Amazin Asian LLC: what do users think?
Justin Baker: Great food and good prices. Service was good too.
David Halsell: Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Cody Strange: Absolutely delicious pho; best in town! The pot stickers were amazing as well.Recommended dishes Pho Xao, Pot Sticker 6pc …More
Connie Westerman: Waiter was not able to communicate clearly in English. He also did not know the specials of the day. (They were on a board for all to see.) He did not now there were options to choose from, so this confused him. Our orders were incorrect. Fried food tasted as if it was fried in OLD oil. Crab rangoon was OK, but see comment on oil. This input is from 6 of us. I do not understand how it was rated #1 in Springfield.
Daniel Inlow: Food was salty didn'thave much flavor . I was sappost get a soda and didn't
Alexandria Obrenovich: Super impressed with the quality of the meat and veggies. And everything fried is deliciously flakey. Best fried dumplings ive ever had.
Andrew Baptista: My go to for Chinese and Vietnamese food. The pho (P2) is amazing! As a family my wife loves to Hofun (HS2) and my daughter loves the Orange Chicken and noodles!! Kong exceeds our expectations every single time!!
Asif Ishtiaque: I have no idea why this restaurant got 4.5 stars. The staff were nice but the food was bland. They put the same sauce (which is soy sauce) in all food. Below average taste of food.
MellowTheWillow: Messed up my order.Food: 1/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Fran Day: Items were missing from our order and food did not live up to the hype.
Natalie Rollins: Good food but you cannot call in an order. The phone line does not work. So use Hong Kong Inn if you want a pickup order.
Robert Reeves: I love the General chicken. In a town that overplays cashew chicken it’s hard to find general chicken and it’s the best in Springfield. I’m really not sure which is more Amazin the food or the friendly staff. They really treat you well
titusvideo: Great food and lots of it but just a little too expensive. I had some sticker shock but enjoyed every bite 😀
Austin Presko: Awesome place! The hot and spicy soup was amazing!Recommended dishes General TSO's Chicken …More
Konado Bisumber: Interesting little place, good food and good vibe.
Jennifer Shelton: I got Kung Pao Beef and Ginger Chicken and they were both amazing! Their sauces really seem less oily, salty and sweet than a lot of places around here. I definitely appreciate loads of flavor and seemingly more healthy at the same time. The fresh pineapple in the Kung pao beef was such a nice touch! Great portions for the price.
James Ashlock: The food was good but average in comparison to other Asian eateries. When we walked in the first thing I saw was a big dog! My guest was not happy to see that when we walked in. I guess that's not totally the owner's fault.Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Rhonda Young: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Savannah Skinner: Made an order for sesame chicken and fried rice. They gave me chicken that was so overcooked and tough it bent my fork. The rice was sticky rice with some egg thrown into it, not fried at all. And the broccoli that came on top was old and brown. Would never waste another dollar here.
Bryan Jewell: Fantastic orange chicken. It's very sweet so be forewarned.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jared Thomas: As a single dude they keep giving me my food to go like I'm some door dasher; Used to be one of my favorite places to eat.Sat down inside and the guy behind me ordered the general, Looked amazing. I had to ask for a menu. And for the second time despite sitting inside, and asking for a menu, they packed my ish up to go without asking; legit got like 2 pieces of broc. To say my version looked depressing by comparison is an understatement. Not to mention the difference in what they can fit in a to go container. All I wanted was a nice sit down meal.Google question in the form for this review: "did you dine in or take out?"😑I'd say next time I'll sit at the four person table to make it more obvious but I'm honestly so disappointed it'll be a while before I drive back down to South side just to drive my bagged up food home to eat it.

Tong's Thai Restaurant: what do users think?
Serena Villela: The Drunken Noodles with beef are amazing!! We like to add the garlic sauce with ours. The server recommended it and he was exactly right. Some of the appetizers weren’t for us (tried new things) but the items we did order were outstanding. Already been back again!Wheelchair accessibility: All ramps in the building, I noticed. Didn’t use a wheel chair or stroller to test out accessibility in bathrooms though.
Dan Robbins: Service was prompt, food was excellent, and the atmosphere was nice! Great Crab Rangoon. I had the yellow curry with lots of chicken and vegetables, the medium heat was perfect for my palate.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Ryan Holiday: If you don't want it done wrong, get it from Tongs!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5Recommended dishes Drunken Noodle, Pad Thai Noodles …More
Jonathan: Ok who forgot to tell me about Tong's? I mean that is just cruel! If I had known about Tong's, this review would be five years old by now! I'm glad tho, because I've, unfortunately, had a recent rash of one star reviews. When I started writing reviews, I swore to myself I would not inject more negativity into a world that's already bursting at the seams with it. However, some experiences are so dreadful they need to be shared as a warning to others, in order to try to help them avoid a similar experience. I felt obligated to break a promise I made to myself multiple times and it was getting me down but now I get to write another, well deserved, five star review!Okay you're probably wondering "what about Tong's?". What about it? After sixteen years of industry work and 15 more years of appreciation, I've experienced a lot of culinary delights. I have enjoyed many delicious sensations brought on by a lot of various culinary practices from across the globe. I'll put it like this: my taste buds are jaded and they're used to just about everything. I'm hard to surprise. Tong's literally gave my mouth sensations that I had never experienced before. My wife and I ordered a salad, appetizer and two entrees, and the flavor combinations used in the entrees (all so So SO delicious) were so different from the other, it was surreal. I tried the entree she ordered after taking a few bites of mine and everything just kind of faded away as I got lost in the flavors, it seemed like none of the same seasonings were used however both dishes had flavors that would change and evolve in your mouth, while you chewed! We talked about it while we ate, she's an industry veteran as well. You know that after glow feeling new couples get after they romance each other? Well I have a quite similar after glow feeling from eating Tong's food lol. It IS that good! I have so many words at my disposal: I'm a published journalist (75 + articles, but that's an entirely different story), but all of them miserably fail to impart how good this food is. I'm speechless. Anyway, if you don't know, you should enrich your life by finding out. Who knows? Maybe you'll find your purpose in life! Maybe you'll quit drinking! Maybe your depression will be cured! Maybe you'll invent faster than light travel! I don't know, but I do know you'll be feeling better off in general after eating at Tong's! Go tomorrow!
Rick Hendriks: Spicy Hot Siam beef was very good along with the crab ragoon appetizer we had. Will be going back for more menu items!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
C Breeden: Pleasant service, but I don’t understand the 5 star reviews. I guess if you’ve never had Thai food you’d think this was it idk. The food is salty, and not prepared well.
Rita Birt: The very best place in Springfield. Love the ambiance, the frienliness of the owner and staff. Prompt service. Best Grouper ever !!! I can never wait to go back.
Marcia Carol Miller-McLaury: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lotMore
Cole Huffman: So good!!
Cortlan Olson: Always have had a great experience here! This place deserves to be way busier than it is! Most entrees are only $10-$18!
Lori Reid: Loved it
jesse townsend: Best Thai food in Springfield!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

5 Spice China Grill: what do users think?
Laurie Wolters: So sad, this used to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in Springfield. We should have gotten up and left when we saw the anemic menu. The fried rice was a dried out joke. The spring rolls were cheap substitutions of what they used to serve. The general chicken was overcooked and dry. My egg drop soup was a ridiculously thickened mess. Someone near us got the lettuce wraps, and they serve iceberg lettuce with it. Where is the bib lettuce? So sad I forsee this restaurant shutting its doors. We won't be back.
Emilea Blair: Give Alex a ✨raise✨ he’s the best
Joshua Berzins: The food and service are always great at 5 Spice! In my opinion this is the best Chinese restaurant in Springfield.
Angeline Hein: There are a variety of foods to choose, something for everyone. The meals are consistently well prepared.
Kevin Lanning: Brittany took good care of us. The cream cheese wontons were amazing and the sweet & sour chicken was delicious.
Zoey Hupman: Great food and the service was great as well! The servers were fun and good at what they do!
Mitch Van Cleave: Eaten here repeatedly over the years and it's been consistently good. Best place in SGF for Asian cuisine.
c warren: If you haven’t been into 5-Spice for a while you are missing out. Alex, the general manager has made each of my visits to the restaurant one to remember. He and his staff are always very friendly and make sure you have all you need. If he or Brittany are your servers you can be assured an enjoyable meal. I’ll definitely be coming back..the food is incredible too.
Becca James: Food was great, especially the Lobster and cream cheese wontons.Alex, our server was fantastic. We will be back!!
DJ Stone: I am a truck drive who hauls food all over. I can't go into restaurants with my truck, so I had to use Uber eats. Well, they didn't even pay attention to the notes and messed up my order. If you order from this place via Uber eats, I'd call them to add or subtract anything because it won't get done.
Alex Spalding: Favorite Dishes: Beef and Broccoli noodles, Buddha's Feast, Cashew ChickenI vaguely remember when this place opened. If I remember correctly, the rumor was it was a stumbling experience for the owners as they didn't have Cashew Chicken on the menu early on. For those who don't know, you can't open a Chinese restaurant in Springfield, Missouri and not put Cashew Chicken on the menu, regardless of how good the food is. Unless you're just so big and self-important that you don't have to care, like Panda Express, there's no way around this fact. So, they put it on the menu asap. I do know that coming here was the first time I ever saw the dish referred to as "Springfield-style Cashew Chicken" -- well, you're in Springfield, so shouldn't it just be "Cashew Chicken"? Until I tried Chinese food outside of the Ozarks, I had no idea there was another dish referred to as cashew chicken, with grilled chicken and celery. Anyway, the way they make it at 5 Spice is perfect, so you can't go wrong ordering it here. For those who would enjoy trying anything else, the menu has a lot of very excellent dishes, with my favorites being the Buddha's Delight, one of the best tofu and vegetable dishes I've ever had anywhere, and the delicious beef and broccoli with wok-fired noodles is amazing also. If I could cook tofu the way they do here, I'd be rich, it's amazing.
Caitlin Vincel: Alex is amazing! Friendly service!
Donald Scroggins: Always great lobster wontons are the bestFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Crab Rangoon, Fried Rice, General TSO’S Chicken Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More

Carson Conrad: Kaylee was great
Matthew Sheppard: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Fried Rice, Sweet Rim Fire Mango Chicken, General TSO’S ChickenMore
Hunter Ambrose: Very good food, very friendly service
Thomas Price: Started with the Crispy Lobster and Cream Cheese stuffed Wontons. You DONT have to settle for cream cheese and sugar! 6 of these monsters was on 7.95!As well as the pot stickers for 8.95 enough for multiple people. Crispy on the outside and nice tender flavorful meat inside. Came with 2 sauces on the plate. The best I’ve ever had.I went with the FIVE SPICE SIGNATURE WOK FRIED NOODLES with shrimp Loaded up.with carrots, broccoli, celery, red and green peppers and I chose beef. A rich garlic ginger sauce that hit all the umami and the veggies were perfect tendercrisp and the steak slices nice and tender. My brother ordered Kung Pao beef with fried rice . However waitress made a mistake and brought him Mongolian Beef with fried rice. She apologized and said she could correct the order. He was ok with it & just asked for siracha sauce to replace the heat aspect. Both dishes were excellent.Service was just meh . She didn’t have sweet tea, but offered sugar packs or sweetener. Then mixed up his order. Checked on us a few times and we were sat near the front and could over hear her talking bad about drive thru customersCheck out 5 Spice!

C J: Convenient and super fresh, authentic Chinese food. Love the green beans and the chicken or beef stir fry. Quick and friendly service. 😊Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5 …More
Christopher Clark: Really exceptional Chinese food in Springfield. Lots of flavors come through in each dish. Service is prompt. Great option if looking for more authentic Chinese food in Springfield. Not great if you’re looking for cashew chicken or other more Americanized dishes.
Amanda Schilling: Have had there food a couple times and it's good. However recently had really bad food poisoning from here and now a bit worried to go back.Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Steve Sanders: This hole-in-the-wall restaurant has THE BEST Chinese food I have EVER had. Mind blowing. It's a family operation, multi-generational, and you can tell they care. The first time I stopped in, I asked for an order of eggrolls. The owner's son, mid 20s, Chinese American, looked at me with disdain. “We only serve authentic Chinese food here.“THAT IS A GOOD THING. You will not be disappointed. I went back just two weeks later, this time with my family.
Jen Deall: Holy Cow!! Chinese foodie to the max and this place hits (most) every point. Authentic is an understatement. Every plate has its own unique flavors. Don't go expecting ambience or high end service. Truly a MUST GO for food. I altered a weekly business trip to a different day since they are closed on Mondays. Worth it.Food: 5/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Michael Gaudio: Got the pork belly with rice noodle and the cilantro lamb. Both were amazing. Huge portions great service. Felt like being in China.
Dalton Altizer: MIND BLOWING FOOD! the sweet and sour pork is the single best Asian dish I've ever had. The chicken is so good, it makes other chicken look bad. Tony Chien: I was looking for a good Chinese restaurant while I was in Springfield for a weekend. I decided to give this restaurant a try due to a high Google rating. The restaurant was small. It had simple decor and austere furniture. It was packed with customers when we arrived. We did have to wait a little bit for our food. Fortunately, the food presentation was excellent, and the portion was plentiful. The food was delicious and tasteful. It had a menu of authentic Chinese food. The price was reasonable. I would recommend anyone to come either early or late to avoid crowds during lunch and dinner time due to a limited seating capacity.
Ben Smith: Amazing real Asian, everyone so nice!

dave smith: We came in on a sunday, it was busy but food was amazing and portions are big. We spent $50 for two people
Van duh Bik: That lazy server tip himself 20% with terrible service, i dont know where all these good reviews came from. They’re probably bots.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Lonnie Smith Sr: The server was rude from the start. When I looked at the prices.OUTRAGEOUS!!!Not in Springfield. If I spend $20 on lunch it better be my birthday. We didn't stay and eat.We went to another Chinese Restaurant that didn't have financing available.
Mo Hardy: Hands down the best Chinese food I've ever had. The braised pork belly is outstanding! SO full of flavour and luxuriously tender. Everything was fantastic and I cannot wait to go back. Food so good you'll be thinking about it for a few days after!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Braised Pork Belly with Noodles …More
Caitlin: This is still one of my absolute favorite places to eat in springfield. I moved away last year and come back every couple months to visit family, every time I come back I have to go to Corner 21.The egg tofu on sizzling plate is delicious and stays hot the whole meal, it's possibly my favorite restaurant dish in all of springfield.
Linkhey LC: This small, unassuming building will fool you. A little white box on a corner but it is definitely a spot you will keep coming back to. Try something new each time, there is nothing bad here

elysha mcadoo: So disappointed. They used to be my go too order for Chinese delivery as we are just outside of town. The egg drop soup was a favorite until today. Our order was correct, but not as good as it has been. The egg drop soup was just wrong. It tasted un seasoned. The crab Rangoon was half burnt and pretty un stuffed. Our mains, an orange chicken and cashew chicken, were dry in the meat and soggy in the rice. Even our side of low mein noodles was under sauced and bland. Overall it was way below our expectations and super disappointing. I didn't even get any soy sauce on the side (after asking for extra). I don't know what changed, but hopefully for the other regular customers they figure it out. I know it will be some time before I give them a chance again.

Kids meals are bland enough for my (No Spice) picky pint-sized eaters at home, and they always make mine pleasantly spicy up on request.Eating here occasionally for almost 8yrs--Never a bad experience.
Jake Young: Got some sort of worm in my food at no additional cost today. Reported to the health department. I will never eat here again, and that's sad because it used to be good. While I was there, it was north side bum central too. Asking for water, using the restroom, going through the dumpster. EVERYWHERE.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More

Ha Ngan Hoang Beavers: 1 Star for the food as honestly, it is decent. Not great but at an okay level.0 Star for the service quality. For whatever reason, they never have enough servers, thus the food is always served slowly. For those with jobs who just have an hour for lunch, this is not the place to eat. I know that, so I started getting pick-up orders instead. Also, whenever I placed a pick-up order, I always called at least 45 minutes beforehand to confirm.Unfortunately, at least 6 times out of 10 they have made me wait an extra 20 minutes or more for a pick-up order. The last time I made a pick-up order for two meals, they estimated that it would take 20 to 25 minutes which was totally fine with me. And when I came in to pick up my food, I was already 10 minutes late.Guess what? The food wasn't ready yet. We had to wait there because my sister had already paid for the food. Another 35 minutes passed. It seemed that they did not make our food until we showed up... And an important note, the dine-in at the time I came in was not busy at all. It was kinda dead, and I saw no dirty tables left so I figured it might have not been even busy there before I came in. So we waited an hour for a two-meal pick-up order.I would have not minded if they told me to pick up my food an hour later while they were on the phone with me. I just hate that they always make me wait an extra 20 minutes or more (like this time, 35 minutes) when I already arrive. This shows that they have ZERO RESPECT to their customers and their customers' time. Also, they never apologized to me when making me wait that long. The chef/owner always looks very unfriendly and grumpy.I used to work at several restaurants and I understand that sometimes, things may get crazy and you cannot satisfy every customer, and unpleasant moments may happen. But this has been a pattern and becoming very unacceptable.Another thing that I am concerned is that kids running around in the kitchen. Like little kids around 2-3 years old. Thats not safe.I had been a frequent customer and even referred this restaurant to many other people I know. Now not anymore. People I know who have came here also complained about the service quality and speed of the service.

Treezus Christ: Stopped for the long line cuz I figured there was good too turns out it was just slow service.
Jennifer Shelton: If I could give zero stars I would. I had the sesame chicken and general chicken. The chicken was terrible on both, a lot of the breading was gone from the chicken and it was chewy. The portions were small for over $10 and both of the sauces tasted exactly the same just like pure syrup. I asked the restaurant why there was no spice to the general chicken and they told me that that was how they make it. I threw both orders away. It was absolutely disgusting. I will never come here again. This was by far the worst Chinese food I have ever had.
Bill Davis: The worst Chinese food I've ever had.

Marilyn Aldridge: Try the New mushroom chicken !! Wonderful ! The best !
Carolina Bonesteel: Drove by this place a few times I thought I’ll give it a try. Big NOPE I ordered orange chicken, some noodles and egg rolls. The worst orange chicken it taste literally like ketchup and the noodle taste like plastic. I told the girl in the front counter these noodles don’t taste great she said I could trade it for fried rice or steam rice so I went with fried rice. The fried rice was terrible very little bits of yellow egg and no seasoning in the rice. Overall the egg rolls were decent. Basically I didn’t get a good meal I literally can’t believe one place has such terrible tasting food. No way iam ever coming back I didn’t ask for my money back for what I took a chance on this place and it disappointed me.
M S (Advocate): Nice clean restaurant, great food, clean restrooms with humane toilet paper! (A restroom trip that doesn't resul in cuts and abrasions from shoddy TP is a win for me!)Lovely experience! I had the Combination with Rice Noodles ❤️
Mackenzi Martin: I will not be returning. I called to fix my order and The lady on the phone was rude and had an attitude. I repeated my order to them and they still got it wrong. Lost a customer.
