andrew stallings: I had a wonderful shopping experience when I visited the other day. The business sign was on the ground so i passed the place twice before finding it, but it was worth it. The rough cut lumber is in the back and they have quite the selection. I was only really there for some beech for making hand planes, so i didn't check out every row of available species, but they have a lot to choose from. Also check out their cutoffs section. Plenty of long strips left over from ripping boards to size that would be great for many projects. There are large boxes of smaller cutoffs as well. Species isn't marked on them, but at the price i paid, i didn't care. As for the beech, i bought a piece that was 8/4 and about 10in wide totaling about 10bf. Also, they offer military discount with proper ID.

However the worker behind the front counter upon my arrival was clearly disappointed with my choice to come in and grab what I needed quickly. Instead of asking what I needed or to help me find it, he scuffled and made sure I knew the store was closing in “5 minutes”. I arrived at 6:48 and the store closes at 7. Disappointed!

I definitely need to check out the house paint. They seem to have great selection.

Lorelei Valkenburg: I like what the store has available and the plant sales have had some extremely good deals. However, I can't understand why they close so early. On Sunday at 5pm they had to turn at least half a dozen people away. Also one employee hassled us at least 8 different times about the fact they were closing, interrupting our thought process and making us take longer. We still checked out at 5 to 5. Anyway, it's nice to shop local.

Ron Gillespie: I was treated very poorly. I have contacted them on 3 diff occasions on ordering doorjams and all three times I spoke with someone I was treated and talked to like I was the ground they walk on. After the second time I talked to them we had discussed the sizes of doors I needed. And also gave my card info to pay for them. And a address to be delivered. A week later I call back because no word or no jams we're shown up to my house. I call and the first response the lady gave me was very rude and did not want to talk to me. She argues with me over and over again. Very rude like. And kept putting words in my mouth and would not listen to the reason I was calling. Finally I asked to speak to the sales man. He instantly was rude to me. Saying I never gave him the go ahaid. I never gave him any info for a payment. But I did the week before. Then after that he wouldn't sell to me because of an account that I wanted to use. He had a problem with that person. So I told him that I wouldn't use that account and finally he said he would make my door jams. While being very rude. I asked to pay for them and he said he would have someone call me to take my card info. I've already gave it to them 2 times. Along with address .. and still no call back for a payment.. to me a customer is who you wanna make happy. Not treat poorly. I May not be a big contractor for them. But I've always used them when I needed doors or jams or base before and I can promise I'll never use them ever again. They are very unprofessional..

michael leake: My interaction was not in any location but on the road with a driver this morning as I was leaving the house I encountered a driver of dyke lumber on a back road from Nixa going to Ozark called Rosedale Road where he ran me off the road into a ditch and I know he saw me because I got out and he had stopped at the top of the hill and we made eye contact in the side mirror so I know he saw me but instead he kept driving and left me there I immediately called Dyke Lumber and spoke with the manager which he told me if I can find somebody to pull me out to do it and that he knew exactly who the driver was that I was just driving and there's significant damage to my car and this manager doesn't want to do anything about it now. So now I guess I'm going to have to get an attorney to have this fixed or solved when it wasn't my fault and I called immediately and was treated like I was a crazy person I can honestly say I will never ever ever use Dyke Lumber Industries for anything ever and I will make sure that everybody knows just exactly how they treat people whether it be their customer or whether it be some innocent bystander on the road trying to get to his next location
