Troy Copa: Friendly helpful staff and the only place that stocked or could order the correct part for my application. They called to let me know that the part that was supposed to be in stock wasn't and when they ordered it they made sure to order a second one to be sure they did have 1 in stock. Had to wait till the next day to pick up. Very unresponsive and slightly rude staff in the evening. Acted like I was an inconvenience for being there....won't go back to this location, ever.

Heather Means: I can not thank enough or give enough praise to Javair Langford! He was so knowledgeable, kind and more than willing to go above and beyond to help me. I just bought a new/used car last Saturday and to my dismay the air is just not blowing cold even after complaining, taking it in and being told nothing was wrong from the place I bought it from. Javair took the time to come out in the 100 something degree weather, take out my glove box and pull out what was the grossest air filter ever. He then helped me pick out what was in my price range and the best fit for my car filter. If that wasn’t enough, the nice young man helped the five people behind me then came out and helped me replace the old for the new. My faith has been restored in humanity. 10 stars and I can not tell you enough how much his kindness meant to me today when I felt I was on the brink of a meltdown literally physically and mentally. Thank you so much Javair! You truly were a guardian angel to me today. I will always come back to your store if I get to have your help. It’s really rare to find people like you in today’s world.
Erin P.: My elderly mother was at the Hub Drive location in Independence, MO this morning. The saleswoman behind the counter was VERY rude to her. She refused to answer her questions. She took FOREVER checking her out. My mom is disabled and can't stand for long periods of time. Mom asked her how long it would take. The clerk just shrugged! Finally, mom couldnt stand any longer and wait on the cashier, so she left. Because of her health, it took her the rest of the day to get her energy back. Where's the compassion! People like this shouldn't be working for the public. We won't be going back!

Lewis “Nolier” Duttery: The young man that waited on me was rude! I took the lite bulb socket that I purchased, and asked him if that was the only type of socket available? He said yes so I asked for a refund but in the mean time an older man said wait a minute and look it up and they will have it in the morning! Apparently the young man was too lazy to do his job right! I don't know the young man's name but he had shot dark hair and wore glasses!

Jared G: Gears fixed up the diff’s on my jeep fast, and with precision.Had excessive noise and vibration from a bad install before bringing it to them. I think Billy was the tech who fixed it up. No noise, no vibration, absolutely mint craftsmanship. Can’t wait to break in the new parts and go wheeling.Would recommend this shop to others looking for diff work. 10/10

Randi Kendrick: The only reason they got 1 star is because yes they did replace their bad differential in my truck. However, because the differential was never filled with gear oil, like they said it was to begin with, it locked up while my husband was driving. Dispite what Billy the owner, screamed at us across the counter, wants us to believe a severally locked up front differential, such as one that does not have gear oil, can cause OTHER DRIVETRAIN ISSUES. Now, thanks to Gears Unlimited, I not only needed the transfer case but now a transmission because they did not fill the differential and told us they did. And yes I have the pictures to show that the differential did not have gear oil in it since July. Spider gears won't show signs of rust with gear oil in a differential. I am not ASE certified but I have work in the industry enough to know it connects and works together. I went to Gears because they were know to be good. Biggest regret, will not be recommending anyone to them anymore.
Zack Britton: Ordered new front and rear gears with a limited slip for my Toyota Tundra. After shipping the install was completed in a timely fashion with guys that stand behind their work. After following the break in directions I then had the fluid swapped out and couldn’t be happier with the finished product. 10/10 recommend gears unlimited

Brandon Akin: Guys can’t even get a drive shaft right for me, took three times THREE (3) to make a correct drive shaft and still will not function correctly. The first time I called and explained my set up, I was TOLD to measure from the center of u joint to rear u joint as well having an 1” space with the yoke pull outward. I did as exact time, I received the drive shaft and it was 3” to short. Then they remade the 2nd one it was the correct length , but took a 5 min drive and the glue came undone on the shaft, and then I had to pay tow fees and took me 3hrs to get home. THEN I had another one made and then it twisted the drive shaft into two pieces. Now they are saying my car was rubbing on my exhaust and it broke because of that, my exhaust was in fact NOT rubbing and had 2” of clearance! These people are a JOKE and do not use them, they told me after this 3rd shaft was made that that had full 100% confidence in it and it broke and then didn’t want to refund me any money back at all, it was non refundable. After all the trouble I went thru with them I highly do not recommend! They told me they do not make aluminum drive shafts for my set up when all day long they are making them for other similar set ups. It all COMES DOWN TO THE MONEY BECAUSE CARBON FIBER IS HIGHER DOLLAR THEN ALUMINUM AND THEY DONT WANT TO LOSE MONEY. Stay away! Stay away!They then say, they can’t make me an aluminum driveshaft because I make too much power, 800? Really yeah that’s why I’ve been running a DSS shaft for years on my old set up and made more power on it then I did on youre shaft and still can’t hold. U guys are so far behind in the car industrial it’s not even funny .
