Brooke Noelle: The red headed at the host stand who I am is assuming is the manager was rude to us the entire time we where there. We waiting over 40 minutes after our scheduled reservation time and when we asked her about our table she was nothing but rude to us and said you’ll get seated whenever I can while proceeding to make us wait another 20 minutes. Don’t even bother coming to this place management obviously isn’t doing their job right.

Debbie Welter: We had a confirmed email reservation but they didn't have it in their computer. We only had to wait 10 minutes to get seated. Emily was our server and she was very friendly and helpful. Ramon was our chef & he was great! We had 3 birthdays in our group of 7 & he made sure to acknowledge them. The food was outstanding and we took plenty home. After reading some of the negative reviews, I am happy to say our experience at Hinode was one where we'll definitely return next time we're in town.

Jared Taylor: This place has ripped us off for the last time. We used to come to this restaurant because we found it to be a much better experience in price, flavor and service than nakato or any other hibachi style grill. They have since raised their prices, lost the good cooks and make no apologies or anything when they over charge your card. Just last night I ordered take-out. They tried to give me ice cold soup, they left out sauce that I paid for and even though I ordered extra noodles they left out my vegetables. Then they charge me for a $23 dollar tip. Which I did not authorize. Watch this place very carefully.

Sara Benson: My co-workers and I had to go sushi and sides for lunch, and were disappointed to learn that we also had to pay $1.00 for a 2 oz. side of seafood sauce... and then to top it off, I didn't even get the dang sauce in my to go bag! I get that prices are rising for everyone, but there are plenty of other sushi places in town that usually give you at least one free sauce with an order!

Andrew Farmer: The sushi here is amazing. They have a very good Fanfare and ambiance. Due to not making a reservation we had to sit at the sushi prepared bar which it was fun to watch them make sushi, but our service was not very frequent there. We often had to wave down our waiter and it took us over an hour to get our food. But it tasted amazing and as you can tell by the pictures great presentation.

Angie Bloor: Well when my daughter and I entered we were met by a young girl who was extremely rude. After she sat us and took drink orders she started slamming things around and complaining about a few guests who just left. I actually almost left daughter wanted to try the food.. well it was horrible the steak had a horrible taste and chicken was completely dry with no flavor. We both took maybe 2 bites and asked for to go containers I didn't want to complain as the server was already rude. I will never go back

Rylee Pohl: So so good! The two of us got the titanic sushi boat for $55, and it came with 4 huge rolls, two salads, two soups, two crab rangoons, and two spring rolls. And the sushi rolls were so delicious and filled with only fresh products. I’m astonished we got that much food for $55. Paying separate for those rolls would have been over $70 total, not including the salad, soup, rangoons, and spring rolls. Worth every penny. We will be back!

Raeann Hall: I was greeted by Mia, who was very kind and helpful with all of my questions regarding their menu. The food was delicious and they offer a large menu. It's like a little hole in wall. I loved their entrance when I walked in. The restaurant has a nice, romantic feel, looks clean and kinda cozy. I definitely want to come back with my sweetie. I believe this place is definitely worth trying out, whether getting food on the go or dining in. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Debbie Seely: My son brought me here to eat my first bowl of authentic ramen. I have multiple food allergies and was pleasantly surprised that the owners had a list of dishes that were safe for me to eat. I had edamame as an appetizer and pork broth with pork belly, and rice on the side in place of the noodles. Had I chosen to not eat the rice it would have been low carb as well. But the rice was just so perfectly sticky that I couldn't resist. The best part is that it was not that expensive!Dietary restrictions: I asked the waitress if any of the noodles were gluten free and she got a list of foods that were safe. There were several lists, and I am assuming they were for other allergies.

Bonnita Claus: Maybe unfair, I’m a foodie. My palate has brought out chefs from Coast to Coast to talk to me and give me cooking hints.The seafood salad, had surpassed its time. It was soft and mushy, the flavor was slightly off. I could not eat it.As for the sashimi, I’ve had much better, and sold them worse, but yes, I have been served worse. The softshell crab rolls required sauce to cover up the marginal flavor. I could not taste softshell crab, but I think I detected the tempura.It may have just been a bad day. It appears that many people do enjoy them and their food. Right now, 20/25 min after eating, My stomach is not setting easy.The rice was OK, considering what I’m comparing it to which is average. It is impossible to compare it to a 20-30 year Mester of sushi rice. There’s something magical to a two rice, in the hands of a master. At least the rice was not hard, nor was it totally mushy. The flavor was not distinct. The vast majority of people will be quite content, because of the opportunity to taste rice from a master. This I know because it took me over 45 years before I actually had this magical perfect sushi rice. Until then I did not know what I was missing.Note : I was classified as a super taster, until chemotherapy, despite still being considered a super taster. This is why I said my review may be misleading or unfair.

We ended up having to wait an ANOTHER 40 MINUTES, watching people who arrived and ordered after us get much more food than us (we ordered two sushi rolls). The son came out and said "my dad is crazy, your rolls are sitting right there ready to be made but he keeps making other orders and food". My husband used to work at the restaurant and after what the son said, we are sure that the owner decided that we would be fine waiting for our food - despite the fact that we are still paying customers! Extremely upsetting experience to be just disregarded and pushed off. Ended up having to ask for a refund to leave considering they hadn't even started on our order after over a HOUR.
Sherri Cheffey: I love going here they have so many good meals. I usually go through the drive thru I have went to just buy some sushi many times they have a pretty long list of different kinds of Sushi they are always great about making sure the wasabi sauce and Ginger is in the box plus soy sauce and chop Stix . If you get salad with your meal make sure to order the ginger dressing its my fave. They have habachi Beef, Chicken or Shrimp with Veggies, they serve it with rice and noodles. They also give you yum yum sauce to put on it that is one of my favorites too . Whatever you order im sure you wont be disappointed.

Arthur Chen: I went here to eat lunch around 1300. The interior of the restaurant is really nice and cozy. Staff are courteous and does a good job with service. I ordered the Ramen & Sushi combo. I've had the Karai Ramen with Spicy Tuna Roll and a Sake (Salmon) Nigiri. As with other reviews, there are a lot of bean sprouts in contrast to the ramen noodles. However, it is understandable as it is a combo that I ordered. In the end, I was stuffed and enjoyed every single bit of the meal. I also liked how they allow you to check out right there and then after you ask for the check. Overall, a good experience and I would recommend this establishment to anyone who wants a quick and cozy bite of Japanese ramen and/or sushi in the area.

Alina Isle: The private dining rooms make this a great spot for a date because you can converse comfortably in a quiet space. Troy Harris: The atmosphere is nice, patrons are seated in private booths. The server was a little crass and reminded me of my favorite dinner waitress. Wine is served in colored goblets, hard to explain there not elaborate but kind of funny. They have bulgogi on the menu and that was the reason for my visit. Once I found out it is only served with rice and not the traditional bulgogi accompaniments I was bummed out and settled for over priced mediocre at best sushi.
