Kris Bishop: I have always found what Ive needed here. I can in for one simple thing, and it was 10 minutes til closing time. I get it. However the worker behind the front counter upon my arrival was clearly disappointed with my choice to come in and grab what I needed quickly. Instead of asking what I needed or to help me find it, he scuffled and made sure I knew the store was closing in “5 minutes”. I arrived at 6:48 and the store closes at 7. Disappointed!

Hannah Spratt: This is my go-to spot for spring gardening supplies. Their prices are good and it's so convenient! Not overwhelmingly crowded like those big box stores. And, I happened to stumble upon their Spring plant sale last year. Awesome plants/trees/veggies!Plus, there's a lot of untapped potential for all of my other hardware needs. I definitely need to check out the house paint. They seem to have great selection.

Lorelei Valkenburg: I like what the store has available and the plant sales have had some extremely good deals. However, I can't understand why they close so early. On Sunday at 5pm they had to turn at least half a dozen people away. Also one employee hassled us at least 8 different times about the fact they were closing, interrupting our thought process and making us take longer. We still checked out at 5 to 5. Anyway, it's nice to shop local.

Anthony Dykes: I would not recommend ordering doors from here....as far as I know my doors were ordered on the 10th of December and today is the 8th of January and I was told a week to week and half max I would have them. The worst part is everytime I talk to someone it is a different story...first they shipped...then they didn't....then they would be delivered Thursday...then Friday....the Monday after that I was told they hadn't been received yet even though a full week before I was told they were there. Then I get to a manager and he says they actually ordered the wrong doors and they have to be reordered...now I can't get anyone to call me back. When you call after 230-3pm they tell you everyone has gone home already, but they didn't have time to deliver your doors today. It has been a complete disaster. Paid cash up front....still no product. If Lowe's carried Knotty pine doors I would already have installed doors in my house.
Emily Reyelts: Very good staff here. Didn’t know they closed so soon and helped us get lumber 20 minutes after close. Didn’t complain once and still helped every step of the way. Very cheap prices too!
Nancy: McClernon Villas a 55+ affordable housing community by the Kitchen, Inc. had a block party May 10th. Meeks provided the grill, and manpower to barbecue for the tenants. Everyone enjoyed the burgers, hot dogs, and chicken you cooked Tanner. Thank You Rusty and Tanner for making the event so special to our tenants. You are true to your words about being invested in Community, and we are very appreciative. You are the Best!!!!

When my family member asked for help, she was always bullied about asking for help and talked about amongst the office staff.The disrespect for someone willing to go above and beyond after being thrown into a position that she was not properly trained on is absolutely disgusting and horrifying.i do not recommend working for this company nor any staffing agency helping them hire. THEY DO NOT TRAIN YOU CORRECTLY and will fault you for it.

I have followed up multiple times to see if they have the quotes ready and the response each time is "not yet" and "still working on it". As of September 30th I still have not received the quotes. I guess they do not want my business.

Temple Remodeling & Repairs: As a contractor, I've worked with Herrman lumber on and off four about 4 years. 4 years ago, my sales rep Mike was fantastic. He answered my calls, got me numbers quickly and was very easy to work with. He retired about 2 years ago and I was passed on to Brian Lewis who was still helpful, although took a while to get ahold of or get answers out of fairly often. Then he got promoted and we are now mostly floating around with no sales rep. We went in in person one day to try and form more of a relationship and see how we can work together better and were basically told our company is too small to get a sales rep. We hardly ever get numbers back anymore for our estimates. We ordered a door a while ago and were told it would come in on 1/6/22. Since that date had passed, we emailed back and asked if they meant 12/6/22 or 1/6/23. They emailed back with a blank email. Then when the door did come in, I drove up there to get it and they filed it under the wrong order number and couldn't find it. Eventually they found it. Overall, this company used to be great. Now, they are having a hard time keeping employees and have decided they don't care about helping smaller companies.

Tom Martz: I purchase all my cedar 4 by 4's and 2 by 4's from Hermann and they haven't let me down yet. I have on a multitude of times gone in to purchase 8 foot boards for the fence I'm slowly constructing and the loaders will thoroughly examine each board and if they spot an issue they'll ask me if I want that piece of wood. On some occasions they didn't have enough quality 8 footers for my project so we went up to 10' boards. They have earned my respect and my repeat business.

andrew stallings: I had a wonderful shopping experience when I visited the other day. The business sign was on the ground so i passed the place twice before finding it, but it was worth it. The rough cut lumber is in the back and they have quite the selection. I was only really there for some beech for making hand planes, so i didn't check out every row of available species, but they have a lot to choose from. Also check out their cutoffs section. Plenty of long strips left over from ripping boards to size that would be great for many projects. There are large boxes of smaller cutoffs as well. Species isn't marked on them, but at the price i paid, i didn't care. As for the beech, i bought a piece that was 8/4 and about 10in wide totaling about 10bf. Also, they offer military discount with proper ID.

Travis Garrison: According to their new rules, you must have a multi million dollar charge account before your allowed to purchase from them. I have been a contractor for 20+ years but was informed that since I pay with checks, I was not a real builder and cannot purchase $50,000 of lumber from them. I purchased many times from them through the years but not allowed anymore. I have an account but did not have credit on it.

Ron Gillespie: I was treated very poorly. I have contacted them on 3 diff occasions on ordering doorjams and all three times I spoke with someone I was treated and talked to like I was the ground they walk on. After the second time I talked to them we had discussed the sizes of doors I needed. And also gave my card info to pay for them. And a address to be delivered. A week later I call back because no word or no jams we're shown up to my house. I call and the first response the lady gave me was very rude and did not want to talk to me. She argues with me over and over again. Very rude like. And kept putting words in my mouth and would not listen to the reason I was calling. Finally I asked to speak to the sales man. He instantly was rude to me. Saying I never gave him the go ahaid. I never gave him any info for a payment. But I did the week before. Then after that he wouldn't sell to me because of an account that I wanted to use. He had a problem with that person. So I told him that I wouldn't use that account and finally he said he would make my door jams. While being very rude. I asked to pay for them and he said he would have someone call me to take my card info. I've already gave it to them 2 times. Along with address .. and still no call back for a payment.. to me a customer is who you wanna make happy. Not treat poorly. I May not be a big contractor for them. But I've always used them when I needed doors or jams or base before and I can promise I'll never use them ever again. They are very unprofessional..

michael leake: My interaction was not in any location but on the road with a driver this morning as I was leaving the house I encountered a driver of dyke lumber on a back road from Nixa going to Ozark called Rosedale Road where he ran me off the road into a ditch and I know he saw me because I got out and he had stopped at the top of the hill and we made eye contact in the side mirror so I know he saw me but instead he kept driving and left me there I immediately called Dyke Lumber and spoke with the manager which he told me if I can find somebody to pull me out to do it and that he knew exactly who the driver was that I was just driving and there's significant damage to my car and this manager doesn't want to do anything about it now. So now I guess I'm going to have to get an attorney to have this fixed or solved when it wasn't my fault and I called immediately and was treated like I was a crazy person I can honestly say I will never ever ever use Dyke Lumber Industries for anything ever and I will make sure that everybody knows just exactly how they treat people whether it be their customer or whether it be some innocent bystander on the road trying to get to his next location

Wendy Jones: Went in to look at windows and the woman acted as if I was was not able to build a $450,000-$500,000 home. Your loss Meeks. FYI: I don't dress to impress your employees. Thanks
Anita West: We went there with an appointment to look at windows. They refused to bid the windows we were interested in, citing they were "too expensive". They were pushing us to change our plans from 7 ft windows to 6 ft windows, but we are building our dream home and wanted the 7 ft windows. Allison said at least 4 times it was out of our budget... but she didn't know our budget. We intended to use them for our entire build, but went with another company who wanted our business. Made the mistake of going back, as there was a front door there I wanted. We agreed to the price and said yes on ordering. Unfortunately, they didn't order the door... three weeks later we found out. Ryan the manager was contacted, and said he wanted to "make it right" and would get back with us, to try to expidite the door. Never heard from him again. We ordered our front door from another company. All in all, I've never been treated so poorly by a company. Would not recommend them. It was very disapointing.
Sp00k3r 3000: Called to see about getting some tongue and groove cedar boards. Called the bolivar location first and they advised for me to give the design center a call. Spoke with Janna, explained to her that we are cladding something and that we were needing tongue and groove board and she cuts me off halfway through and says “I don’t know anything about this.” I said I know I don’t expect you to I’m calling for the first time. Has me reexplain what I explained and then just goes over it again that the design center doesn’t do that. That’s fine if the design center doesn’t do it. But don’t cop an attitude with me. I’m the customer calling you for advice and you are so wholly upset that you didn’t have a heads up that you were getting a call that was advised to call the wrong place. It’s not my fault. Or your fault. So stop getting an attitude and just help me because I assume that’s what you’re paid to do. Bad listening and awful customer service. After she realized that I wasn’t jumping down her throat and was simply asking a question she graciously said “I can transfer you over there that’s no problem…” then trailed off into how it was a misunderstanding. It would not have been a misunderstanding if you would have listened to begin with rather than cut me off and jump down my throat. Imagine how I feel after having a less than 3 minute conversation with this woman and I’m compelled enough to write this review. Absurd. Just help your customers.

Daniel Lewis: I will never do business with Meeks again and would recommend no one else do the same.I purchased new windows doors and siding for my home.I had picked up the windows doors and one pallet of siding. Witch was mostly the trim and corner peaces a few boxes of siding. Well anyway to make a long story short. I still had most the siding at the store and my house burned to the ground. So I go to the store talk to them tell them I'm dealing with insurance and don't even have a truck to pick up my siding that I had payed for they say no problem its fine here. But it wasn't. They decide to sale my siding I payed for and will not replace it .I have talked to Ryan the manager at the design center in Springfield MO. And he said they would replace it. Thats the last thing he said over 4 months ago now he will not take my calls or return them he is a lier and I feel they are thieves
