Jeff Johnson: I accompanied my husband today 8.11.20 to the dump. All good EXCEPT and especially in a day and time of covid And germs we were given a hard hat and vest each to wear for safety. That’s all great EXCEPT that they are not clean. They are not sanitized. I would wager to say they have NEVER been cleaned. Smelled 50 times worse than the trash dump. No sanitary at all. Legal counsel was provided.Queen City did NOT make legal use of a certified repossesor or legal aid as a witness such as a police officer or local detective. Therefore they CAN be Legally and Criminally Trespassed for stealing their own trash can off my property! Oh tis a great day to know the law!The drivers get the 2 stars, but the overall professionalism is the main reason....I had called after some serious financial hardship and dealing with a close personal death and made arrangements to have 1 cart removed and payment arrangements made...I tried to take my trash out since pick up is tomorrow...and they trespassed on my property without warning, notice or consent, caught on my security cameras and took their cart, my only remaining one, and proceeded to inform me that trespassing was legal for them... and are asking me for over $100, and a missed scheduled pick up in order to bring the cart they trespassed and stole back to me....my financial hardship is rough enough so the $50 i had for trash just wasn't enough. Molly Marley: I called about their recycling service not being provided one week. The woman who answered was very short and rude. She said they didn't run it because of the snowstorm so they put the recycling trucks on the trash routes to get their primary reason for business covered. I said I understood that, but I still paid for a service that was not provided. She said the service was provided during the next recycling pickup week. I let her know it was not provided on Jan 30 because of the weather. She stated it was provided. I let her know I had to put my recycling in the trash service/cart for 1 pickup cycle because the recycling cart was full/overflowing with lack of pickup on Jan 30. She said they provided the service, and it was not her fault that we decided to put recycling in trash bags. I told her that was no choice, because with the service not being provided, the cart was full and overflowing. We had no choice. I told her I expected a partial refund. She again reiterated that it wasn't their fault that we put some of the recycling in the trash bin and the service WAS provided 2 weeks later on the next recycling pickup day. She was extremely RUDE. I let her know that’s a service for which we paid that was not provided. She, again, said it WAS provided on the next pickup week 2 weeks later and that there were actually 3 pickup weeks in January so that 3rd pickup week was one they were providing free because they only pickup twice in a month. I let her know that it nowhere says that it's for 2 pickups. It simply says Recycling service with dates for the quarter (billed quarterly at $30/quarter, aka $10/month). She noted multiple times that they don't provide refunds, period. I told her that's not how business and legal work when a service is paid and not provided. She was rude and I just said "Okay, thanks." I just said "Okay, thanks" and wasn't going to argue over $3.33 for a credit to my account. I decided to just leave it at that and leave this review. I will consider another provider based on services received throughout my tenure with Queen City because I am willing to pay more for quality customer service, but will consider them being a local company and in general regular pickup times. I pay a lot more for groceries, gasoline, internet service, and other necessities because of quality customer service or treatment of their employees. Angela Halleron: Came home today and garbage can was missing, it was weird, so I called, and the lady I spoke to asked if we lived in Marshfield and I said yes. She said they are no longer a provider for Marshfield and they picked up the cans, and a new company (sounded like Patterson) would be bringing us a new can in the next day or two. I said some kind of notice or warning would have been nice and she said the other company should have contacted us, I am about 90% sure the other company will say Queen City should have notified us, we shall see. I asked her if the latest 3-month payment (which covers our pickup through June I believe) will also transfer to new company, she said yes. I asked if she had contact info for new company, she said no. The company has given all my info to a 3rd party including payment info (supposedly) but you can't give me contact info??? So, the only company I could find that sounds close to what she said, is Pederson. They are already closed today and don't reopen til Monday (it is Friday) We chose Queen City because of pricing and Veteran owned (my husband is retired Navy), this is not the first issue we have had and we have tried to be understanding. David HA: Honestly the best trash service in my area. They get the job done. Not sure why people complain about them leaving a mess, i never had that issue. Saw some mentions on them being late or not pick up. There was a couple of holidays and snow storm that delay them. But usually if there's a holiday or bad storm that week they normally operate a day or two off the normal schedule. There also some comments about them not picking up all the trash. But honestly if you overfilling and have trash on the side so often I believe they only allow that once a couple time. But obvly you should either get a second trash can from them or notify them about it. There's normally extra charges for more trash then anticipated every single time. They got stuff on their site that explains it all and if you take the time to read it. You really shouldn't have any issues at all if you know how they operate. Also shout out to my trash man. This morning I forgot to bring out my trash bin. And he was pulling off and I thought I had missed him. Barbara Heying: Cancelled my service today after 2 weeks of not picking up 2 cardboard boxes I didn’t have room to put in the dumpster. The first week I called to let them know all the trash was not picked up. I was informed that boxes needed to be broken down. I explained that I had just been released from the hospital and that I wasn’t able to break down the boxes. I requested someone to pick up boxes and the lady I spoke with said she would see if they could do the pick up. One week later and boxes still there. Poor customer service! And I was paid up to the end of this quarter, January. I then received a email saying I was being billed for 3 months service (February 1 through April 30, 2023 with an additional $20 fee to pick up the dumpster! Plus a nasty little note saying “good luck” with finding a replacement company and that I hadn’t been paying enough. I’ve ALWAYS PAID MY BILL ON TIME so I don’t owe $48 plus $20 fee for dumpster pick up. That dumpster can sit there until doomsday and I have no intentions of paying a $68 bill. My new trash service begins Tuesday January 31 at the same price plus they pick up cardboard boxes if notified ahead of time. Queen City has horrible customer service and rude people. B10 Inc: Republic came by, opened the bin, and left without emptying it. No more. I'm tired of Republic letting this continue.One call to queen city and the new bin was delivered next day. They have picked up my neighbors bins in rain snow and wind. P.s. they are cheaper than Republic. Go with them. Unless you want weeks of yeah piling up.

They did don’t even replace our trash can which has a massive dent and hole in it after running over our mailbox with it! Nick the “manager” was a complete nightmare and not only refused to fix it correctly but was completely arrogant and unprofessional about the mistake HIS company made! I highly suggest NOT doing service with this poorly ran company! Whatever response the company might give on this review won’t change what they’ve done and are not willing to take responsibility for. Prime MilkyWay: POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE EVEN BY THE OWNER, NICKContacted them as I was buying a house in November 2021 about starting service after closing on December 14th. I specifically stated I wanted to pay for the last couple of weeks in December and then pay for the whole year of 2022. was assured there would be no rate increase as I was paying ahead. They named a rate increase as a fuel surcharge when prices of fuel went up, didn't enter my mailing address when I changed it, was assured that it would be no problem since I had paid so far ahead to just pay the fuel surcharge with next bill then received a termination notice before next bill. Last straw was when I found out that they didn't bill it the way i had asked (last 2 weeks in Dec 2021 then full 2022) they had prorated it and had actually delivered the can the day before closing and picked up the day of closing on the house, but before i had actually closed. Talked to the owner who was arrogant and unwilling to live up to anything his employees had said when i contracted the service. Tried to use the fact that i had had a problem with Republic service billing before as a point that it must be my fault not theirs (had paid for all of 2021 with republic services and they had a rate increase mid year they wanted me to pay a higher rate, which is why I had specifically covered with Queen City that if I paid the whole year in advance I would not be affected if I paid a year in advance. - At least Republic Service fixed the issue, even if it took hours on the phone to get to someone who could).EDIT because I just realized this posted under a work related google account, My name is James Farrar and this was a personal account not related to my work.

They made sure I was happy with the job before taking payment.2 common items most people might run into trouble are 1. they can’t take wet paint cans (this is same with most junk removal companies even if you rent a dumpster) -empty dried out paint cans are okand 2. they won’t take yard waste (some companies allow this).Always discuss the items you want to be removed ahead of time and make sure you’re present to show them what needs done.. this makes the process easier for everybody involved.Will be using them again. None of this complaint is libel, slander, hearsay, or written with malice or ill intent. -It can all be proven.**** DO NOT USE THIS SEVICE***I appreciate family owned providers, but with this group, family-owned means that your complaint(s) will NEVER be taken seriously! They are bold, rude, and arrogant! They argue back & and forth with the customer, (even when you are 100% calm and professional). So why are they so unprofessional? It’s because they are family owned, and since families don’t usually discipline employees who are also family members, you are left without resolution with any problem that might arise.Next, this is a trash service with NO WEBSITE and little-to-no online presence, which means getting in touch with this business…, or should I say “family”…, is like pulling teeth. Your call will 100% of the time go to voicemail because- did I mention - there is no call center? There is also no website! That’s right- No website to go to, review your bill and payments, or view updates.About the bill: Even worse, the customer receives no bill or service invoice. I was told to put cash in my mailbox and a driver would pick it up. Because there is no payment tracking system, no matter how often I pay, they will verbally call and say that I still owe. Their payment system, (or the lack thereof), causes bill conflict and lots of confusion.There is a Facebook page but there is record of no response during each time in which we have contacted them. Their Facebook page appears to have a few posts here and there, but nothing on the grand scheme of what one would expect from a trash service.They have frequently failed to pick up our trash and every single time, we are told to put the trash at the curb, and (quote) ”If they get around to it”, someone will come by. -(unquote). Yet, no one ever gets around to it! -Not ever. Usually, inclement weather comes along and the trash that was waiting to be picked up is now all over our yard and/or our neighbor’s lawn.We have record of the things stated herein this review. Since most businesses record their calls for quality control purposes, they are not the only ones who have proof of what happen. We always call their company’s phone from our company’s phone. On our final call, the manager who actually prompted this review, behaved both irrationally and unprofessionally. Her voice was trembling with anger and she seemed quite irritated that we said the driver fail to take our trash again. (Maybe he was her husband or dad but at either rate, they are being paid to perform a service). After yelling and constantly speaking over us, she hung up on us…, but not before boasting that she was about to.We were calm and spoke to her kindly and professionally, but it didn’t matter because she was too blinded by emotions to properly perform her job and provide a resolution.My review is honest and genuine andmight help many of you to avoid loss of time and money.If you are looking to hire this family for your trash needs, look at similar reviews made by other customers and RUN!!!!! James Robertson: Have had two instances in the past month or so that this vendor has not picked up our trash. The first time, I called in and they advised me that the failure to pick it up was due to the trash being filled with 'yard waste' which they defined as brush or rubbish/hedge clippings; I often work from home so I went out and checked and this was of course not the case. That time they at least arranged redelivery, but it put me off a little that they were willing to just accuse me of that without checking... or that they did and received a falsified report. This time round, they mused at the perplexity that the had missed the same spot more than once but indicated they wouldn't come out a second time for pick up citing their heavy workload. Shell Johnson: My family had used this trash service for home. My father, a senior citizen, called to cancel service due to rising costs last summer. In less than 72 hours someone claiming to be a collection agency said he didn't pay the full amount. Of course he didn't get any names because he was so upset at being treated like he was a thief. I knew someone in administration that worked there and contacted them to complain. He, of course, said he'd look into it and get back with me. Of course that never happened. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. They abuse the elderly and take advantage of their vulnerability. Who turns in a customer for paying in advance for a entire year into collections because someone in their office messed up with giving a price they aren't authorized to give? The most recent was this past week when the driver drove past their can in our drive without picking it up but picked up the next neighbor??? When I called them I was assured it would be picked up by 5pm the next day which didn’t happen again. It’s happened quite a bit lately. I just called again for no pick up & told it was because not enough drivers! Not my problem! I’m actively looking for another service because they obviously are unable to service us. I wouldn’t recommend them to anybody. Unreliable service is an understatement.I thought the service had improved but again yesterday the trash hauler drove last my can & my neighbors can without picking either one up. I reported it but of course they can’t pick up until next week after the Memorial holiday. So irritating.Service:Trash removal disposal

Attention to the Springfield Missouri residents, please consider going with a local company instead of this corporate greed company. Mark Barto: I spoke to a very nice lady on the phone that tried to help me, but after two weeks of missing my pick ups on several times they are now telling me it’s gonna be another day. My neighbors are frustrated with me and they feel I haven’t paid my bill, which is embarrassing enough. And now they can’t come out until tomorrow so I’m sure that this will go over well. Also I may have to change my services since we use somebody else at my work and they’re never late.
