Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Springfield: what do users think?
Kinsey Taryn: Always really clean
Moody Minerals: My all time favorite movie theater! This is the only one I ever want to go to. Friendly workers, amazing food, and comfy recliners that you don’t have to pay extra for like those other theaters!😌
Erin Badger: Amazing food and comfy seats. What more do you want in a theater?!
Noah: If you don’t show up at the exact time of your movie they won’t let you in.
Kelli Jo Chance: Enjoyed it all, but very pricey.
Daniel Doyle: Not a fan of the 18% service charge.I love this theater! I moved to Springfield in2019, thisbplace has always been amazing! Always clean, everyone is always nice, tickets have always been cheap! Great place.
Keith Rizzo: Great theater. Good food. Always clean.
Shawn Tucker: Great food. Great atmosphere. Definitely going back again.
Jeremy Blades: Always a good time at Alamo
Abigail Reyes: 40 minutes Into the movie we were asked to leave because we were "late"..we walked in as it was started. after going thru 2 different staff members that okayed us to sit down. I have never experienced something like this EVER. We will never go back.
Steve P: Comfortable and good service.
Glenn K: Excellent place to catch a movie in Springfield. Tracie Clark and I love the movie parties! She also really loves the margaritas 😉.
Alyssa Bigham: I LOVE visiting the Alamo. Food is incredible, staff is well organized and amazing. The entire experience is what it should be. Love this place
Karla Reeder: Pre-purchase tickets for 620 pm show. Only question it asked was is anyone under 18. Said yes on 3. Got there and they told us we could not bring the 3 year old or baby in.Very disappointed with this. Manager was not helpful either. Just told us no children after 3 pm showing times. We will not be back.
Kayla Kemp: I love every Alamo I’ve been to. But Springfield did not enforce its no talking policy during the movie. The group immediately to my right arrived late, on their phones, talked over the movie, and cause so much noise that I decided to leave. But no staff was around. I had to leave the theater and still could not locate a single employee. I went to the front of house, no one was around for ten minutes. Finally, I found an employee more than 15 minutes later and cashed out, tipped, and paid over $45 (that bottomless popcorn is good). However, it took another 10 minutes to checkout and the employee informed me that I needed to raise this issue with someone in my theater. I tried but no one was there. And other patrons shushed the group repeatedly. It is wild to be told in a theater that has a no noise policy that I should have notified someone when I could not get someone to assist me
TiKesha Rodriguez (Kesha): Great place to watch any new movie! The service is amazing!!
Matt Coleman: Won't do business here. They don't take cash and charge 18% no matter how the service is.
Serrena Smith: Worst experience of my life staff is horrible, DO BETTER!!!
Nick C: Very good food. Great selection. Large reclining chairs and a pager system for the waiter while you watch that movie you couldn't wait for. Hard to beat the comfort.
Debbie Byrd: Putting tips on your bill is stupid! I was going to tip more, but because they did that, I didn't! We as customers should be allowed to tip what we want!
Kylion Gaming: I have always had a good experience here. Good food, comfortable chairs, and as someone who HATES theaters because of talking people or loud chewing of popcorn. There is never any talking. My only issue was tonight, had the server walk pass us 4 times without grabbing our order card.

Hollywood Theaters: what do users think?
True Believer: Always my favorite theater, just not the best location.
Stephen Clover: It's great having a downtown theatre
Mysti Brueggemann: We went to see the Fathom event to kill a mockingbird. I took my parents, in their 80's, they always find something wrong...lol. BUT NO!! The temperature in the theatre was perfect, the seats comfy, the whole theatre was immaculate! The young woman at the snack counter knew her job and was beyond kind and good. No there was no amazing story. She was just perfect. Smile, happy to help me, and great popcorn dipper. This has been my theatre of choice the last few times I have gone to the movies. I live in Marionville so not a quick place to choose. So it must be good. I love the Fathom events. My only wish is that they add the performances of the ballet or the opera...what fun. But I understand, they know the audience better than I. Thank you Hollywood Theatre for a great afternoon with my parents!!!
Mary Morrison: Cozy atmosphere, great to bring kids to.
Regina M Goodman: Clean fast and great picture quality!
Ayesha Siddika Nipu: Not a big screen but good enough to enjoy a 2D show with your loved ones.
Jim Agee: You have to buy your ticket 1st if you want to use the restroom. So if you go alone to the movies be sure sure that you don't go to the concession stand 1st because there is no place to put your food unless you want to take it with you in the restroom. Other than that it was a good experience overall. Crazy Rule in my opinion
John Durbin: I mostly enjoy coming here because of the smaller crowds. Always a good selection of first run movies to pick from and the typical snacks to choose from. Having free garage parking right across the street is another nice feature.
FOSTER TV LLC: We love this theater it is never busy so you can spread out. Great place to social distance. Only issue is prices have Increased tremendously.
Searching with Clay: Nice place to watch first run movies. It seemed well run. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because they make you buy tickets at the concessions counter, which greatly slows the process of getting a ticket if you don't want any concessions.
Terry Headrick: Like
Noman Rocks: When I got here the doors were locked and I had pre ordered tickets
Killian Lile: The seating isn't the best, but value Tuesdays are a good deal and the staff are nice.
Bibin Mathew: Great viewing experience.
Cheyenne Reber: This is our main theater we go to. Love it alot. We have monthly unlimited passes that is around $20 bucks per person which makes it to where we can see as many movies as we want as many times as we want. The only issue I have is some of the Theaters have been really cold lately and with it being Wunter right now. It's hard to enjoy the movies sometimes, but overall we love this place.
Laura Rasdall: Very smooth clean
Jacob Willis: Really fun experience
Kyle Tuter: Took my son to see Halloween kills we had a great time Friendly staff and helpful
Robert Jolliff: This is a great place to watch a movie
Destiny_ Lentz: The employees were beyond rude to us and I was over charged for a small soda, it's pretty pricey on everything and the movies weren't exactly that good. Also a friend tried to get something to eat and the lady at the concessions said "we don't serve that here" when it was on the board.
Eric Grossberg: We always have a good experience here. Even when there's a problem, they're quick to fix it.

AMC Springfield 11: what do users think?
Marie Clowers: Popcorn and soft drinks omg 20.00 for a bucket of popcorn and a single drink. Geez it's way way to high.
The Conrad Fam: Fun for the family!
Laurie Wolters: Clean theater, unfortunately 1 of our seats did not work. Talked to the manager after the movie, and he said thanks for letting me know. Really?
Naomi Saturley: It's ok. Needs updated. Seats aren't comfortable. They don't come thru and make sure people are sitting in their correct chairs.
Barbara Kyle: This is a great place to take the family for a movie night!
Allison Schwartz: Clean theatre, friendly staff, good fresh popcorn!
Samuel Senn: Go on Tuesdays for discount tickets and see movies in Imax if you can!
Alyssa Bigham: Not a bad theater but I heard they charge more for middle seats now… lame
Aaron Roberts: CRAZY Expensive for popcorn.
Darryl Derrick: Great place
Tammy Crawford: Great popcorn, comfortable seating, love going to the movies here!
Jan Guin: Is there a reason a LGBTQ influencer is on before the movie? Couldn’t we have seen the story without promoting that?
Addyson Mead: Great service and provides you with a classic movie theatre feel while being technologically advanced!
Mary Cunningham: Love the theater - The little mermaid was good in 3d but really like the original better
Timothy Capehart: I like going to see movies. I'm not too happy about how expensive it's gotten, but this has been somewhat mitigated by joining the AMC Stubs A-list. I can now see up to 3 movies a week for a monthly fee of about $21. This includes IMAX and 3D movies. There are other perks as well, such as no fee for online seat reservations, a free bucket of popcorn with drink on the month of your birthday, and if you spend any additional money you get reward points.I would prefer that there were still less expensive theaters in business, but this is not as bad as it could be.
SuzyQ: Just a heads up if you have inflammation problem..there oil they use as BUTTER is different oil. They took the pumps out and that Oil aka fake butter but its oil was good this new stuff will cripple you before you leave. Serious its bad oil i couldnt move when i left its what ever is in that new oil they use as butter.
Torie Barks: The only downfall is that the parking lot is too small and its hard to find a spot. Great variety of snacks. Comfy seats
Danielle Macdonald: I would give the cleanliness 4/5 and staff a 5/5. It is a great experience overall, would mention to bring a blanket or jacket if you get cold easily, it is a bit on the cooler side! Enjoy the next movie you watch!
Haylee Anderson: The seats are really comfortable!
Dana Buxton: Love the seats. All staff on the 25 of May were fantastic.
Ron Locke: Love the IMAX!

Bill Fowler: Great cinema experience, comfortable seating, great sound & sharp projection.

FOSTER TV LLC: We went to see Bros. Very friendly staff. We were the only two in the theater. Food was fresh, candy was fresh pop was good.
Travis N George: Great movie and no one to bump elbows with! Lol
Brandon Keene: This theater isn't bad. The parking is in one of two nearby parking garages and the theater is in the heart of Downtown Springfield. Very clean and the staff is polite. You purchase tickets at the pickup window prior to walking in the building which eliminates foot traffic from people who wouldn't normally buy a ticket but want to loiter on the property.
Jana Kleven: We had a very pleasant experience at Regal College Station Theater. The ticket lady was very kind (we bought our tickets in person in advance), the young man collecting tickets was nice, the bathrooms were very clean and the seats were comfortable!
Ryan Sharp: Best theater in Springfield.
Jamie Masten: Best movie place in town
Hzl B: We enjoy, visiting the shows at Regal College Station. All staff, for us - Friendly, Cheerful, Helpful. Very Clean. Ease, of parking.
Amber Collier-reynolds: Lady at concessions very rude everybody else very friendly did not care for the chairs I'm too light to keep them back but my feet did get smashed by people in the front of me just really love AMC's chairs better
Tanner Weigand: Nice employees
Burt Lintt: Very nice theater.
R Turer: More absurd food prices than elsewhere but clean, downtown and a gem for those nearby and MSU.
Debbi King: Comfortable movie viewing.
Kathleen Gallagher: Not handicapped accessible at out and inside doors. Not enough help to sell tickets. They were sold at the busy concession counter. I will go somewhere else, next time.
Matthew Sheppard: They have to search bags because some sneak contraband in. Nice employees though.
Makayla Batson: Wished it had seats like the imax
Dave L: Purchased tickets online easily.

Dance Mission: The BEST videographer around! Highly recommend!
Mark: Having worked with Scott Bradley on various projects I can say Scott is the ultimate professional, his expertise and knowledge in video production is unparalleled.
Shavon Burton: Not only is the owner very unprofessional but he also has a terrible personal character. I would never recommend his services to anyone. Word to the wise if you hear the name Scott Bradley or Pulse Studios you should run...take your money somewhere worth it!!

Historic Firehouse No.2: what do users think?
Greg Johnson: Had a one on one tour with the owner, Mary Collette. She was engaging and thorough. The venue has charm and various historical items and features of interests throughout.
John Epperson: My apologies not sure why it was given a 2 star initially totally my error. Fantastic venue beautiful. Mary was wonderful along with the staff. I apologize for the confusion, and recommend them highly!
Sara Johnson: Beautiful and big venue. Gorgeous outside area
Frances Stallcup: We highly recommend this beautiful venue! It is filled with character, charisma, and authentic decorations. Mary is accommodating and fun to work with. If you are looking for a Springfield location with historical value in Queen City, check out this venue on Commercial St!HIVEMINDED Marketing
DJ Noji: Really cool place to have your wedding! Staff is friendly and helpful too!
Dan D: Nice facility. Inside and out
hallchopper: My daughter's wedding was here in 2013. My co-worker recently selected this venue, which make me re-visit the experience.I laughed as I read through the reviews, as it looks like Mary is still up to her old tricks, the same as 6 years ago.The good- The place is beautiful. Décor and ambiance' abound. The bridal area was large, private and comfortable. There were not enough mirrors at the time, I'm sure they've improved that by now.The outdoor wedding space was lovely, and the inside equally so. The catering space is quite ample.Mary is an odd duck. This has been mentioned in light sprinkles through out these reviews. It's not enough to keep me from recommending the place- it outweighs the behavior of Mary.We brought in our own caterer. Mary made herself a plate of food and ate it. Mary made her significant other a plate of food to take home. Mary did not ask. My husband addressed her and asked if she'd been enjoying our caterer's food. He then pointed out that at a $20 per person catering fee, we did not expect her to help herself to $40 worth of food.Mary acted like she'd never heard of a per person catering charge before. Said she was sorry, but her food was already eaten, and her hubby's food was already plated, so we shouldn't waste it. She then had the gall to ask if her staff could eat after the guests were finished. We said NO. (We did invite them to eat later after dinner service ended-we were just appalled at her at that moment). The other odd thing Mary did was linger. Weeks later, after all the wedding photos were developed, my daughter pointed something out. Mary lurking in many, many photos. A disproportionate amount. And in very strange places- meaning in many of the family group photos.I didn't find Mary condescending as much as oddly disconnected-Kind of a universe loves me and I'm oblivious to everyone else's needs. Like a self absorbed teenage girl, only concerned with how things affect her.In the end, the venue outweighs the squirrelly behavior of Mary.I guess some people might say we were stingy with our food, but after spending $3000+, I think Mary could buy her evening meal.
John Langley: Great for weddings
Jessica Yahn: As a local wedding photographer, I have had the opportunity to photograph several weddings at The Historic Firehouse. It is one of my favorite venues in the Springfield, MO area. The Firehouse is beautiful both inside & outside. There has been so much renovation done on Commercial Street and this venue is one of its many amazing spots.
Christine James: Went to a wedding there. It is a very nice place
Ralphie Saeed: We attended the open house. Building appears to be well maintained. Open house staff was friendly and warm towards are party. The tour was well detailed and gave us a good understanding of what the venue offers for weddings and parties. Second staff provided a good understanding of the finances and expectations of the venue.
Becca Q: My friends wedding was held here. It was super pretty and rustic. Perfect if that's what you're in to. Only thing was it was a little cold for a February wedding. But that didn't bother me
Jessica Campbell: Great place for photos!
doug smith: Very historic
C Landis: Attented a wedding at this venue and it was absolutely beautiful.
Kelley McCoy: Nice venue
Ann Dougherty: My daughter and son-in-law found communication with the owner, Mary, to be a little chaotic, and getting payment to her was nerve-wracking. However, Amanda managed our event Amanda, Allison, and Drew helped me SO much to put on an amazingly lovely reception. They were a Godsend.
RyVilla967: I have been to a few fantastic weddings at this venue. It's unique and clean!
mcdaris7 mohamad7: It served the Northside for many years..had a great bunch of firemen there..they were always ready to lend a helping hand..I live by it for 56 years
Kathy Swearingin: Beautifu place.
Candi: I would suggest you research other venues before choosing this one. It is a cool venue with Springfield history. But where other venue's include a lot of things as you would expect, the Firehouse nickels & dimes you to death. You will pay extra for the bride and groom areas to get ready in, the balcony, tablecloths ($22 each..I bought off amazon half the price), etc. We rented the facility anyway, everyone seemed nice when they are trying to sell you on the place, but the wedding day was a different story, they were not friendly, and not helpful. The list of complaints is really too long for a review, but I will cover some highlights. We had the space rented for a specific amount of time, when some family/bridal party got there, the owner had people show up to tour the facility during our rental time when we were getting ready and setting up, then she asked if we could wait an hour to set up, we couldn't do that. It was 85 degrees, but when it was suggested we set the wedding up inside due to heat they basically said no it is better outside, so we did. So I wanted chairs inside and out for the guests so they could be inside until the wedding started to stay cool. The owner argued with me and said it is always set up outside and then guests grab their chairs and bring them in for the reception. First of all, it was too hot to sit out there while waiting, and there were more than enough chairs for both areas. After all, rental was supposed to cover all the chairs and tables. We were told we would have to take care of all the chairs and make sure they were all put up. Fine. The usage of the chairs clearly irritated her because she brought it up 2-3 more times during the reception of when and if we were picking them all up or if she needed to call in staff to take care of it. I told her I had it handled. The owner was also the bartender that night and was not friendly and quite rude to several family/guests, I had several come to me about it thinking the owner may want to know, they were surprised to find out she was the owner. She clearly did not want to be there. After the wedding a bunch of us put all the chairs up, cleared all the tables and boxed up all of our stuff, we saved her and the one guy there a ton of time by doing all the work. The man, I didn't get his name was very nice by the way. Afterwards, the owner had nothing to say, no thank you for all the work we did cleaning up in which she never once said "oh we take care of that as part of the rental", not one thank you for your business, not even a bye. Cool venue, but I will NEVER recommend it, I seriously doubt many of the guests would either. Despite my irritation the wedding was beautiful, the venue has a lot of charm.
