Debra Turner: A long wait
Day: It is really hard to judge the whole facility. There was one really rotten dr working there whom I would love to publicly name, but I won't. Everyone else has been respectful. It would be really nice if there was a women's clinic here. It really sucks driving all of the way to Fayetteville for that.

Chad Palmer: I have lived all over the U.S. and this one and the one in Tulsa, OK are by far my best experiences. The staff is great and the facility is new. Can do almost everything here and if they can't they send you to either Arkansas one or the one in Columbia, MO. The Columbia one is much better in my experience, if you have a choice (which they always gave me) choose that one. Great staff and they really work hard to take care of you. They are way better than civilian doctors because they actually want to fix you so you don't keep coming back.

bryan hagebusch: Went for the 1st Covid shot. They were efficient and very friendly. I didn't feel the injection at all. They watched over me for 15 mins to make sure i didn't have any reactions.

Veterans Service Officer: Outstanding professional staff, they were friendly and knowledgeable. their staff actually develops your claim and spends the quality time to explain the process of filing a claim and answered the questions our family had about VA health care and benefits while treating us with respect. The VSO Mark Cohan took my case on and help me though it which resulted in me Getting a 100% rating and now im getting the help i need.Mark is very vested and up to date with all laws regarding Veteran's rights there are many of Us that are thankful For him i carry his Cards with me and if i have any vets that come up to me and are not getting there Questions answered i hand them his card, i love to go visit him at his office he keeps it very professorial and clean and the coffee is always one

Ob Bop: I could fill several pages full of compliments to the many people within the Springfield VA clinic (it is a clinic, not a VA hospital). Those medical professionals saved my life. I thank them along with the USA taxpayers whose taxes allowed the VA to exist. "Thank you" taxpayers!!! I know I speak for many veterans. You folks are greatly appreciated. All of you. It takes a team to accomplish a goal as large as tending to injured and diseased people, and with the dedication of the workers within the VA and the funding by productive citizens across the USA the efforts are successful.
Mike Runnebaum: New to the VA system and all I knew about the VA was the horror stories you always heard. Not this place, I have had nothing but amazing care. Appointments have always been right on time and the staff here is incredible. Very sad to be moving away, hope I find another one as top notch as this facility! Thank you so much Springfield VA.

WindWoman 3: I met with the VSO here about filing a new V.A. claim. Can’t say I really ‘clicked’ with the woman, but whatever. I needed to request a copy of my DD-214. She printed it off, I signed. She said it might take “a while.” What does that mean? “Could be months. 8-9, maybe more. Not sure.” (She’s got to be kidding . . . right? Right?) That was a long time ago. Silencio. Nothing. Nada. Prior to her, I drove to SGF and met that VSO. I liked him. Pleasant guy, seemed very competent. No movement whatsoever. I finally called months later - only to be told he no longer worked there. He wasn’t even a VSO anymore! He’d take another job elsewhere and apparently didn’t bother informing his clients. Um, yeah. I think I’m done w/ VSOs.
Ob Bop: A big "THANKS" to the fine folks at the Missouri State veteran center for the assistance they have energetically provided me. Their devotion to doing the job properly, competently and completely sets a great example for both the public and private sectors to emulate. The veterans of this area are lucky to have these folks assisting us.
Bob Hammerschmidt: David Schad was very helpful in determining whether or not it would be worth the time and effort to file for benefits for my elderly mother. Having spent hours trying to navigate the VA's unfriendly website, I would have been better served to contact the Missouri Veterans' Commission first. I am very grateful for David's concise and helpful discription of the services available to the widow's of WWII veterans and what it takes to qualify.
