They have been friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Even timely and tidy when doing the work. The sales person Chris, is helpful and willing to follow-up with questions during the process. Our electric company employee came today to install the net meter and was impressed with how quickly they received notice that the installation had been completed after the electric company received the initial paperwork. We are very pleased. I hope to follow-up with you when we receive summer and winter bills. The true test will be if solar reduces or eliminates our electricity use from the electric company. Understanding of course that we will always have a distribution fee of about $35.00/mo. Since our home is totally electric including heat, we expect to replace the electric bill with a solar panel cost equal to current expenses.

Jesse Sherman: This company doesn't care about anything but profit. They don't care about their customers or employees. "Customers" are harassed into setting appointments. New employees are thrown to the wolves and told good luck. The lack of empathy is so bad that they will call you and fire you when you're out of town trying to deal with a family member who is elderly and being neglected by caregivers.

Brendan Patten: They installed a 16kw system that went online Jan 2023. Near end of Feb the system developed an issue with 1 string of panels causing 25% drop in output. It did take a little while to get on a schedule to get it fixed. They diagnosed and repaired the issue in one visit. They also come back out and added the inverters to my wired internet connection for better communication. Everyone I have talked to in person has been great. It was a little difficult initially getting someone to tell me when a repair could be made. Some of the office staff failed to return calls, but probably growing pain in a fast growing company. In the end, system is 100% functioning and producing as sold.

Jill Martin: Unfortunately we’ve had more issues with this company and dishonesty from the sales rep when we entered into a contract a few years back. Hopefully this will save someone else some time and headache.If you think you will need a new roof within ten years; do it before you have this company do their panels (or use a different company all together). They will not stand behind their word and will charge upwards of three times the rate of other companies to take down and then reinstall the panels on your roof.

Sara Anderson: I recently back in early Feb. had solar panels installed by simple solar. At first I was relatively happy with the company, however as part of signing up in January we were promised a promotional payment to cover our first 12 months of payments! We were told we would have a check in hand when the install was complete. That turned in to we will send you the promo payment before the first payment is due, which turned in to I have requested the payment and it’s being worked. A few more weeks went by and they told me it would be another week or two. We are now past this 2 week mark and I still haven’t seen anything! They aren’t providing answers! I have called, texted, emailed NUMEROUS times! I was given a phone number for someone named Luke whose inbox is full! I have been extremely patient through the whole thing, but they owe me $2,787 and have not followed through on it!!

Dawn Trueblood: In addition to installing solar panels for us, part of the package included an energy efficient audit of the house. Gaps where we were losing heat and air were filled, ducts were inspected and sealed and am amazing amount of information explained in a way for anyone to understand. Blake was amazing! He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and yet friendly and more than willing to explain everything he was doing and why he was doing it. But on the other hand working for them is a whole different story they treat there employees like garbage under a door mat. I've had to sleep in the truck in down town kansas city because I could not get ahold of any one to get a room booked.they fired 2 of there employees on a Friday 20 Minutes before they started there work day and gave them no reason on why they were getting fired or let go as they said.nor did they pay there employees the pervalen wages like they were supposed to if you didn't use it you lost it is there motto I do not recommend anyone to get solar from simple solar because of the way they treat there employees and I have proof messages that shows how they treat the hard working people that keeps the company going

Hobo: Originally I wasn't gonna leave a review, but after last couple months bills I am not happy. First issue was the damage to my yard (employee tried to drive through wet soil and left ruts, their idea of fixing was putting top soil on it). Second issue was concrete debri left all around base of solar panels. Third humongous issue is how they calculated the amount of solar panels I needed. They go off 12 month calendar average and then determine amount of panels needed to be 100%. Problem is that I have 3 months that are insanely high. When you go off 12mo your creating extra energy for 9mo out of the year which would be nice if the utility company didn't only give you 1/5 of what you pay them per kw.Realistically my system should of been designed for a 9mo average to lower my cost of panels and too make sure I wasn't just allowing the utility company to make money off of me. If I would of known the information beforehand things would of been done differently. I basically paid for extra solar panels to give Liberty utilities more access to cheap energy.

After the solar was turned on, our utility bill dropped to the service charge of $27.00 a month with selling power back to Ozark Electric. We’ve saved almost $4,000 to $5,000 so far by going solar. We have had our solar system working for a year. This has helped our monthly bills tremendously.

Paul Pugner: I was doubtful at first that solar was for my home and shop. I worked with Dennis for a couple of months, asked and got answers that both taught me and answered my questions completely. I then worked with the engineering and installation guys who were also willing to answer all my questions. They located my ground based system in the perfect location to get maximum solar all day. They went above and beyond what I expected especially when they hit rock and had to do so much extra work to get the system in the ground. I trust Simple Solar and their people in all their dealings and have to complement all their staff for being so customer oriented. I’m now working with another great Simple Solar staff member, Cathy, who is getting me all the after installation operational data and connected to the monitoring systems. Simple Solar is an honest and great company to work with.

Dennis is always polite, professional, and helpful. Also, there is an incentive right now where Simple Solar makes your first 12 payments (thank you 😊). The set-up crew was amazing: knowledgeable, efficient, and quick. My house was done over 1 day. Cathy (who takes care of the paperwork) is the bomb: quick and extremely accurate. If you are thinking of doing this, the paperwork is extensive and Simple Solar takes care of it. Am waiting for Laclede to turn the system on. More to follow! I am glad I did this!My system has been on since the afternoon of July 1st, 2020. Look how much energy has been produced (375 kWh and todays not over)! I don't stress about the summer heat and electricity. Will do a final post when I see my electric bill.

In a time that most companies do not care about or do not know how give you good customer service or the people they send to do the work their appearance is poor - this company is highly professional in every step from the beginning to the end. Also they will be with you after the job is complete.

David Stevens: I entered into my decision to have a solar electric system installed after consulting my financial consultant as to the financial investment involved. He looked at all the numbers regarding the investment and return on investment telling me it is an excellent investment to make. I have been more than happy with Simple Solar. These people have been excellent in working with us. The hardest thing I had to do was open the garage door to allow them access into my attic. My system today is currently generating 26.0 kWh and the electric meter indicates my system is sending a lot of electricity to City Utilities here in Nixa becoming a credit for me on our electric bill. This has been a very good experience for my wife and me. Give these people a call and allow yourself to be impressed by their installation.

theadamshow: 11/7/19: My solar panels are installed . Just waiting on the inspector and the electric company to install the new meter.I am excited and nervous at the same time about this investment. Hopefully I won't regret it. For the next few months I will be posting updates here for learning purposes and offering my objective opinion.My disappointment was the salesman, he was polite and everything, but intentionally or not fed me couple wrong info. I felt like he treated me just like another presentation. If it was not for Dennis -the sales manager I believe- I would not say yes to these solar panels.The electrician and his crew did a wonderful job and acted professional. So far I am happy with simple solar and can't wait to start my system and see the savings they promised.12/9/19: My solar system finally got approved by the county inspector. Simple solar was fast at fixing the little adjustments that were needed after the first inspection.It sucked that I started paying the system before I started using it, but Cathy -customer service manager- gave me no chance to be upset. She told me simple solar will be paying this month electric bill, which is awesome! Ameren also told me that I will need to pay for the new biometric meter, simple solar paid for that too. Whoohoo!!12/14/19: Ameren installed the new meter. Unfortunately the panels are covered with snow, so not noticing much energy produced.12/20/19: Temp was 40 degrees outside today, all the snow melted and panels are exposed to sun, and I can tell big improvement in the energy produced. I'm not a big fan of the app used to monitor the energy produced, but with some digging I may find something better. YES I'M STILL HAPPY I CHOSE SIMPLE SOLAR..2/6/20: So far I'm happy with my system, it's not making much energy but it's the winter. I'm pretty sure the summer will make up for it.I will conclude my review by saying I'm a little disappointed with simple solar. After I signed the contract and the system was on the roof, the process start slowing down, and I felt like they gave less attention to my project. I had to remind/ask them about the next step, and I felt like I was bothering them. I have 2 inverters and could not connect one of them to the internet, they said they could not fix it and they could not figure it out. I found out the labels on both inverters were reversed so I was using the wrong password, so I got it fixed!Will I go with simple solar again? YES. But, I will tell the bank to not pay them until the project is fully done AND ACTIVE.
