The thing I LOVE about Torrid is Quality and consistency. I have found my size and I have no fear of buying Online now... nearest brick and morter is a little over an hour away. The clothes all wash up well (just do what the tag says).

PJ L: Used to go here all the time, but recently it has gotten really bad.A manager that is there every time I go in makes really rude comments to me every single time I’m there, and I’ve heard her make really rude comments to other women as well (always in relation to weight or size).Additionally, the last couple of times it has been more dirty and unsanitary. There is a water leak in the ceiling of the changing rooms that hasn’t been dealt with so there is mold & mildew growing all over the place in addition to the fact that it doesn’t appear that anyone ever cleans or dusts beyond picking up trash because there is a thick layer of dust & grime on almost everything.I tried to give them another shot yesterday & the supervisor was being incredibly condescending to the employee in front of customers & then acted like no one just saw her quite literally putting the other employee there down. They can’t clean or treat employees or customers with respect. What are they actually good for? There are plenty of other plus size retailers now.

She never smiled but instead gave me looks as if she wished i would hurry up and leave the store. Sorry i lost all my hair due to having cancer and going through chemo and im not beautiful like your other customers but she made me feel awful. Please be nice to your customers. You never know what someone is going through.

Melissa Garcia: Helpful staff. Merchandise could use more sizes in 10-12, & 12-14. It'd be great to have a public restroom & babychanger, too. It would make things more simpler when shopping and needing to change the little ones. We had to leave the store all together to take potty breaks and then return to the store to continue shopping. This problem could be easily solved by adding public restrooms with babychangers or just shopping elsewhere all together.

RitzDitz: Normally I try and go in to the store to buy my clothes from Lane Bryant. Today i ordered clothes from the website for the deals I was getting. I go to have the item delivered to the store, due to other items I have ordered (not from here, but other places), have been stolen off of my door step!! But when I put my zip code in, the closest store that does the delivery to store pick up is the Tanger Outlet Mall in Branson Missouri. Uh no, I’m not driving all the way there to pick up my clothes that I ordered!! So I ordered the items and had them shipped to my place of residence. I got to thinking about what just happened and decided to go to the location in the Springfield Missouri Mall and see that Lane Bryant is still in the mall and does factory to store to customer pick-up!! What the bloody h-e-double hockey sticks!! Why wasn’t this store getting picked up on the website. Now that I’m thinking about this, I’ve ordered items before on the website and had it sent to the store!! Why, not this time?? It was over the amount you have to have not to pay shipping and handling?? Ugh!! I swear if my stuff gets stolen off of my door I will be one ticked off woman!!UPDATE: Received my order, almost stollen! As I was coming outside to get my order!! Cuz whoever delivered it gave me about 2 secs to get to the door after they knocked!! But love my stuff!! Still won’t have any of my future orders sent to my house if I can help it!!

Stephen Fullerton: My wife and daughter both love this place. It feels very welcoming when you walk in, and inside the girls who work at many of the Catos facilities are very friendly and will talk up a storm about clothes and what would look nicest for each person and what they are looking for.Though Catos can be a bit pricey, they have amazing quality clothing and accessories. My daughter has mentioned many times that when she has gone there, she finds it easy to pick out random clothes from different areas of the store and make an entire outfit out of everything they offer.I suppose the only complaint my daughter has at least had, is the fact that some of the tops are so very thin that you can look through the shirt and she has to, more than once, double layer with the shirts she gets from Catos. But she has said that it does not dampen her experience with the store.

Victoria: Need to check your ELDER employees on business edict. The younger women there are very nice. Just cuz I'm young and went to a store where my friend works was no need for them to be watching me like a hawk cuz I wasn't a "regular" client. I was wearing a talbots shirt when I walked in!! But apparently that doesnt matter, I could have dressed in all black like a goth it shouldn't matter. The store has high priced old lady clothes but I wanted to find something nice for family members, but I did find one thing that was actually cute in the store thanks to my younger friend who works there who was healping me navigate the store, and I bought the item, but yet was still being looked at with judgy eyes. If you guys want bussiness you need to treat people with some respect. I definitely felt like I was in the movie pretty woman when the stuck up women didn't want to service her for the way she looked. You guys need to step it up or you'll go out of business for sure.

Anna Epps: Are the employees getting paid extra to be rude? The entire time both employees were incredibly rude and dismissive. I practically had to chase an employee down to ask if they had other sizes of a shirt, and they wouldn’t even answer the question when I was able to find someone. Waited 10 minutes for someone to check me out, and when someone arrived, she was incredibly rude when I didn’t want to provide my phone number. Not coming back.
