CMC Recycling: what do users think?
Brianna Fitzgerald: Clean, friendly, and helpful!!
Curtis Payne: It's a scrap yard....pretty disheveled but all of the people were kind and helpful
Tessa: Very easy to recycle aluminum cans and get paid. Pull up to the "small scale" area, wait your turn, they'll bring out a container for you to dump it in, they'll take your ID and print a receipt for you and you'll take that to the front office to get paid. There was a bit of a wait but once it came around to my turn it was fast.
Ljc Esquire: Worst yard ever after sitting in line for 30 minutes just to unload they couldn't tell the difference between number one copper and number two and then tried lying to us about it never really go back to this place ever again I'm sticking to McCoys
Jeffrey Inmon: Outstanding place to do business with! Bryan is so helpful at the small scale side. Very friendly people! Always working their butt off. Thanks so much! You guys rock from top to bottom!
Me: I’m a third generation scrap metal hauler. This place was awful. The man running the magnet was terrible. He unloaded the trailer that was ahead of me by “pulling” the scrap metal off the sides of the trailer! I was then asked to pull to the side to unload by hand because that man was worried about breaking my back glass (over a ton of short steel). I reluctantly agreed and the worker pointed and said to unload it there and walked off!! I just took their clipboard and weigh sheet to the front and left. Took my load somewhere else and somehow I weighed two hundred more pounds hmmm?
Joseph Farwell: Great place to do business with. The office workers are always friendly. The yard workers are very helpful! A huge shout out to Jay, we are kind of newbies at the recycling thing. He made us feel like we wasn't just a bother, he showed us where to go and even helped us unload!
Pam: Great place to sell cans and scrap metal. Cleanest place I've found. Friendly staff and fair price.
Vladi Garbuzov: By the time I got in and out took me an hour and a 1/2 to dump my metal.
Roger Freeman: I've suspected that there was shady stuff going on here for some time, and after today, I'm convinced of it.
Mike Turner: Very friendly employees, the office was clean and the front desk lady was very helpful
John Milford: Great 👍 😃😃
Joshua Sedlak: A great place to sell iron, copper, brass, aluminum, stainless and more!
Janette Romero: Quick, easy, friendly.
bobcat Cobb: Aluminum cans are bringing $60 cents lb in Springfield MO. Why so much different in Northern Arkansas an Southern Missouri were you only get 35 cents to 45 cents a big difference
janet greninger: Excellent service. Awesome employees.I would highly recommend to anyone who deals with scrap metal
Linda Varmette: Always nice people except an older crabby guy who weighs your stuff-the other young guy is super nice
MissouriNative91: Awesome place always been super nice to me here
teresa reddix: I come here people are friendly
Lydell Jackson: Fast service decent price
Bill Perkins: Ecxlant place to sell to they have best price in town

Springfield Iron & Metal: what do users think?
Richard Gilmore: Top pay in springfield but they pay with a check
Jana Degadoi: That's pretty fast you guys are really nice and I didn't not leave with a flat tire that makes me happy
Delray Lane: Man I tell ya what I’ve been up there a dozen times they are good people and work with you very well!!! Thanks guys n gals
Lorenzo Fumero: lowest pay for metal prices in the Ozarks.
Magen Rader: There are other options in Springfield. Avoid this place at all costs. I believe I got $13 for about $35 or more worth of copper. It weighed 1.5 pounds less on their scales than on mine, amongst a few other shady things.
Aaron S: Looooooong lines and even longer wait times.
Michael Williams: Slowest process that I've ever been through with the scrap metal recycling center. Waited well over an hour and there were only three in front of us. Then the top it all off they write checks. They don't do cash like everyone else I've been to.
Brandon Strait: Manager was very rude. Demanded I wear a mask but he himself didn't have or want to wear a mask. Was treated horrible and was profiled. Do not use this scrap yard, they are very prejudice.
Owen Ferguson: UPDATED REVIEW: Tried to use again since my last trip was nice but this time was terrible! As everybody is doing away with mask mandates these guys went the complete opposite way! I was there 3 months ago and was able to sell a whole vehicle with no mask but this time they wouldnt even let me sell aluminum cans without a mask. Normally this isn't a problem because we all used to have masks in our trucks for this but like i said everyone is doing away with masking. But since one wasnt required last time one would assume you wouldnt need one. WRONG. I was turned away. Makes no sense! And the staff this time was pretty rude. I guess I pulled to far forward for their liking in the line and they made me flip around. So after waiting over 20 minutes and being told to turn around I was turned away. Just a terrible experience.OLD REVIEW: Quick and easy even for a first timer. Awesome staff that point you in the right direction.
Josh K: Great place to deal with and the ladies up top where very helpful. After having a bad experience at McCoy iron and metal I went here and they was very nice and helpful.
Justin Lynch: Save you time don’t go there employees are the most disrespecting people for the copper side.
Christian Lynch: This is a great scrap yard. Just make sure you have an id and a bank account because they give paper checks. Highly recommend them though. Easy to use.
Mindy Blair: Best scrap metal prices right now
anthony dunston: Long wait because of the wine, but they paid top dollar for my scrap metal
Beatrice Rector: Awful the had me waiting for 25 minutes on the scale didn't see anyone so I left and went elsewhere
Sean Wilkerson: Great
Robert G: .35 a lbs for scrap aluminum gutter is a rip, everyone else is around .50 a lbs. Not going here!
Jesse Edwards: Very helpful and friendly
Shane Heidt: in all my years of working on cars and recycling metal , never have i come across the service level i received here. new to the area , i received friendly courteous service and the whole process was very streamlined, with acceptional notice to the crane operator who precisely picked things off the trailer
Brad Davis: Nice people and very helpful
Jared Sheneman: Decent place wish they would clean up the trash around but oh well

Danny Cordova: I was so disappointed I took time to reveal all the gold plated plugin's from My electric stuff I'm talking about hundreds of plugin's I also have 30+ circuit boards; I think they count on the fact that the customer doesn't always know what items are really worth so are taken advantage of.. I was paid 42 dollar's and some change and over 7 dollar's was #1Copper.I have no doubt most will get sold for Way more than e sçrap! If I'm right your day will reap it not well God Bless you . Wishing I took pictures...
Michele Keithley: Sold some aluminum cans there this morning. Fantastic bunch of folks! Thanks so much!!
Leonard Burk: They were quick and friendly to work with .
Jennifer Molden: Dropped off an old stove and the workers were all very helpful, and polite. Keep in mind when going to a scrap metal facility that it is not a super clean place and dress accordingly. I like a dummy did not have the best of shoes on. But with that said I found McCoys to be well organized and doing the best they can to keep it clean for what they are dealing with. Thanks McCoys!
Sharon Kay: The staff was so friendly and made my recycling experience a great one! Paid the best out of the places I checked around with, too.
Brad clemmer: Best prices most operable hours well organized
Lindsay Clapper Gibbs: Guys were very kind to a lady bring in recyclables for the 1st time. Curtious & quick helping unload. Will be back with another truck load.
Tiffany Baker: Not real friendly but can be helpful some days
Samantha Wallace: Love these guys! Always good spirits even in the worst weather conditions
Maggie Wise: Quick way to get rid of cans & misc. Thought their prices were low. Guess I should have listened to my son & called around because one place was higher but McCoys is close.
Dave's funny farm: Convenient location, competitive pricing, fair scales
Lori Sword: Very helpful staff
Ours Fred and papa: (Dewayne)I had worked here for years and have went here for years and service is great and my kids/grandkids grew up coming here and the staff is great, and they give cash! Although it is a huge mud pit after it rains.
Jerome Coonis: Prices are equal or above competition, workers are more respectful than previous visits in the past, making my choice simple. McCoy's is my choice for recycling in Springfield area...
