Dana Salony: The escape room has so much potential. The castle, haunted, former military hospital aspect is really cool. However, the execution of the escape room is lacking. I've been to many escape rooms in many different cities. Never before has the game master/worker stayed in the room with the participants at any of those other locations. The entire time. Every single minute. It really altered and honestly ruined the experience. It made it so we couldn't complete the puzzles in our way, in methods that work for our personalities and minds. She was very much YOU right there, YOU have to do this right now. Or a couple times she even took things out of someone's hands and said "No. Not yet." The whole point is to let people solve puzzles and work together. She just told us what to do and how she wanted us to do it. I would recommend other escape rooms for a true experience.
Matt Sloan: Had a blast doing the escape roomWait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $21–30 …More

Sequiota Park: what do users think?
Cindy Byers: Too crowded and lots of dogs with owners not picking up the pooh
Chris Coffman: A very nice park with playground for children and many trails for hiking. It's located in a unique section of town with restaurants, shops close by. Tables for picknicking and pet-friendly!

Eric Stickney: Such an amazing park. Three caves but you can't go in them at the moment. A big pond with all kind geese and baby geese. But our favorite part is all the small trails in the woods. They brake off into so many direction you can walk a different trail everytime you come. I highly recommend you go to this park.Just remember to keep an eye on you kids cause we had to help a lost child the last time we was there.
Alyssa Bigham: Gorgeous park. I used to come here as a kid and still enjoy it just as much

Scott King: Great place to take smaller kids so they can use the playground and not get hurt.
Mark Wedlock: Playground: The grandkids had fun in the playground area.
Clayton King: This is a great place to go with all members of the family including the pets. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place for a walk, picnic, or just a place to sit and rest. Go and see what I mean.
Dylan Remenar: Our 6 year old daughter had a great time here playing in the water, near the caves and walking the trails around the lake.
Shawn S: Love this park. Has a trail going though it. Small hiking trail into the woods behind it and cave tours by boat in the spring and fall.

Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park: what do users think?
Tre' Sawyers: My favorite place in spfd. Perfect place for walk, and great place to meditate. Whoever designed this place had zen in mind. These typed words do no justice to this immaculate garden.
Chris St. Romain: Very nice place for an afternoon stroll and take a break from it all.. Go!
Eugenia Williams: Wonderful walk at the park. Viewed lovely flowers and visited the butterfly house. The lake was calming and the benches all over gave an opportunity for a rest.
Arkan Attariya: Wonderful park. It's huge, there is a small lake and a vast variety of flowers and trees.
Sohail Ahmed: Very clean and we'll kept park and gardens. Great way to enjoy nature without leaving the city. Plants were in full bloom during visit (early June)Playground: Unique and interactive equipment. Activities cover all ages.
Paula St. Romain: Beautiful, clean place.. great for walks and picture taking!!
Alyssa Bigham: If you need a huge park to walk this your place!
Anne Griswold: This park is probably one of my favorites, as far as parks go, ever! It is amazing. It's one large park, comprised of several smaller areas (that have different names, to them) within the park.I love it so much - because no matter where you go, you feel like you're in a whole different park, with a whole different environment and foliage.Nathaneal Greene Park is also home to the Botanical Center of Springfield. It's a super neat nature center, with lots of awesome things, information, events, and even a rooftop-ish patio and gift shop. There is an old Schoolhouse, as well as an old 1800's house and farmstead setup, which is really cool - especially when they open them up, or you can go in and tour them, or when they have an event, utilizing them.Neighboring Nathaneal Greene Park is the Mizumoto Japanese Garden, which is a breathtaking sight, in and of itself! You won't want to miss the annual Japanese Fall Festival which is an amazing event that I never like to miss. #worthitTo get to the Japanese Garden, you drive into Nathaneal Greene Park, go to the left, and drive to the back, out near where the schoolhouse and homestead are. There's a decent sized parking lot back there, which is also a great place to start on one of the multiple trails that exist within the park. There's an area, Close Memorial (I believe is the name of that section of the park, that resembles the foliage and that of a Japanese style garden, containing several evergreen type trees, a bridge with a teeny pond, and gravel pathways that weave in and out between and amongst the trees. It's fun to just run around and feel like you're in a bit of a forest. There are two pavilions, at least 2 waterfountains, several areas with beautiful flower gardens, at least 2 larger playgrounds, and multiple other stops with plays capes for kids. One of the most beautiful things at the park (to me, anyway) is the gorgeous pond, and the bridge with the lovely waterfall, that faces Scenic Avenue. This park is a MUST SEE/MUST EXPERIENCE kind of park. There's a ton of space, lots of events planned within the community, and so many fun areas to explore.Park closes at Sunset, so make sure you can get to your car, before the gates to the park are closed.Playground: There are multiple places areas, all of which are fun. There are two larger ones, and some smaller ones spaced around the park. Lots of fun options!Restrooms: The only restrooms that I can think of, are either in the Botanical Center, when thats open, until like 5p. The others are right on the end of the large pavilion, near the largest playground. There is a third area over by the Pavilion, next to the (in front of the...) Japanese Gardens.Dog-friendliness: There are tons of dogs always being walked there. I believe there are dog stations for picking up after your furry friends.Picnic area: There are lots of places you could sit and have a picnic. There are two pavilions, lots of benches, or just shady areas. There are also some chairs in various spots, one or two areas in which overlook the pond. There's also another pavilion over by the Japanese Garden.
Angelica Martinez-Miranda: Love this park! Very well taken care of.Just make sure you are cautious where you step as it warms up. My 3 year old stepped on a pretty large black rat snake today. Luckily, it was pretty chill and didn’t strike just slithered away. I recommend to all my family and friends.
William Whaley: Great park ! Especially if you enjoy ornamental gardens.
Lewk Barx: Just did the date night in the gardens package for our anniversary. What a wonderful time. So romantic. Very thankful the park does this.
Joshua Joyce: The butterfly house was the star. It’s free and the volunteers are very informative. Note: please control you kids in there.
Nikki Sullins: Pretty park!
Bill Doering: Beautiful flowers, nice place to walk, many things to see.
Al Rector: Could spend days there so pretty
Lenora Watkins: This is an absolutely beautiful park. They had music in the park for free when we were there. Check their website for dates.
Chrissy Snow: Absolutely the most beautiful park in all of Springfield!! I love walking this park no matter what the season! Very beautiful and clean! Plus the flowers and landscaping is breath taking!!! The verity of flowers they grow in the spring is the most beautiful thing ever!
Kristine Walkingstick: Even though they had the bigger playground roped off for a little they still have a lot of neat places and plenty of shade!
Damon Overboe: We love this park. It has great walking/biking trails which loop a small pond and context to the Greenways Trail. The landscaping is amazing and always improving. Most bikers slow down and announce when passing. And only a few don't follow the motorized restrictions (those have also generally been the ones to not sure down or announce). That isn't the park's fault, it's people either oblivious to the restriction or they just choose not to comply. That's a 4* for humanity, 5* for the park.
Debra Kroll: Went there to eat our lunch.

Joshua Beerbower: Today I was with my family *they adopted me in* and we went to visit the caverns for my sisters 64th birthday. Her brother who's also my best friend was there and we were accompanied by our 90 year old mother...We had the the tour guides Darla and Larry. Darla was amazingly sweet and definitely awesome at her job, however this post is about Larry.Larry made this day one to remember and smile about forever. What a guy Larry is, let me just say that. His shameless but tactful and well mannerd flirting with our mother made this day special to us all. Our group was laughing and smiling the whole time and that's all due to Larry and his very affable personality. Heck, he had everyone laughing and smiling. He made sure this day was a special memory for us and it really started to sink in about 10 minutes just how big of a deal that was. We were all taking about how much we enjoyed him as we were driving away and I just felt like this needed to be shared.Thank you Larry. And Darla, you were such a pro helping guide mother down that steep slope in her chair, thank you!

Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden: what do users think?
Tre' Sawyers: My favorite place in spfd. Perfect for a rela
Cindy: Beautiful place!
Kevin Hinkle: Wonderful park and garden's. Been in Springfield for 13 years, always wanted to go, but finally did, and we are really impressed
Roshell Johnson: This was a beautiful and peaceful place to just relax and enjoy the weatherPlayground: A large place for kids to roam and playRestrooms: Could be a little cleaner however they are nicely placed for convenienceDog-friendliness: They offer doggie bags for your furry companionsPicnic area: A large place for a huge event
James Blankenship: Parts of this park are free and include playground equipment, but the actual stroll garden costs $5 for adults to get in and walk around. Might seem like an inexpensive place to visit and it is beautiful, but it's not very big. You could easily explore the entire place in 30 minutes, an hour if you very leisurely stroll about. We enjoyed our visit, but I'd be much more likely to go often if it were only a dollar. The park has paved and stone walkways, bridges, plenty of trees and some possibly historically accurate Japanese structures, but much of the plant life can be found elsewhere in Missouri. If you're looking for a special occasion picnic or have visited all the other parks in Springfield I'd recommend a visit, but I won't miss it if I don't visit again. I did like the turtle in the pond. I like turtles.
Bob Mason: Terrific garden surrounded by huge Park. Large children’s playground and open spaces.
Sara O: Worth the admission price
Arkan Attariya: I loved walking around and taking pictures. It was cloudy, warm and humid, but the scenery was unforgettable.
Adrienne Conklin: Beautiful & peaceful. Really impressive how well maintained this property is kept for the size. Definitely a must see!
Kelly Purkhiser: Beautiful experience. I had 5 of my niece's with me and the younger ones enjoyed it as much as the older.Playground: Nice place for me to take a break while they played for a bit.
Debra Kroll: Very pretty and relaxing.
tasthedingus: Awesome place to bring your turtle! We had a blast.
Tish Dingman: Love all the beautiful details in the landscape
Dave Manary: Such a peaceful place.
Arnel Alagueña: A good place to unwind.
Linda Jirka: Relies too much on trees and evergreens. Pleasant stroll. Bridges not wheelchair friendly.
Travis Southern: One of the best maintained parks in Springfield great trees and nice flowers and they are great during the changing of the seasons
Erin “Mortal Wombat” M: I always love coming to the stroll garden. It's quiet and peaceful. So.ply gorgeous to look at.Dog-friendliness: There are provided bags to pick up after your pet.
Midnight Muse: We went the last week of April. Everything was green, but nothing was blooming flowers. It was still a nice walking area, but I'm sure it's a lot more beautiful and interesting at another time in the season. The current price is $5 per adult.Playground: Located on the way to the garden.Restrooms: Located right outside the garden.Picnic area: Numerous areas on the way to the garden.
Cherri Queener: Bea u ti ful!!!!
Kurt Cathcart: Nice quiet place to hang out.

Dr. Bill Roston Native Butterfly House: what do users think?
dave smith: Wonderful place to see butterflies
Thomas Allen: Small garden, but the people are very friendly and educated. They make the experience educational and exciting. It's awesome to see the stages of butterfly and moth growth in real life and have someone educate you on any questions along the way. Peaceful place to pick up some knowledge.
David Su: Always staffed by knowledgeable volunteers
Tasha Short: Beautiful and educational. Would be amazing for children. The young man who was working in there was extremely knowledgeable and thoroughly enjoys his job. Just a great experience all around.
Donna Wilson: If you really just watch a butterfly you'll see that is so fragile. Such a beautifully painted creation by God
Daniel Phelps: Nice place, workers or volunteers were very friendly. It is a beautiful place. It's well taken care of. And what better than free. Kids loved the butterflies and the playground. Nice place!
Ashlee Osterberg: Just beautiful
Lisa Richter: Best butterfly house I've visited because the volunteers are right there to answer questions and point out where caterpillars, eggs and chrysalis are "hiding" and you see the whole life cycle even mating butterflies.
Danny Blackard: I don't have children to take.there all grown.but I love going with my wife. Great photography place.
The Lobster Daddy: So beautiful. Pokemon go brought me here, but the butterflies kept me there
Sylvia Fox-Daily: Very interesting!
Tarah Giles: Fantastic garden, well maintained, free public beauty for all!!
Vikki Crawford: It's beautiful and knowledgeable
DeAnn Crawford: My young grandchildren received such a great education from the young man operating the Butterfly House. He was so knowledgable and showed the kids the catepillars and the different types of butterflies they become. Such a great jewel in the Queen City.
Kush Trivedi: Lovely staff. Enjoyed the place. Recommend to all.
Bethany Plumlee: They were super friendly hosts and gave us a lot of information about the butterflies and showed us cocoons and explained everything. Such a great learning experience even if it is small. There were so many butterflies several different kinds and all maturities. They will land on you and "lick" you. So cute.
T. Page: Really cool and free butterfly house. Cool stuff to see like the cocoon houses. Really fun!!?
L Ward: Awesome place. Don't miss it. Run by volunteers. Part of taxpayer funded city parks.
TheAlderman G: Needs more butterfly’s
Crystal Woods: September 30th marks the close of the butterfly house each year. We got to see lots of tagged and released butterflies in the gardens adjacent to the butterfly house. It is a free exhibit but donations are much appreciated. A wonderful place to learn about Missouri's native butterfly species.
Karen Hudson: This was so much fun. I think my kids would have stayed all day if I had let them.

Rountree Historic Park: what do users think?
Jayson L. Wilkins: Needs a little maintenance and maybe some placards outlining the historical significance but generally clean
Tucker Evans: My stepson was jumped from behind by a repeat bully that park is dangerousPicnic area: Just a hang out for thugs who like to be bullies need more security patrolling necessary
Kaitlyn strannigan: Pretty views. Recommend not swimming here though, lmao.
Brandon Yinquez (Nacho): Great park not a lot of traffic
Virginia Barker: Beautiful place to take pictures, but be aware there was some trash on the ground. As I had to tell and remind my kiddos, it's not a "park" as in playground park, but a memorial or historic park. As such, there isn't going to be play equipment etc. But if you want a nice quiet place to take some pretty photos, such as for ends of school pics, this is a great place to go. The big trees and stone wall made for great backdrops to photos we had taken.
Lionel Palmer: Not a lot of people go there
Mindy Caldwell: It's a circle, it's kinda lame you pull in and you pull out that's about it. If you happen to get out and walk around there is a surprise cemetery, so watch out.
David Ross: I have never been here. 5 stars!
Justin Earnest: Nice and secluded nature park on an old historic homestead. Not a whole lot for foundation ruins and a family cemetery which dated back to the 1800's
William Gibson: Great place to smoke
Nathaniel Rhodes: Super cool quit and peaceful
richardllee herndon: Great place to just sit and think
Jason “Scooter” Roush: Quiet peaceful and very interesting.
Sheila Burough: I used to like this place but they moved rocks so not much parking.
Cameron Collins: Park ranger is nice
Clifford b: What is the concrete circle for??
Rick Dorsey: Nice place to go it's peaceful and quiet I'm a lot of shade it's really a historical
Douglas Hon: Not much of a park

Michele Keller: Green e county parks department well exceeds expectations at Doling. Located at the very north side of Springfield, tucked behind Kearney street and boasting nature trails, a cave, small lake with ducks, and a large outdoor theatre area, ample parking and well maintained landscaping. The family center is located here and has a fabulous indoor pool, hot tub, and water slide. Great gym, some games like ping pong and air hockey and family showers as well as men's and women's locker rooms with showers that are kept very clean. $10 day pass for non members. (Has been helpful to us while homeless since my husband had a year membership with his Medicare, showers are convenient here)Kid friendly atmosphere l, lots of classes and a daycare is offered. Vending machines. Also used as a WARMING/COOLING center for the homeless during extreme weather. Just a place to sit and access to wifi and bathrooms
Shawn: The park has many trees for shade, a nice playground, a historic cave, and plenty of really nice walking trailsPlayground: Really nice up to date playgroundDog-friendliness: Dogs love it, plenty of grass and walking trails
Addison McVey: Fantastic park I go here often and love to sit near the pond.Picnic area: Very spacious the picnic areas don't overlap on each other so you can have a private area for your Gathering.

Echo Alexzander: This facility has great options for hosting large community classes.
Douglas Hale: Awesome place for kids adults there's Alot of places to walk, they have duck's and fish nice place they have a indoor swimming pool

Jaifei Simbabwe: I can never play on the court cuz the always doing whole court
James: Love it here. Always nice and quiet. Great place to relax and get things off your mind.Playground: There is plenty of room for the kiddos to play.Restrooms: Yes, they have bathrooms.Picnic area: Plenty of places to BBQ or whatever you're doing.
His Mom: Gotta love the Outlaws before us. Jesse James and his outlaw bandit's have stayed in the cave at Doling Park. If u have a chance to go inside, make sure it's not wet. Lol 😂 There are restrooms on site that are clean. There is a playground and a walking trail along with a few ponds for the fish and the geese. Walking of dogs is allowed. There are also picnic tables and grills. MAKE IT, JUST A BEAUTIFUL DAY AT THE PARK.
