Tessa Cooper: Andrew Semple and his team played such an instrumental role in helping us land our dream historic home. We needed a conventional Fannie Mae HomeStyle loan to buy and restore our 1886 fixer upper as first-time home buyers. Andrew was the only lender in town who knew the ins and outs of this rare and great loan. He also went to extra lengths to ensure we had funds in our Escrow account to pay for our mortgage until our new home was livable. He even helped us problem-solve during the renovation process too. Bobi Jo Douglas: Just read a review of someone having a similar situation - At first Andrew was really informative and communicated great. I submitted my application back in February/early March. Andrew said everything looked good, and I spent months asking about the status. It's now June and he takes off to Poland after sitting on my stuff. His assistant jumped in and got the ball rolling, but at this point I've had to update all info previously provided, provide "gapped" information that was missed. This is extremely disappointing as they came highly referred by a previous customer and a local building company. The organization and lack of communication has been very misleading and disappointing.. too bad I'm too far into the process to turn back otherwise.. I would be going elsewhere.. Andrew has simply made building this dream a nightmare!!

One of the things I liked was the options to upload documents to their secured web portal to get pre-approved for a loan, which comes in handy when one can't stop by an office during normal business hours. If I had to go thru the process all over again I would use Andrew and his team again.

Aenlightenedliving: Wasted my son's time and money. He and his wife were approved for a loan and had a house under contract. They spent about $1500 for inspections and an appraisal. A couple of weeks before closing, they received an email stating that underwriting didn't like his income. Who sends this kind of information in an email?. How unprofessional. Prime Lending left this young couple hanging. This company has demonstrated a complete lack of care and concern.

Karen Smith: I know there are a lot of lenders out there to choose from. As a first time home buyer I know this all to well but let me save you time and stress. Chris Krans has been a blessing during this home buying process. I contacted him after I had already made an offer on a house. My original lender had me preapproved but then she moved companies without notifying me and was not able to get me qualified for the type of loan I wanted after her move. I had basically given up hope on getting the house I wanted but then I was directed to Chris. He worked into the night to get me qualified for the loan I wanted and get my approval letter to the seller. Chris was quick to get things done so there were no last minute scrambles to provide documentation. During COVID many people have had issues closing on time but not me. Don't waste your time starting elsewhere like I did.

Paul Theby: Bart was very helpful when I applied for a new mortgage there. There were some issues on my end and he went out of his way to help me and thoroughly went over some things for us when it became apparent that we have to wait a while before moving forward; he still met with me again to help. I have my current mortgage through New American Funding and have been happy but I don't remember the last time someone at a business spent an hour with me even after the sale was essentially lost in the short term. It's smart business but it still rarely happens in my experience. I would and will recommend him to any one.
