I'm the type of shopper that comes in and out for a handful of things and always fast..maybe I scared someone? Because the vibes I got were negative and the old lady cashier acted like she didn't want to talk to me I had to tell her I have a membership! and she was still very nasty. Next time I will be more alert and listen in but I never concern myself but the vibes impacted me enough to write all this even though they probably could've been watching a real thief it still made me very uncomfortable!On top of all that fearing the safety of the stock boys that would be ordered by management to act as security if such incident was to actually happen should be reprimanded.

It is cleaner better organized than the other stores as wellI recently did a special order on interior stone and tile and was helped out by the manager. I have also returned a number of items and am impressed with how quickly they process it. Checkouts... again, are done properly and quickly, and call me crazy, almost cheerfully. Hard to imagine, but true. (they seem to have a younger and not so jaded crew)One quirk of the store to just look out for is the guards at the special order and bulk delivery gate entrance are very good at their job. When you exit, it feels like you are getting out on bond from a jail.

They helped me above and beyond what I'd expected or hoped for especially an hour before close. Both of them went above and beyond, if you want to keep them working for you, I'd be giving them raises. I don't work for your company, I don't know what you can do, but PLEASE do the best you can for those girls. Their kindness and help made a world of difference to me, and I hope you use it as grounds to make a difference for them.

William Johnston: My experience wasn't as bad as others. Must declare ALL weapons and ammo. They will search thoroughly. They found stuff I forgot about. Lol. About 30 minutes to clear, and 30 minutes to load. My load was already labeled when I arrived, tho. No problems with anyone working there. It was a better experience than getting loaded in The Cave, and only 37,000 pounds.

You can bring weapons BUT big BUT you HAVE to declare it and security will put it in a locker. Be prepared to sit here a couple of hours because ya know...federal DOD civilians.

Imagine.Be advised all who enter here... your car or truck will be searched for contraband. Do NOT bring any weapons to the property in your car or truck! Even if you declare it before inspection, they won't just secure it in their safe and return it to you when you leave. They will make your life hell to teach you some kind of lesson. Do not have expired prescription pills of any kind in your possession or vehicle. Better not have any narcotic just to be safe.Also, your driver license will be checked in federal and local law enforcement criminal database. If you have a suspended license, or a warrant, or any blemish... You can and will be denied entry. You may have your vehicle impounded. You WILL be arrested on site and taken to the local city (Independence) jail if you have a warrant or commit any crime on the property. I saw an older office lady cuffed and loaded into a paddy wagon today. No joke. It's federal property. Any rules you break on the property will be considered felonies.Other than that, the employees at the various buildings are decent enough. Plan to spend 30-60 min just clearing security though.Enjoy!

Asia: Do not work for these people. I worked here for two months. Never had an issue. Was always on time. Always did my job as safe as I could...because they're all about being safe. I nearly died one night due to a .50 cal bullet explosion or in their words, a "pop off" and luckily only came out with minor burns on my arms. This was due to improper upkeep of the machines where the bullets come out. The building manager seemed calm about the whole ordeal, he let me work for the rest of the shift. The following night, I came to work...my badge didn't work and I couldn't clock in. Hmmm...weird. Come to find out...I was terminated. Why? I still don't know to this day but it's okay. I enjoyed my time there. I met some wonderful people but I would not recommend this place to anyone who is looking for work. They don't communicate, they're quick to get rid of the new hires and some of the supervisors are full of themselves. Some employees who've been there for 10+ years would tell you the same thing.

Larry Benoit: Does not have a pavement line at their new dock lock. The old system of portable dock plates does not require exact trailer placement. The new system does. Lots of new paint on the dock. None on the pavement.Obviously a project required by insurance and done by the safety department, neither of which knows about truck manuvering. Neither of which cares how long it takes to dock.I hate to criticize companies run mostly by vets as I had to do recently over dock pavement stripes. But it is important for safety and productivity.That doesn't mean that they are not awesome.

Paula Stevens: A memorial Day weekend I called at night and spoke with Ron about a lawn mower and items on sale for the lawn and he was so nice and went through everything for me. he told me to come in real early and I did and Mark was there and he helped me I told him everything wrong said and that he wouldn't be there but you know Mark or a couple other gentleman he named would be so just tell him everything. When everything didn't really go the way Ron said Mark went and spoke with someone and he got my order filled the way it was supposed to be and he helped me not only with that but also with plants and just all kinds of things and was very informative and helpful and I couldn't have appreciate it a sales representative any better than that I'm not sure if I've ever had one as good as this young man was because not only was the knowledgeable he cared.

Brandon Alexander: Bought kitchen appliances here, and every step of the process was painful and frustrating. We were notified of delivery times and they stood us up repeatedly. We would stay home to accept the delivery and NO ONE showed up or called. Each time, we made multiple attempts to speak with someone at the store only to be endlessly transferred, put on hold, and quite frequently hung up on. It was almost impossible to get in touch with someone willing to help.

I would get put on hold until the phone stopped ringing. I will never shop at your lowes again and will tell everyone I can to not shop there as well. Your customer is non existent in store and over the phone.

John Gilliland: If you want to do business with a place that deceives it’s customers and charges astronomical prices then this place is for you. I called inquiring about a Benchmade knife they had online. I wanted to make sure it was new and see if they could do better on price. He located the knife in the store and he advised it was new and he couldn’t do anything on price due to Benchmade supply issues at the moment. I said that was fine and if I decided would purchase the knife online. Not two minutes passed after I got off the phone and decided on the knife. As I went to checkout, I realized the knife was no longer available online. I thought this was odd as he just had the knife in hand when I was speaking to him over the phone. When I called back, he said he didn’t know who bought the knife and someone must have bought it online. This seemed fishy to me. I also noticed checkout for all other knives was disabled online as well. He supposedly had no idea what I was talking about. I left it at that. I went back on the website 10 minutes later and saw exactly what he did. He disabled checkout and raised the prices to all of his BM inventory by 15%-25% and some over MSRP. I guess he thought his already high prices weren’t high enough. Had I not called in, I would have been able to buy the knife online at stated price and the next guy wanting a BM knife would have also been able to do so at his then listed prices. Seems like this guy cares more about the hustle, no matter at what cost, than ethical business practices. Stay away!

KansasCity Stroller: I have been in this gun shop several times just browsing. The warmness of the employees depends on the day. I have been welcomed as soon as I have walked in the door. I have also been ignored completely.They have a great selection of new and used guns. just one problem. The man who owns the places prices the used guns within reach of the new guns.Before the pandemic, I even tried to ask him about coming down on a FNH FNX9 that he had priced about 50 bucks under new, and he stated that was what he paid for it.If he paid that much, then he lacks common sense. after making a reasonable offer, I decided to try my luck elsewhere and wouldn't you know that a gun shop in Liberty saved the day with the same mode new and only 5 dollars more than what the used gun was going for in this shop.This is a great gun shop to go to and see a model that you might not find,However I highly suggest looking somewhere else.
