Kelsey Jenkins: I am very sad that this provider isn't more reliable. It would be nice to have water delivered weekly, on schedule. This was not the case at all. The empty jugs sit out for days (on the scheduled day of the week) without being replenished. Calls to this number are hardly ever answered. I know that the driver is busy but the customers deserve a heads-up and a routine delivery. Had to cancel service. Hope they refund all my glass jug deposits soon $$$$.

Nelda Collins: We love our system, feels great to know my drinking water has no herbicides or pesticide or microorganisms. Also awesome shut off valve when we need because of broken pipes during winter frozen shut off and didn't soak our kitchen floor. Rick Elie came out and took samples of our water we determined what we needed and ordered the system. Have culligan systems in multiple homes very nice for city water because no chlorine. Also hard water had ruined hot water heater and appliances so this eliminated that problem. And we use much less dish and laundry soap. It pays for itself. I have good hair days just like the commercial advertising but it is soft on the skin to helping keep wrinkles from the face and i have noticed it helps with stomach easy on stomach. Did notice drinking water can be harsh on stomach. I would have had them earlier feel healthier now 😌 ☺.

Eva Michelle Berry: Rick Elie is the best. We bought a campground last summer. 3 of the buildings had water softeners. This summer 1 of the showers in the public shower house stopped working. We found it was clogged up with mineral deposits. Rick came out and discovered that none of the water softeners were working. He had new ones installed in a matter of weeks. I don't want to think of the amount of money and head aches he saved us from replacing washing machines, dishwashers or even plumbing. We are Culligan customers for life

Rhonda Burk: Very rarely does a company go out of their way like Culligan of Springfield did for me. During the freezing temperatures, we had this winter my Culligan water softener that is over 20 years old froze, cracking the tank and head. Rick Elie came out to assess the situation and advised me of my options ( Full replacement would be needed). I let Rick know with the recent loss of my husband i wouldn't be able to afford anew systems. After a couple of days and not another thought of the water softener, I received a call from Rick with Culligan with some good news. Culligan of Springfield was going to come to help me with a refurbished softener so i wouldn't have to suffer with the negative concerns that hard water presents. Companies like Culligan Water of Springfield and people like Rick restored my faith in humanity. Thank you Culligan

Heidi Maddox: Never had any issues in the last year, have had a few outages but they were resolved in under 3 hours, this morning a prime example power went out at 6:30 heard a loud boom, an hour later our power was restored. We are originally from Michigan where we have consumers energy for electric I can honestly say city utilities are a million times better

Andrew Brown: Beware of these CROOKS! Me and my fiance recently sold our house, and move up KC. We notified CU that we're selling our house, and would be out on the 5th. For some reason, the new owners had not put the utilities in there names yet, so they shut off the power on the morning of the 5th while we were still moving the last bit of our stuff out. We called them, asking why the utilities were shut off and that they should still be on, but in the new owners name. They said the new owners had not yet put it in there names, but they would notate the account with that info, and would turn it back on. What they didn't tell us, was that they were going to charge us a $15 reconnect fee, and continue to charge us till the 8th, even though we fully sold the house on the 5th. Fast forward to now, and we receive a crazy high utility bill. Call and inquire, talked to a supervisor, and there were all extremely rude, and could care less that they charged us for power on days we didn't use, never the less, actually owned the home for. We have always paid our utility bill on time, and have never had any issues. But these people have absolutely no humanity! Plus, the new owners put the utilities in there name the day of the 5th. So there charging two families for the same 3 days of power. I can't explain how much I loathe this utility company, and would never recommend them to anyone!!

Gina Bogart: Pathetic company that is not for the people. Transformer blew and I was out of electricity and had to leave my place of work which happens to be my home and they will not give a discount for the time and money lost.
Johnny Cain: The card I had on autopay was lost and reordered through my card company. So when my autopay didn’t go through with CU (first time ever), they didn’t bother reaching out to me before charging me a $40 junk fee. This is what happens when there’s no other option for service. Monopoly companies are allowed to charge whatever junk fee they want. Even if it’s as much as 20% of your whole bill. This is greedy and bad management.Update: the day after leaving this review I got a voicemail saying that they were crediting the $40 late fee since I had perfect pay history. I’m glad they read their reviews but I wonder how many people get stuck with these junk fees from a company that people have no choice but to use. And the fees don’t make sense. It’s $25 for missing the payment then $15 for being late. That’s the same fee with a different name. And they don’t even have any reason to charge it. It’s not like they lost $40 for me being a few days late. It’s seriously an abuse on lower income people. What if I wasn’t in a position to easily cover that fee? The worst part is, a review is the most anyone can do about it. You have zero other choices except to go without utilities somehow.

I got a shut off notice Friday afternoon, I called city utilities as soon as they opened in regards to giving me till Wednesday to pay the bill. They told me they couldn’t help me. That it was already scheduled. I don’t have family here where am I suppose to put my daughter while she is on oxygen. The temperature drops to freezing at night. I don’t know what to do. Who to ask for help. All I needed was till Wednesday. They are horrible providers. And don’t care about the public or my daughter life. I hate these people

Callie McNeil: My usage is usually only around 70 dollars a month but I missed a payment about a year ago and have never been able to get my bill under 485 dollars. I pay about 360 dollars a MONTH and have never been able to catch up. The fees are ridiculous and no one ever can actually tell me what “fees” I’m paying for. An absolute SCAM. It’s infuriating that there’s nothing anyone can do because this is the only company you can go through.

Money hungry, wanting to shut peoples utilities off any chance they get whether they have kids and or are disabled. Come beating on peoples doors in the morning for no reason other than to drop off a notice that should have been mailed a week ago. On top of that, what happened the the Cold weather law in missouri, you guys should probably read that because you shouldnt be allowed to shut off peoples utilities when its going to get freezing cold outside. Gene Hamer: Our salesman Kyler and our installer Levi were both very knowledgeable and informative. It was just installed today. Everything is great so far.

Paul Swanson: Our installer arrived exactly on time and did the work quickly and efficiently. We have had our new water for a month. By the end of the first week we noticed a big change in how much more quickly the water drains from the bathtubs. In the second week our sinks, faucets and toilets started looking cleaner without any extra work on our part. We're really enjoying the showers! We had a water softer years ago and had forgotten how much we missed it. And the water tastes great too.

Jusstha Facts: UPDATE TO OWNER'S RESPONSE:Patrick called and left me a voicemail apologizing for being, "out of touch" while texting the prior week, on the phone number that he claimed was a disconnected line. A timely manner to me is shorter than weeks of texting, with me initiating and moving the conversation along through reminders to not forget about me.In regard to my initial phone call, at that time, Patrick should have informed me that they didn't carry filters nor could service an existing RO system - I would gladly have upgraded to a new RO system.After the owner's response, I am now convinced that I got lucky by not having these jokers anywhere near my home.ORIGINAL POSTI have been trying to purchase a new RO system from these people for the past three weeks. I was in texting communication with Patrick, and he completely dropped the ball. I guess this company doesn't need a new customer nor do they seem to care.

I can already tell a difference with washing dishes and doing laundry after just one night. So excited about this investment for clean air and water. The tech and service department have been amazing to communicate with.
Daniel Lopez: I've been contacted 3 times by this company in follow ups from a Home Depot drawing to win a gift card.Each time, 2 people call to verify info and let me know I'll be getting a socket set or a knife set and a guy will come out to check the water quality and deliver the gift.Then the 3rd call to me is a guy name Patrick. Patrick decides he doesn't want to come out and promises to reschedule and I never hear anything again. Well, today when Patrick called, he only let it ring once before hanging up. I immediately called back and left a voice mail.This behavior is unprofessional at best.WHILE typing this, I just got a call back from someone who said they had Patrick's phone and he's out this week. They wanted to reschedule. Talk about sticking to their script.I declined their gifts and told them if they have no intentions of coming out they don't need to bother contacting me.

Sold it at a loss and went to HOME DEPOT asked about their return policy on mowers and was told if it didn't work for me I could bring it back no problem. WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING EVER AGAIN FROM MENARDS. They do not stand behind the products they sell..

Checking the website/app is useless because half the stuff they say they have isn't on the shelf so you have to hunt down an employee to help you, and they tell you it's 'upstairs' and except you to know what that means (it's basically 'in the back' and they would have to go get it).
David Fraley: Do NOT buy anything that says SPECIAL ORDER! They will charge you a 25% restocking fee if you have to return it for any reason. LOWES and HOME DEPOT has never done that to me. I would give them zero stars if I could. And this after I spent over an hour completing the return process. Outrageous. Will not do business with them again!
