Julie Crowe: Every interaction I've had with every single staff member has always been 10/10. Everyone is professional, kind, and approachable. The office is clean and very nice, though could use some updating decor-wise lol. The care is impeccable, and the compassion unmatched anywhere. I can't recommend Dr. Kratz and his nurse practitioners enough. This is one health care provider who will invest time in finding answers, not just write a script for a symptom and send you on your way. Seriously, this place and everyone there are EXCELLENT!!!

Sheree Sullivan: I always read reviews before I go to a doctor or buy something and I thought these must be fake reviews because there were so many positive reviews. I had to find a new OB-GYN because I moved here about 10 years ago and just went back to my previous state to my previous OB-GYN when I had to have a checkup. As a post menopausal woman I am now having problems and my previous OB-GYN has retired so I had to find a new one in Springfield closer to me. I googled doctors who treat obese women in Springfield and found Dr kratz and saw all the good reviews. When I called they got me right in within a week. Everyone in Dr kratz's office have been very friendly and make you feel very comfortable and Dr kratz works very hard to try to find out what is wrong with you. As a person of my size I can say that I do not like going to doctors and I know there are a lot of other women who do not go to doctors for that reason but I can honestly say that I actually like Dr kratz and his staff better than I did my previous OB-GYN whom I went to for over 40 years because they are so non-judgmental and make you feel so comfortable and work hard to find out what your problem is.

Kristina Wilmoth: UPDATE:I called and waited they could get the nurse on the phone (I didn't let them have them call me back) and had a good conversation with the nurse. She took the time to answer all my questions and apologized for my experience. I still say, proceed with caution b/c of their busy-ness but I am happy I finally talked with someone.Not a responsive office at all! I had VERY IMPORTANT bloodwork done and I’m still waiting for the doctor to tell me the results. MyMercy shows the results have been in for a week.I’ve also requested an appointment that the doctor told me to have in 2 weeks from the last appointment. I’ve been calling, writing on MyMercy and requested an appointment on MyMercy and I’m still waiting! (I regret forgetting to make the appointment when I left my last one but I was in emotional distress). Now, I am supposed to see Dr Stanczyk on this coming Monday and I’m told he has no appointments until mid December!I’ve never ever had this lack of care at mercy before and I am at my whits end. I need to know if I’m ok!!

This is my second child and my last ob is retired so I asked for recommendations from friends, so many women suggested that I go through her and now I’m extremely happy that I did. She’s very easy to talk too, she listens to you and makes you feel comfortable; especially if you’re a young patient. I would recommend her to any of my family and friends. ❤️

I waited for 3 weeks to get this appointment... not happy at all.

allyn jones: Do you have endometriosis, suspected or confirmed? Do you like to be gaslit about your pain and dismissed? Do you like being told it can’t possibly be that because of a clean ultrasound when it’s a fact that most cases won’t show up on this imaging study? This is the practice for you! I would not trust this office or their NPs to do a pap smear, let alone anything beyond that. Go literally anywhere else. Like a veterinarian. Or the homeless guy panhandling on the corner outside.

Jaala Scott: Been using this office for all three of my pregnancies. The staff from when you first get there, the nurses and doctors are all amazing! I had the best care and treatment. They always answered and helped me with any concern I had. Would highly recommend them!

Celena Sansom: If I could give this place a 0, I would. The front desk staff is terrible, they won’t even acknowledge you when you walk in. I’ve had to wait an hour past my appointment time before. They don’t bother to respond to MyMercy messages even though they always tell you to use that instead of calling. The doctor was fine, nothing special. She obviously didn’t read my medical records when she saw me. I’ve had multiple appointments here and every time it’s the same terrible service.

Gabrielle Holland: I’ve been coming here since I was pregnant with my first child. I’ve never had to wait very long to be seen. 5-10 minutes max in waiting room and a 5 minute way in the patient room. If people have waited longer, there had to be special circumstances! Some of the staff can be not rude but serious or “matter of fact.” But if I had to deal with emotional pregnant women and over protective dads all day I’d be the same way. That also doesn’t mean it’s always that way. Most of the time they’ve been pleasant! And this is during Covid. We’ve always received great advice and great care here! Now that I’m in transition to post child bearing years I’m elated that Mercy’s nurses and doctors are on the cutting edge of new medicine and information on dealing with the constant changes in a woman’s life!! They’re open minded to new ideas of treatment as well. There’d be less drama for those particularly crabby people in the waiting room if they’d walk a mile in the other person’s shoes before blowing up and writing negative reviews.

Dina McPherson: Out of three appointments, I only saw the doctor once. All other appointments were with the nurse practitioner. She was good.They assumed I knew where to go, and told me to "get labs done and come back." I ended up getting lost in the building and had to ask other people for guidance. Then, they said they'd put in an order for an ultrasound, and it'd happen within two weeks. From the ultrasound she did with the portable one in the office, I was at 34 weeks (I didn't find out about the pregnancy until a week before when I went to my primary for what I thought were digestion issues). So, they thought it was ok for me to wait until 36 weeks for an ultrasound? No.They were not compassionate, did not provide any information that I'd need for something so new/major/impactful, and many of the people acted as if my asking questions were burdensome for them, as if they didn't have time for it. I worked at a hospital system back in Columbia, and I had never experience such disregard. I ended up canceling my last appointment and going with another doctor. They did not even call to make sure everything was ok.Also, they didn't post the bills until three months later, billed the wrong insurance and then gave me an "uninsured discount." I had insurance and called ten times to try to have them fix it and am still dealing with their carelessness.

Jessica Yoder: I have received excellent care here for the most part! I love my doctor. The nurses and receptionists are very sweet! But the lady technician who does the ultrasounds downstairs is a different story! (I forget her name) I was sent down there because the doctor was worried about an irregularity with my baby’s heartbeat. She refused to wait for my husband to get there even though he had a 40 min drive and was less than 3 min from the clinic when she started. Also, she refused to let me go to the bathroom first! And I was 39 weeks and 4 days! Then during the ultrasound she had the nerve to make the comment that my bladder looks really full!

OPeebs Peebles: I am high risk for Bicornuate Uterus, recurring IUGR, Postpartum Pre-Ecclampsia, and previous Inverted T Cesarean. I have been dropped 10 weeks before we should have a cesarean scheduled due to my doctor for the last 4 years leaving the practice. Now I have no doctor and haven't been given anything but excuses and the run around. Very disappointed.

Shannon Glass: This office wanted me to wait 5 weeks to find if my IUD was in place, expelled, or floating in my abdomen. Hateful women. Dull and negative atmosphere. I will not be back nor do I recommend anyone bringing new life into the word to have to deal with such negativity.....I'm relatively new to the area, so when I had a miscarriage in June (while I'm supposed to have an IUD in place) I called this office bc the Dr was taking new patients. Being very concerned about the IUD possibly not being in place I explained to them why I needed to be seen quickly. The "soonest" date they had was 3 weeks out. Last week (July 19th) I arrive early for my appointment to a walk-in clinic style waiting room. Very dull. Negative atmosphere. A tiny tv for children's entertainment, no toys. The receptionist is hateful at best. Hardly speaks two words to me. 30 min after my appointment time I'm finally called back to be greeted by a somewhat friendly nurse. I saw the Drs nurse practitioner who wasn't friendly. She didn't say a word to my kids, one of whome is 5 and was trying to be chatty. She examined me and did not find the strings to my IUD and informed me I needed an ultrasound to be done asap. She leaves with nothing said, doesn't offer to answer questions, I go to the front desk to the hateful young women again. Who informed me I can have an ultrasound done on Monday at 9:45. Today (July 24) I go to my appointment only to find out it's for next Monday (July 31). And I can not have my children present for the ultrasound. Luckily this receptionist is friendly and understands my stress of not knowing if the IUD is in place or not and called another office who allows children in the ultrasound room.

Emily Burton: Literally impossible to get into contact with a doctor or nurse. If you call and try to follow the menu prompts, there isn't even an option to talk to a doctor and trying to leave a message for a nurse will get you hung up on.

Cheyann Hopkins: This review is only in regards to Dr.Franklin. She is the absolute best. Every appointment she makes sure to spend a good amount of time, asks several times if I can think of any more questions than what I have. Made my husband comfortable at appointments and delivery. I trust her completely with my pregnancies. I’m so happy to have found her. During a miscarriage she took her time with me, showed such kindness to us and guided me through my pregnancy with my rainbow baby. 10/10 recommend her.

Rachel Ford: I saw Dr. David Tillman for the first time on 6/14/2022 and had an excellent experience with him. He listened to all my questions and concerns and didn't treat me like I was stupid for the questions I asked or the concerns I expressed. He is the best gynecologist I've seen! Highly recommend him to anyone!

Amy Holtzclaw: When I was 18 (2 years ago) I went to see Dr.Ott for a couple of problems that I needed fixed. Her solution was to make put me on birth control that in return made me vomit daily for months unable to hold anything down. $600 later and the problems still remain.

Everyone is friendly, which is hard to find these days. My only regret is that I didn't have him as my doctor all this time!!!!!

They didn't tell me everything I would need for my appointment so whenI came I was unprepared so we couldn't even do what I made the appointment for. And then they billed me for that appointment even though they didn't do anything other than tell me to come back another time!

Tyonna Ferder: I had Dr. Wiese as my OB throughout my pregnancy and she was amazing! She was very kind and caring and made sure I had what I needed for a healthy pregnancy. I ended up having a C-Section and was so glad she waa there to deliver my son. I'm not comfortable with medical procedures and was very nervous about the entire thing. She made sure that I was okay and ready. I never felt rushed and her staff was amazing. All the people in her office are wonderful from the front desk as soon as you walk in to the ladies who do scheduling and checking you out. I would definitely recommend using their office to anyone who asks. Sometimes they can have a longer than normal wait but keep in mind that they may be much needed by a patient going through something. Even if the wait was long, they made sure you got the care and attention you deserve as a patient.

Mattia Schlientz: If you are wanting somewhere fast DO NOT go here. If your appointment is at 9:15 expect them to have you arrive at 9 and expect to not to go back until atleast 11. Ive came here for years and every time i dread coming i have to clear my whole day because of how long it takes.

Usually don't put a lot of stock in reviews but the extremely low rating they recieved makes perfect sense from first hand experience. It was a disaster from the first visit (pre-screening) on staff is rude and honestly look like they hate their jobs every time you visit. If you want the lowest standard of prenatal care in Greene Co. look no further!! Expect no communication on everything from test results to billing and payment info. Had to stay on my doctor constantly just for basic routine care. After a scare that would potentially lead to a C-section delivery- had to remind her what I was there for, why we did an ultrasound that day to even find out about the outcome of that as she had completely forgotten. Look at a chart how hard is it!? AND was threatened by my Dr. Megan Rooney-Thompson, All in ONE visit!! Jam packed full of horrible patient care and customer service. Steer Clear if you are an expecting mother. Needless to say I switched doctors. If I can't trust your office as a whole to do your basic day to day jobs correctly, no way would I trust you to deliver my child in one piece.

Ashley Bates: Dr. Richmond and his nurse are amazing. However, the poor review is due to the staff that deal with the files and answer the phone. They are always so rude,and constantly refuse to let me speak to my doctor or nurse when they've told me to call them. They have also placed others people's personal medical information in my file multiple times before that I have access too, and bc of this messed up some of my medical records which may be a violation of HIPAA. I really like my doctor but may be going somewhere else if these staffing issues aren't corrected.
