Urban Roots Farm: what do users think?
Rita Abdulla: I sent my health aide to get some fresh veggies. She was not able to pick what I wanted. They had no tomatoes only one bunch ofgreen onions. So the aide got the onions and one cucumber. The onions are rotten on the green part and the cucumber is also bad. These two items cost well over 3.00. You should be ashamed to sell this gave you one star only. Because that's the only way I could post this
C Cunningham: This place is awesome. Very unique spot in the urban West Central neighborhood. Its beautiful to see plants growing in the neighborhood.
Alexandria Jackson: I love what they are trying to do.
RORY Montgomery: Neighborhood urban farm. Great assest to our community.
Bonnie Hobson: Ok
Andrea England: Loved touring this little plot of abundance
Rachel: Grandma rented their B&B and felt very unsafe being there at night alone
Kit H: Pretty good selection of produce and even carry eggs and mushrooms and stuff like that. The prices seem a bit higher than you would find at a farmers market but the fridge is open every day I think. The iPad to pay could be a bit more user friendly. I wish there was just a card scanner or a place to hover your phone to pay. Otherwise a great way to get fresh produce.
Keith Owens: Urban Roots is a true treasure of the Queen City. Know your farmer. From CSA shares to dropping in to the farm stand before dinner, it's a great place run by great people.
Will Cazel: it's snowing
Samuel Hester: Loved the airbnb, although that is all I can base this on.
Ramon Arrowsmith: Really cool place. Beautiful produce. Nice greens this time of year. Friendly farmers! We stayed at the airbnb on site which was very nice.
Paul “NaZ” May: Yummy and fresh as it gets veggies, cosy place, awesome people. Definitely recommend!
RyVilla967: I go to the Farmerstand weekly. I have been very happy with there produce and convenient shopping. You can get better shallots or chives at the local stores!
Christine Anons: A lovely little farm in the middle of the city. Freshly picked fruits, veggies, and herbs, and sometimes other goodies like flowers or goat cheese. Everything I've bought has been excellent quality and oh-so-tasty!
james s: I needed carrots " with the dirt" to try put an experiment for my biology classes and they provided great carrots! :)
Douglas Hon: Great place not to pricey .. Nice ppl ther.. Will go back and buy food.
Christopher Armstrong: To urban plus I never went here don't know why it showed up
Jerry Butterbaugh: Unique place, this was a fun place for a charity function
JB (Burnard): Talked to someone on the phone if they had carrots (they did). I shortly arrived and didn't see a single person at the farm, and was able to pay in cash through a drop box. Just got done cooking with all I got and had one of the best meals in ages (thanks to using fresh local produce). Can't praise Root Urban Farm highly enough but I can settle for 5 out of 5 stars.
Allan Stites: Nice community store..

Bee Healthy Farms LLC: what do users think?
Aaron bayer: if you’re not bothered by pesticides or toxic exposure from foods you eat, this may be a good store for you. They seem to have a similar “don’t ask won’t tell” approach with their ethics. When ordering supplements, propolis, etc through their site it will only provide a partial list of ingredients for each of their products (listing healthy only) leaving out the toxic fillers, HFCS and other additives for you to read on the labels yourself once received in mail & good luck on returning anything
Jean-Francois Lariviere: Supporting bees and beekeepers to produce holistic Apitherapy products for humans and other living things.

Fassnight Farm: what do users think?
Martha Andrews: It is so wonderful to find a piece of country in the city. You can walk to the stream and feel like you are far away from city life. The staff are all so helpful. You'll find the owner and some family there most days. Love it❤️
Steve Hare: Down home friendly. Best folks around in this kind of business.
Jessi Hartin: Excellent place for plants and great service! They know plants. I used to go to big bix stores but after many years of plants not doing well I go here. They are a little more but you know they will last!!! Many stores over fertilize and damage the plants. Plus I love supporting local businesses. Dan is so nice and knowledgeable. I wouldn't go anywhere else
Sierra Tucker: Very cute and such a nice place to take the kids to see.
Donald Clark: Very nice people. They still have tomatoes, pumpkins and apple's. When everyone else had run out. They had exactly what I needed. Will definitely go back again.
Trisha Marie: We went here to get pumpkins and we were really surprised by the huge variety they had. It was awesome! It was fun searching for the perfect pumpkins with so many to choose from. They also had fresh vegetables inside the little shop, which was cool. Also the lady running the shop was very sweet, I highly recommend checking them out.
Stephen Clover: Great assortment of pumpkins. We've visited 2 years in a row and plan on it again next year.

AzOmon R: One of the best places to get fruits and veggies, plants from. The owners are very nice and they treat everyone like a family. Definitely going there again and again. Thank you guys.Azer Baijan
Angela Jordan: Fassnight Creek Farms is an amazing experience and a wonderful way of experiencing an ncredible down to earth Family run farm. There are so many choices of great looking fruits and vegetables. However, definitely be prepared to be treated by a smile and a handshake, not to mention buying something that you never thought that you would make or try or would even like because you would be so surprised how much you indeed do like. I'm not being prejudice by saying this as this is my Uncle and Aunt Family farm but I'm telling you won't be sorry and you will want to come back every season.
Sandy Beeson: The produce was way too high

Corben Eighmy: Cool sightings
Sydney Blair: Future reference: this place is private property and the police will most likely get called on you for trespassing! Probably best to just leave the place alone
bETH gOODELL: Creepy out of the way
Kaya Violet: Followed the address and it took us to the neighborhood pool and showed us that it was in the woods but there was no way to like go in, the grass is very high and we are confused if anyone can help please let me know
Jay Jarrett: I will at a later time !
Ineffable Raps: Don't get lost in the dark.
Jessie Hood: I’m a paranormal fan and I came to drive across Hatchet Man’s bridge. You can see some structures from the road but I didn’t go on the property.
Mason Strange: Very creepy. The stonework draws you deeper into the thicket as you try to piece together what happened here. It's good stuff
cheap dale (Moose): This farm was once owned by the Sheedy family. Spinster sisters were the last of the family to live here. They hired an albino to be caretaker to the property. Rumours abound and many local folks will tell you that his ghost still haunts the old farmstead. The Tall Tale Of The Albino FarmPosted by Grace ChangSpringfield is known as one of the most haunted places in Missouri.Just north of the Greenlawn Cemetery is a property over 100 years old called the Springlawn Farm which is also known as the “Albino Farm.”According to the local legends from the Underground Ozarks, a forum of people who explore “places you’re not supposed to go” in the Ozarks, the farm was owned by a farmhand that had albinism who scared off trespassers with a shotgun or a hospital that performed experiments on people with albinism. One of the most prominent pieces on the farm is this “Evil Awaits” painted on a structure outside of where the foundation of the house stands.Although there are countless urban legends that follow this eerie plot of land, there was not always a ghost story attached to it.The farm originally belonged to the Headleys family in the late 1800s then later in 1915 was sold to the Sheedys family; it was home to a horse racing track reported by Herschel Fincher of The Springfield Leader & Press in 1979.Once the last the Sheedy heir passed away, an auction flooded the estate for the Headleys’ belongings.September 1, 1980 fire was set to the barn, potentially by arsonists, which spread to the house, leaving the structure unable to be saved by the volunteer firefighters on site according to an article from Barbara Clauser of The Springfield News & Press.Since price of the damages were so severe, the repairs were not worth the cost.Today the Springlawn Farm stands with arbitrary pieces of architecture covered in graffiti on a few acres of land.
