Sherri Rigsby: What a great place to observe Buffalo and Elk in their natural habitat. This is a wonderful place to relax , unwind and enjoy nature.
Sebastian Wentz: The animals looked very comfortable and were calm. They watched people stare and just moved along and did their thing. Crysler Animal Hospital: what do users think?
William Stutzman: Caring and compassionate people. Usually a short wait time but they spend time with your important creatures too.
Marion Koczur: As always my dog got excellent and compassionate care.
Tracey S: Dr. Schweizer is the go-to veterinarian. He's been my vet for years. I can't say enough good things about him and the care he gives to my babies. The only reason I am giving a 4 star instead of 5 is price point. I feel they are a little more expensive than others. But I continue to go for my vet and the care they give.
Stephanie Clark: I have been taking my animals to Chrysler Animal Hospital for years and will never go anywhere else. The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. I know my animals are always in the best hands when we visit, and I would highly recommend using this office if you are looking for help with your pets.
Lisa Self: Everyone was so nice and professional
britt francis (fox): The prices are a lot more than most other places. But the staff was nice for the most part. We typically use the vet in North east kcmo so are used to the lower prices there. Went to Crysler animal hospital because it was closer but the cost was so much higher than we're used to.
Mary Swick: Friendly staff and docs. Take great care of your pet and make them feel less anxious and more calm.
Mark Alflen: Awesome staff
Andrea Carl: Great staff! Always so caring and understanding. My pups love visiting.
Bree Maasen: Very pleased with their facility they were quick to get my fur baby an appointment and the staff was passionate about getting the very best care for my puppy!!!
Jerry Gross: Friendly and efficient staff with great doctors
D. FarrarThurman: Great job working with my German Shepard! Dr H and his assistant were very gentle and my dog felt comfortable with them.
Wendy P: We have always received excellent care for our German Shepherd's over the years! The staff is genuinely interested in every detail of their well being to be healthy & happy!
Lisa Good: The whole staff is like family to me. They take great care of my furry children! Love them all!
Emily L: The front desk staff is so friendly and the vet here saved my ferret's life. Can't get any happier than that!
Kim: We were having an issue with two dogs and although they were booked they offered to squeeze them in. We went over to drop them off and the doctor saw them almost immediately. Two days later our third dog was having the same issue and the doctor told me to come get antibiotic and probiotic. From Chloe, Kemba, and Mia a great big Thank You!!!
rcocklinjr: They take great care of our babies!
letitia anderson: Great place for your dogs and cats to go to take their physical exam and so forth and convenient area
Ho Bo: I put in an appointment and they never got back to me.
Brandi Lasure: They were amazing with my dog
Bliss Full: Best vet for pit bulls in the city

Zevan Gustafson: Amazing experience. You could see almost all the animals and up close. The only complaint I have is that the wait for the tram and boat was ridiculous. You are better off just walking, neither is worth the wait.
Brad Tilghman: I feel like I learn something new each time I go! Can't wait for the new aquarium to be opened.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …More
Alex Rodriguez: We enjoyed almost everything about the zoo! Most of the animals have great space for their enclosure. They seemed healthy and beautiful! matthew norton: One of the best zoos I have been to and very excited for the opening of there aquarium building in the fall!Price for entry: $125Ticket type: Family annual pass covers two adults and two children
Shawn Meeker: Definitely a must do, I've lived in mo for 4 years now, I take my 4 year old son outside as much as I can, that being said there ant too many places in Saint Joseph to go and the places there are to go are ran down or just boring, I ventured out to Kansas City zoo because I heard it was relatively cheap, and a decent place to visit. I've only been to 3-4 zoos my entire 33 years on earth and I was rather happy with going to this zoo. It was clean, the workers were semi friendly. (I say semi because the few I did see that I tried asking for help were exhausted from there long day and ready to go so they answered me real short answers didn't really answer what I wanted. Finding the correct gate to enter the place was kind of challenging because I'm not from around here, and for 3 people (2 adults 1 kid) paid $50, the zoo in it's entirety exceated my expectations for cleanliness, the viewing area or pens for different animals were pretty big and not blocked to bad by brush or whatever so you could actually see animals, the only real compaint I would have is with the artists that draw you or a loved one in a cartoonist style picture. The picture was already a little money, but just to add Kansas City zoo to the top of the paper they wanted $10 and they said they couldnt do it in black and white they would have to do it in color which would cost another $6, then they tried forcing a $60 frame on me for the picture which was rediculous. Otherwise this place was awesome, I didn't catch any but they do Interactive shows. Definitely a place to take toddlers.
Alicia Aguilera: The line getting in was long and unorganized, I’m not sure if that’s normal or if it was just the particular day we went but I’d probably order my tickets in advance next time.Lots and lots of walking. They do offer trolley rides for $3 a person (I believe kids under 2 don’t count) they are set for specific pick up and drop off areasBring water and snacks. They do have some vending machines , little restaurants/food shack, and coffee place also.If it’s going to be a hot day bring fans, hats and, Sunscreen. They do have misting areas to walk threw to cool down also

Damion Woodring (Dame): One of the best zoos I have been to. Huge it isAnd now they're adding an aquarium
Laurie Steinke: We love to visit zoos in every city we visit. This zoo is incredible! We bought tickets online ( cheaper and faster), there are clean bathrooms throughout the zoo. A magnificent Penguin exhibit was our first location to visit. Even though parking lots were full ( free parking) it never seemed crowded. We never saw an empty enclosure....all the animals were out to be seen. Very shady pathways and benches to rest. We brought bottled waters in with us ( food and drink allowed). Lots of things to do with children: train, tram, sky ride, merry go round. We travelled with our grown boys so we just walked everywhere.

Independence Animal Hospital: what do users think?
Marco Hargraves: Dr Scott and the staff has been awesome!!
William Wilson: Everytime I come here it's always great work and I'm never disappointed. The price is reasonable. The only complaint is the staff at the front are not really welcoming or helpful when you arrive. Other than that definitely the best bang for your buck and you know your animals is in good hands.
Terri “Terri”: Hats off to Independence Animal Hospital!I have a 14 year old mix breed that's been unwell since Saturday night/Sunday morning, with vomiting, diarrhea and then bloody diarrhea. No appetite, very lethargic. After he kept throwing up the 'bland' diet of rice and chopped chicken I had given him, I was desperate to get him feeling better and fast.I had to miss a day of work to hopefully get him seen by someone, all the while calling different vets offices, who all inevitably, had no openings that day. My regular vet was booked so that was a no go. I called Independence Animal Hospital on the suggestion of my husband, to hopefully get an appointment that same day. Get this... THEY ACCEPT WALK-INS UNTIL 3:00 PM!!!! Bingo!!!I took my boy there ASAPabout 1030AM. The lot was full BUT in less than 45 minutes, Dr Scott had him checked out and headed home. He got my boy in so fast, gave him three shots and pills to take home! I was/am so very ecstatic!!!!The prices were very reasonable for what they did. The staff, and there were a lot of them, were very helpful, friendly and on the ball. The clinic is not fancy with lots of the bells and whistles that many have, but it is clean with a very large waiting room which is really nice if you want to sit away from others. The location is perfect!!Extremely pleased!!I HAVE FOUND MY NEW VETERINARY OFFICE AND DR!!THANK YOU IAH!!!
Sam Porter Bridges: Affordable passionate care. What more can you ask for?
Kathy Cockrum: Doctor Becker is great. The front desk employees not so much.I have never been able to call this office without being on hold for a minimum of nine minutes and thirty seven seconds. My latest hold was 14 minutes and 12 seconds. All I wanted to do was cancel an appointment.Hire more employees to minimize the call wait time. The employee who trimmed my shepsrds nails made him bleed. No he isn't difficult to cut his nails.I'm trying a new vet in Holt MO that comes highly recommended
Joseph Sousa 4: They don’t take appointments, but the wait wasn’t bad. Very friendly staff and affordable prices.
Shanice & Ras Abu: Saved 2 of my dogs lives. I am forever grateful!
Damian Wilcox: They didn't tell me that my puppy needed 3 or 4 rounds of parvo vaccinations and now she has parvo 😡😡😡!!!!! On top of that I could tell that they didn't care about her. They were really busy and just wanted to get her out.
Rhonda Williams: I love Dr. Wingert. He has taken care of all my boxers for at least 20+ years. But lately it’s very confusing as to how your dog can be seen. I called ahead and was told appointments aren’t necessary because they’re taking walk-ins up to 3:00. But when you drive into the small parking lot every space is taken with signs they put up during COVID . Call this number or text and we’ll text you when you can be seen. WHICH IS IT??? And talk about a cluster getting out of that lot! The exit/entrance drive out to Walnut was blocked off! So one way in and one way out. But so many of us kept pulling in to the lot one right after another and soon it was all jammed up so everyone had to back out into Noland Road!!! So after all that, no my dog wasn’t seen because of no parking 🙄 With the amount of business they’ve done over the years, you think they could find a bigger and more convenient place. I live in Lees Summit and will be coming back for emergencies only! Otherwise, it’s not worth the headache, drive, and gas when I have a vet that practices right behind me for vaccinations. You’re my hero Dr. Wingert, but it’s a cluster and too stressful trying to get in there!
harper clause: We had to put down our dog and instead of getting it over with and not having to watch him suffer more, we had to wait for 30 minutes and deal with rude people in the animal hospital. I rather would’ve been able to have nice people help us and not have to second think the decision we made for our dog.
Brenda Deckman: No frills, but good care at great prices. Walk-ins only, so go prepared to wait. Your wallet will thank you.
Dr. Susan Harrison: LOVE the doctor we saw! Very compassionate and the price was the best I found. And, they did an excellent job! Will return!
Jennifer Reid: Always a great experience. Caring staff.
cory miles: Had to go and have a cat put down. They were great to deal with and caring. Very reasonable price on such procedures. We also use them for our other animals for thier prescriptions and such and very reasonably priced
Michelle Sidebottom: My dog is 18yrs young and achy bones and a dislocated knee. Popped the knee back and now has some inflammatory meds. She's been walking better than ever.
Rachel Adams: The entire staff/team go above & beyond with everything, from the customer service given from the admin staff to the expert medical care from the veterinarians. I am truly grateful for everyone at IAH & the obvious devotion they have for all pets. (*and patience with their owners)
Nichole K: I will NEVER go to another vet office again! Truly caring and compassionate people work here! They really care about your pets too!
Thomas Cain: Always a great experience they take care of both my dogs been our family vet for over 40 yrs
Tonya Bryan-Long: We have been going here for years. They are wonderful people and very honest about the health of your pet.
Angie Midgett (PsychoGammie): They were very caring and considerate when we had to put down my 16 yr old baby boy.
Tiffini Dunfield: Good place
