slept better than I have in months and literally woke up laughing several times! The sincerity in her guidance is awe-striking and will change your life.Anna has the gift of transforming the confines of a physical space into a universe of endless possibilities. Her practice encompasses all of our senses that frequently get overlooked in western yoga practice. The powerful healing properties in her voice alone are worth investing your time. She guides verbally, visually, energetically and physically-best adjustments ever! Her generous spirit will take your yoga practice to a deeper level and you will experience a shavasana of a lifetime.
Brock Exline: I have been following Yoga Patch since being on Wornall. U can’t find a more caring group of like minded people in the area. I can’t say enough about how they have trudged thru the pandemic and still created a since of calm and belonging. I feel lucky to attend a safe/ social distanced/ masked class when ever I can ( and on line when I can’t). Thank you Maria!
Cami Reign: So far so good, I have only attended one class so far but it definitely made me want to go back. I love all the plants and the whole calmness about the building and the yoga session was amazing. I plan on trying every class they have, it's an amazing way to get out of the house right now and they are very mindful of social distancing. So 3 weeks in and still loving it. Will definitely keep going.
Molly Flynn: Best yoga class in KC on Wednesday night at yogapatch with Anna K. The room is gorgeous.... candles, a fireplace and it smells amazing. The music is fun and hits exactly on point with the movement. The combination of escaping into this gorgeous studio with an awesome instructor for relaxation while simultaneously getting an awesome workout is top notch
Laura Klover: I go weekly just to attend Anna Koehler’s classes. Her hot flow and iron yoga are KILLER! She’s hands on and energetic which keeps classes exciting!
Derek Garcia: Yoga patch has an amazing Shangri-la feel to it. You step in and feel the positive energy. As far as class selection goes, we are pretty much spoiled for choice. Whatever your preference, it is likely they have a quality class, usually more than one, for you to enjoy. With 3 rooms they are able to accomodate a lot of classes and people. All of the teachers I have been to (about 8) have been extremely knowledgeable and led wonderful flows. They have classes throughout the day to fit everyone's schedules. They also have kid's yoga classes! The hidden gem of Waldo!
Kate Feder: I've been practicing yoga for about 15 years, and when I moved back to Kansas City after college, I found Yoga Patch online when looking for a place to practice regularly. The first class I took was Rachel's Hot Flow, and I was immediately hooked. So much so that after about 6 months, I joined their new Teacher Training program. It's been about 4 years since I first walked through the door, and not only do I still hit up Rachel's class when I can, I now teach 3 classes a week and attend others regularly. I've seen this studio become a community for so many who needed one, a home for small businesses and non-profits, and a life-changing outlet for people with all types of limitations and insecurities, physically and mentally, that made them think yoga wasn't for them. YP's classes are truly for everyone - there's more than 60 classes a week, almost half of which are offered for $5-$8, and dozens of workshops and trainings each year. All of this is a testament to the owner - Maria Murphy - and her passion for empowering others and her selfless love of this community. I know I'm biased, but only because once you get to know YP, most people find they have no choice but to get involved.
Sage Harper: Gwendolyn White (Buti Yoga)is extremely disrespectful & very standoffish. I’m beyond disappointed that we need to find a different yoga studio considering me & 5 of my friends were about to purchase a year upfront memberships. She’s put a sour taste in our mouths. You’d normally expect to be greeted by a yoga teacher kindly & respectfully. Typically they tend to have a sense of zen about them but the negative energy was very unwelcoming & discouraging.I understand that one teacher shouldn’t dictate the overall vibe of a studio but we’ve never been so incredibly disrespected in a yoga studio for asking a few questions.
Derek Black: I went to Brandon Vogt's Yoga Basics class. It was the best Yoga class that I've ever gone to. He's also a musician and plays his guitar at the end.
Daniel Edwards: Coffee

Honor Yoga Kansas City North: what do users think?
Jacqueline Thompson: I really love this yoga studio. I have been going to this yoga studio for a few months now and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. The heated flow classes are my absolute favorite and the instructors are fantastic. They create a calm and welcoming atmosphere that really allows me to connect with my practice. I highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a great yoga experience.
Candy Hernandez: Love this place, I go once a week. The staff and management are supper nice, they really make you feel at home. They have several clases with different levels of difficulty and different styles. I've enjoyed every one of them, I've never felt judged. The people attending are super nice too, I work at my own pace when needed. They have different schedules available. People of any age and gender are welcome. I recommend!!!
Amy Simmonds: Very warm and welcoming studio. Tried the intro package of three classes, taking the aerial yoga, beginner's yoga, and hot yoga. I have done a lot of intro yoga classes but haven't practiced in a couple of years. I didn't feel out of place but I could see where some might be overwhelmed with the pace of some instructors, yet they are all very friendly. The aerial yoga class was my first class, which was a little scary for me. Thankfully many of us were new and nothing was being asked of us that we couldn't do. Again, a little fast paced for anxious folks, but still an inviting environment. If this were a closer location and I wasn't already paying for a gym membership, I'd probably sign up for classes here. It's a great place and I'm sure it's easy to make friends in this environment.
Angel Rosario: Haven’t Practiced Yoga since 2020 because I couldn’t find the right Studio… Then as 2022 is ending, I stumble across this Haven of a practice. 😇🙏Honor Yoga not only fills my appetite but they have helped me find my way back to My Peace.Just Check it out, I promise you won’t be disappointed 🏾
Petra R.: So grateful to found this yoga studio in the north of Kansas City. The owner, staff, yoga teacher are all amazing and helpful. There are so many different classes to take.
Camille Wainwright: Love the friendly, welcoming environment of this place! Great place to practice yoga 🧘‍♀️
Cassie Zube: Beautiful and clean facility, helpful and welcoming staff. As a beginner, they welcomed me by name & provided a mat & other equipment to use during class. Highly recommend.
Diana Wood: After looking for a "good" yoga facility, I was referred by a friend to Honor Yoga. Best thing I have ever done for myself!! Staff are caring, experienced and have the exact level of classes I was looking for.
T M: I am here for a wedding. This studio is clean and the staff is super friendly I enjoyed the slow flow and will take more classes while in town.
Chris Davis: A wonderful establishment, an incredible staff, who are knowledgeable with technique and customer personalization, peaceful environment, excellent choice of classes. I highly recommend Honor Yoga for anyone looking for a fantastic experience!!!
ryan miller: I went there I loved the kids class
Melea L: This place is GREAT! Everyone is so welcoming- staff and students! I just moved from Oklahoma and was lucky enough to find my way here through a Google search lol. If you're on the fence, DON'T BE!!! Every BODY, every shape, every level of ability, no matter where you're starting, just show up!! And the aerial is SO FUN!!!!

Carly Sturgeon: I loved this place! I happened to be on a work trip in Liberty, MO. I tried a free class at Honor Yoga and felt so welcomed. I ended up going back to several classes later that week. It is such a peaceful environment. I highly recommended the aerial yoga classes. The instructor Sydney was amazing and so friendly! You want to check this place out!
A Heinrichs: Took several classes at this studio while staying for a couple of days in the area. The teachers were great, very welcoming, as were the students. Lovely rooms for yoga, I took a barre and flow class and was able to follow along quite well. A great experience!
Susan Downey: I ALWAYS feel so much better after Shannon's Slow Flow! Such a gift to myself!
Curtis Kempton: Really nice facility with lots of options to improve your mental and physical health. Shannon is an excellent instructor and really helps people push themselves in a safe way!Check this place out, you will be happy you did.
Tami Spolec: There’s never been a time where I’ve walked in and the staff hasn’t greeted my husband or myself by name. It’s a great community feel and a place where we both feel comfortable. The classes and teachers are great and the variety with both is a fantastic way to keep things fresh and challenging. It’s the same class, but different each week. We look forward to each class we attend.
Chrissy: My daughter loves going and the instructors are all so sweet and knowledgeable!
