Jon Hodgson: If you need animal feed or farm supplies this place should be at the top of your list. You can phone in an order and pick it up at their dock hassle free. If you need hay or straw this isn't the place, you need to go a bit further down Kearney towards Kansas for that.

We picked up a few items (beef and chicken) to try to see if there was any difference in quality. Let me tell you - there is a HUGE difference in quality. I am not sure what they are adding to the beef and chicken in the stores. We have since been loyal customers and now have a freezer stocked with meat! So happy we found Blue Silo!!

We'll either go to the farm store, which is super cute, btw, or order online and pick up at the farm, which couldn't be easier. For a small, family-run operation and having three young kids, they're on top of their game: they're incredibly professional, communicative, and have one of the easiest websites to navigate and purchase from. And they raise some really tasty meat!I highly recommend getting on their email list so you can hear what's going on on the farm, get recipes, and know what's in stock or on sale at any given time. You won't be disappointed. Promise!

Absolutely excellently packaged, and when we get home, I compared it to some of the beef I have bought at grocery stores. There is no comparison. Blue Silo’s quality Is far superior. We also received a receipt to let us know exactly what had been packed into our order. Another great part of ordering from them is you’re getting this for less than $6 a pound. We will buy our beef from Blue Silo from now on.

Kassi is so nice, and very accommodating. Our hamburger was the 90/10 grade, looks and taste like it's from the farm, no fillers, no water, looks nothing like what you buy in a store and definitely does not taste like store meat. We will be buying alot more from this family farm.
