Superior Auto Detail And Paint Correction: They're always super helpful and nice BUT I'm happy to tell you that last night I left a $100 bottle of cologne there. Was trying on shoes and left it on the seat, once I got home I realized it but they were already closed.This morning I called and told them and they said instantly that they have it so I was able to come get it. Anyone that works there could have easily just kept it and nobody would've ever know but they put it up for me and I really really appreciate that kind of honesty and integrity. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

Ameto Galu: Just went there today, don't ever fall for their 25 percent off deal. They scam us on buying a freaking hoodie with the discount on it but apparently the discount is already included in the price where the signs says, 25 percent off. I ask the dude at the door for help and I let him know the situation, he wasn't much of a help. He try to tell me that I have no idea what I was talking about. Slow service at the cash register, too many employees standing around doing nothing. Terrible store to shop, never go back there. You guys scam people.

Lanie Thompson: My dad and I were over here today to return a dog collar because it had been defective ever since about 10 days ago and there were a couple of other people in front of us which we kindly waited until we got our turn. There were other workers in the register booth socializing while we waited in line. Both of us kindly asked for a manager and we told her the situation and she interrupted both of us to say and I quote her words "you should've brought it in the moment it broke" in a very unprofessional manner. She then went on to say that I can't give you a refund. My dad went on to say "why can't you give us a refund?" The store manager replied that we didn't bring it in from the moment it broke. My dad then proceeded to ask "how about a store credit if it is easier for you?" Again we were both refused and given a customer service number. I find it hard to believe that the store doesn't have a register function for refunds exchanges for store credit. Furthermore, when we called the customer service line where we were referred to a chat box online, where we would have to start the process all over again. It is unfortunate that a repeat customer is treated like this in store and by customer service representative on the phone. We will not buy from this store ever again and with the hoops we had to go through in customer service it is very likely we will seek other businesses with same or similar product offerings. Let the buyer beware. Make sure nothing you buy from Rally House is not defective although you probably won't know that until it falls apart on you. Where upon you will probably go through this kind of hastle like we did.

Skip Gorz: Well, the last time I was in a Play It Again was in Des Moines, IA many years ago. They had used equipment. I'd say this was 3 times the size I expected and had more new than old! I was there to run in and buy a used softball to shape an old glove I came across. And amidst a large basket of what looked like brand new softballs, I did find a cruddy old old softball! Just what I wanted! So, then I forgot about my wife waiting on the car because I had walk the store. This is much closer to a full fledged, broad activity sporting goods store. I was doing OK working my way from right to left. I was down to one more aisle. I looked up and saw the longest, highest 2 rows of brand new baseball gloves I've ever seen! The seemed to have every manufacturer represented, from A2000 down to Franklins. It was the only time I've been able to view the differences first hand....then, of course, I walked to the counter with my old softball, cursing my 74 stuff years and 300 pounds. Every spring I get this way and though I can't move much anymore, it was still the biggest thrill I've had in a year!...Maybe 10!

s clingan: I called to inquire about the prices of their pickle ball paddles, and was told from $20-$100. I arrived at the store 15 minutes or less after placing the call. I could not locate the $20 paddle and inquired. The clerk informed me "they must have sold out of them, but their best deal was now $54 for two paddles and two balls". That might be a deal, but not the price I was quoted on the phone. The clerk said they were sorry, but it does not impress me when they try to upsell you on a product they quoted you on the phone for $34 less.

S Terry: Great deals on used and new equipment, hands down, but I had something embroidered and it was about 3 weeks late and they charged about $10 more than I was quoted initially. There was some winter weather in the mix, which they said was part of the issue, but they did a very poor job of updating me unless I bugged them about it. I was told multiple times I would be getting a call back about the status of my order every time I inquired, but that didn't happen once. I didn't mind paying what they asked, as it was part of a gift for my son, but it would have been nice to have been told an honest price upfront. I'm not sure that I'll be personalizing anything like that with them again.

You've got to get to know your customers and go the extra mile (special orders, etc.), which, frankly No One in Springfield retail seems to. But, again, this store has the stuff.

KyLee Anette: Had a pretty disappointing experience during my recent visit to Bass Pro Shop here in Springfield, MO. The visit started out pretty good, I went with my family looking for some camping gear. We then stopped at the Riffle Coffee shop for some coffee. The cashier there asked what I wanted and I ordered, things seemed fine at that point in time. I then sat and waited for what seemed like 15 minutes for my drink. Everyone else got their drinks, even people behind me in line received their drinks before I did. I ordered a simple Iced Vanilla Latte. Finally they called my drink out and the taste of the coffee was really horrible. It didn’t taste anything like a latte, more like a cold brew with zero sweetener. I went back to the counter and the cashier who had taken my order earlier was still there. So I asked if it would be possible if they could remake my drink since I spent $6 on it and the young lady didn’t even look up at me and said I could add some sugar, almost as if she was gritting her teeth through the sentence. The ladies in the back didn’t even offer to remake it or even bother to step in. I was pretty upset that I was treated that way. Not sure why the simplest of things are such an inconvenience for some people, but they don’t have to worry about me returning to their coffee shop. I’m a young adult who has literally worked at a coffee shop myself and I never mistreated customers like that. Hopefully Bass Pro Shop can, in the future, train their employees to treat their customers better. Pretty sure the saying is “ The Customer Is Always Right. “
