Paula Stevens: A memorial Day weekend I called at night and spoke with Ron about a lawn mower and items on sale for the lawn and he was so nice and went through everything for me. he told me to come in real early and I did and Mark was there and he helped me I told him everything wrong said and that he wouldn't be there but you know Mark or a couple other gentleman he named would be so just tell him everything. When everything didn't really go the way Ron said Mark went and spoke with someone and he got my order filled the way it was supposed to be and he helped me not only with that but also with plants and just all kinds of things and was very informative and helpful and I couldn't have appreciate it a sales representative any better than that I'm not sure if I've ever had one as good as this young man was because not only was the knowledgeable he cared.

Brandon Alexander: Bought kitchen appliances here, and every step of the process was painful and frustrating. We were notified of delivery times and they stood us up repeatedly. We would stay home to accept the delivery and NO ONE showed up or called. Each time, we made multiple attempts to speak with someone at the store only to be endlessly transferred, put on hold, and quite frequently hung up on. It was almost impossible to get in touch with someone willing to help.

Joe Oliphant: Terrible experience. I ordered a refrigerator and long story short it took four deliveries before I got one that wasn't dented. I had to drive to the job 20 minutes each way FOUR times on my days off over a three week span. I was told that I would get a little reimbursement for my time and fuel but have been passed around and around when I call to speak with a manager. I would get put on hold until the phone stopped ringing. I will never shop at your lowes again and will tell everyone I can to not shop there as well. Your customer is non existent in store and over the phone.

Locked the tools up and no employees to unlock it to make a sale. 🤦

I appreciate how she did it all, and I would give her a raise, she's worth keeping around. Also the girl at customer service, I didn't catch her name, but she was very kind and even said she'd help load it herself if she could leave her register. 10/10, I will be back, and if I was in charge I'd give both of these kids a raise. They helped me above and beyond what I'd expected or hoped for especially an hour before close. Both of them went above and beyond, if you want to keep them working for you, I'd be giving them raises. I don't work for your company, I don't know what you can do, but PLEASE do the best you can for those girls. Their kindness and help made a world of difference to me, and I hope you use it as grounds to make a difference for them.

Olivia: This menards has the worst customer service I have ever experienced! The lady straight lied and couldn't be bothered to move away from what she was doing. I suggest shopping else where if you want to be treated like a human being instead of an inconvenience. If I could give zero stars I would! This store brings menards down!

So even if they look up the stock and claim they have plenty of what you need, after you pay and go out back to get it, you'll find out they don't have it. And BEWARE when going back in for a refund because they'll try to refund you for only 1 of the item instead of the 100 you paid for and didn't get.

Janet Moore: I’m super disappointed in the quality of washing machines that Menards is not backing and just putting it off on the manufacturer. Expensive one!!! 2 DIFFERENT repair companies and the brand spanking new washing machine still takes ALL DAY to wash one simple load. It’s unbelievable that Menards/Whirlpool refuse to exchange this for something that works! Customer service has been a nightmare with the 2 companies. The one star is only so I could warn you all to do your research carefully because they will not back their washer.

Christi Hodill: I like shopping here whether I know what I'm after or poking around, I like the prices, and the staff are much more eager to help than the other big box stores. It is cleaner better organized than the other stores as wellI recently did a special order on interior stone and tile and was helped out by the manager. I have also returned a number of items and am impressed with how quickly they process it. Checkouts... again, are done properly and quickly, and call me crazy, almost cheerfully. Hard to imagine, but true. (they seem to have a younger and not so jaded crew)One quirk of the store to just look out for is the guards at the special order and bulk delivery gate entrance are very good at their job. When you exit, it feels like you are getting out on bond from a jail.

Nightlistic: The Kansas City Lowes Delivery Service are dishonest, lairs, and deceitful. I was to have a dyer delivered today only to be left a message claiming they showed up at my house when they didn't. I called and was told that the time frame they gave me which was 5-9pm was a mistake, and they can't deliver past 8pm. I waited all day for them to show up. Now they tell me I have to wait another 7 days for my delivery because they lied about coming to my house. The worst customer service I've experienced in forty years. My recommendation is go to another place to buy something that doesn't use lying deceitful delivery services. I have reported them to the BBB of Greater Kansas City, and KCTV5. I've also filed a formal complaint with Corp. Lowes. I don't expect any results but if it helps hold them accountable it was worth a try.
FatKat MOTO: Update. 5/31/23This Memorial Day sales I seen Home Depot has a propane 3 burner for $99. Then I seen academy sports different brand for $99. I thought, let's check out Lowe's because that's where I go!.. yet no sale. Disappointed. Iv been also wanting patio furniture and seen home Depot had a bench for $40. Lowe's has one for $140.. maybe I should start going to home Depot 😕____________I prefer Lowe's over Home Depot. Sure they don't have Milwaukee tools. But I'm not a fan boy. So that's ok.. Also easier to get a credit card here then Home Depot. 🤷

B. W: In Omaha I loved Menards however the North Kansas city store is solely responsible for us finally closing our account. Over the last two years this store has shorted us on EVERY order they were responsible for delivering. In EVERY case we would be missing materials and their delivery department would refuse to deliver the rest of the material so an employee would end up coming off the clock AFTER formal complaints to BBB were filed or we would have to pick it up to avoid the fight. We aren't talking about small stuff either we are talking $500 to over $1000 worth of product of high value orders they charged us $100 or more to deliver and didn’t deliver in full. When its every time its pretty obvious theres serious mismanagement or employee theft (maybe thinking we wouldn't notice?) going on since the material was there when we called. We originally thought it was an employee issue but started to realize something else is going on when the last order a supervisor gave a kid a death store when he said he remembered our order and stuff WAS missing when the supervisor was trying to deny it. They shorted us a second time a $50 box of landscape material and told us it was being sent to store via fedex snd we could pickup the next day. They then never ordered it so a week later tried to deny they didn't deliver it. At this point the owner & management of this location is fully aware of whats going on and are supportive of shorting customers or complacent. I strongly suggest you take your business elsewhere or if you take your chances being very careful to check any order you pay this store to deliver.

However, if everytime someone attempts to look at pocket knifes your security guard feels the need to rush out and awkwardly stand there maybe you should put them in a case or not sell them!? I've been using this location for 20 years now. As of this week. Never again. They should build a Menards next door and shutter this depot.

Garrett Smith: The taco shop inside is way overpriced. Carne asada grande burrito is just a normal sized burrito with no flavor the "carne asada" is just steamed beef. Got a side of fries for +3 dollars and I only got a handful of soggy greasy fries. Total was 16$ with a 2 dollar coffee. Don't waste your money here.

Bring back cashiers please. I really hate going to this store even though it's close to me. I usually drive further to the Westlake or strassers because the service is much better.

Her knowledge of the paint to pick the one we wanted without breaking the bank and still marking all of our needs. Shon was her name and she definitely was a huge help and made our experience amazing.

Placed $6500 orders for microwaves and fridges which were to arrive within 10-12 days. Came in piece by piece and still haven’t received 40% of the order. Won’t give refund nor will they give me update of the order and it’s been over month and half.

Heather Safety First: Needed a sheet of treated plywood. Two trips to Lxxxs and Hxxe Dxxxt resulted in total frustration. One trip to Sutherlands and the results were wonderful. The treated was cut to our specifications, the gentleman to did the cutting was exceptional. What a pleasure to be treated so well. Thank you.
M Samuelson: Went to purchase flowers and as hard it is was to find any that were taken care of we proceeded to check out. The young lady who was at the checkout when walked in who looked sour my husband make a point to say hello to her. We found a few flowers then went to check out and with the same young lady we made a friendly hello to her as we approach she continues with no smile or conversation as to how to give her the flowers in our cart after I ask. At that point we left our items there and went to Lowe’s and spent 100 dollars on beautiful flowers. I prefer to keep my business in Liberty and the sad part is this is not the first time we have been treated less than customer like here.

Danielle P: Normally I like this place been going here for many years, but tonight the main older lady I see at register all the time was disrespectful and ignored everyone. Teenage kid at reg 2 light was on had a line of about 5 customers, reg 2 light on but both employees were at other counter talking to a guy, the kid says I'm backed up, and the older woman In front of everyone says "we're busy deal with it". Seriously embarrassing the employee in front of everyone. 1 customer said something, she didn't care. Lost my respect and my business. I support local but if that's how u treat not only customers but your employees, nope I won't shop there. I work in customer service and the first rule is customer courtesy, you don't ignore customers. And you don't treat others that way, especially in front of people.

Traci Turner: The employees here followed me from the caulk aisle where I was pricing different brands to the live flowers and trees that I was also pricing. I thought they were simply trying to be helpful at first, but I realized when I walked towards the front door that there were like 6 people staring at me. Still I don't know why, I never held an item more than to look and put it back on the shelf... They are very judgemental and incredibly rude. I guess if you are just¹ looking... They don't want you in the store. I will never go back there.
Connie Meis-Robertson: Every year, they have a plant sale. Great place to purchase these plants. This year they had large hanging Boston Ferns for $11! Great price!

Lyn Wellington: Today is their annual fruit and nut Christmas sale. Lots of fresh fruit and vegetables plus several finds of shelled nuts. Not as crowded as at Thanksgiving. Get there early while supplies last and not to crowded (Got there at 9 am). Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone.
