nikki smith: The blonde manager on duty was cussing out one of the co workers in one of the aisle in front of customers, extremely unprofessional. 10/10 would NOT recommend. This is also not the first time I’ve seen her do this.

He is the absolute worst!! Rude, and unprofessional! I've seen him be rude to many other people when I've been in there. Today I went in, he cashed me out, texting or playing on his phone, I use my card, its saying "processing" on my side..cause its waiting on the cashier, he is still on his phone not paying attention, I tell him the register is waiting on you, as he pushes the button on the register he lies and says "no it was waiting on you" I told him that no it wasn't, it said processing on my side, Then, still playing on his phone, he throws my receipt away. I get my bags and ask him, where is my receipt? He starts going thru the trash.. Then he goes on to say how busy he is cause he's running 3 stores, I told him it might help if he puts his phone down while cashing people out. He gets rude and tells me he's doing his job, I told him he's nothing but a rude person and I'll be sure to let the manager know, he follows me out the store yelling at me and tells me he is the manager, I turned around and asked for his name, which he refused at first and then told me Sean Lewis. This behavior is absolutely not acceptable!!! And I told him how unprofessional he was following customers out the store to yell at them. He has no business being a manager that's for sure!!

Starting a new job can be overwhelming but they'll get the hang of it. Make. It a positive thing. It's all about the way you choose to think. I love your store. It's organized well and you carry great products but please teach your employees manners.

The owner and his wife were very nice and help me find what I was looking for, gave me a recipe for the thing I bought & me up for rewards points. Which uses two bags anyway, and then they successfully get it in the one bag but it's too wide to hold with one hand so it defeats the purpose of the bag? Harter house Eastgate doesn't do that

Miguel Nunez: I went to the Harter house on East sunshine yesterday around 8 PM and I went to the meat department to buy some pork chops And smoke pork shank and they were three young men cleaning up the scales closing duties . One of them looked at me didn’t greed me nor asked me if I needed any help I didn’t say anything to see how long it will take them to realize that there were two people standing in front of them it was a good five minutes before I was helped . then one of them realized well if the other two are not helping you I guess it’s gonna be my job to help you. I was highly and extremely disappointed that you will have employees like them in your store that are more concerned about cleaning the scales and talking to each other about personal business then doing their job because they are on your company clock. I hope this will be addressed with all of the employees and it will improve your customer service but right now I don’t think I should give you more than one star.

Krissa Hosto: I usually don’t write these, but it was really nice. We were on a day trip, and we stopped in. They aren’t great with masking, but I don’t expect any place to be these days. However, the customer service was great. Both cash registers were friendly, and before us one helped a vet get some ice cream, and she complimented my hair. It was just a friendly environment.
Dean McCroskey: I stood at the meat counter for over ten minutes while they took care of people who walked up after me. When they asked who's next I said that would be me but still got no help . That was the Eastgate location, don't think they want business from construction workers. I recommend going somewhere else if you're in work clothes.

Kim Easley: The female employees are very helpful, the male employees are usually on the cell phone when no customers are at the register instead of stocking the shelves. The shelves are always nearly empty in the grocery department. I also find it offensive that the male employees are not wearing the male dress code. I live two blocks behind this store and drive several miles away to find the everyday groceries that I need.
J Reid: You demand I leave my purse up front but leave it just lying in the floor not locked up, you all allow shop lifting without pursuing. Had someone grabbed my purse sitting in the open with all my personal belongings would your cashier have jumped in to save the day? No. You want that policy? Okay, make every woman leave their purse regardless of size. Make sure you have a safe locked location to put it in. Also, how do I know your cashier isn't stealing my stuff? You have cashiers who nod off while ringing out my transactions and have for multiple visits. Drugged out employees but worried about me stealing the 5 dollar pack of toilet paper? Again policy or not. You want to protect your belongings. Protect the customers stuff you make them leave in order to spend money in your store.

Barbara Davis: Be very careful and watch when stuff is rang up. I was just ripped off and told when stuff is on sale is doesn't show up on the receipt. When in fact the Christmas stuff I bought was sold to me at full price. And not 50%off.
Victoria Lorraine Clark: Love this store. Ladies that work here are very nice! Some items are 1or 2 dollars higher than Walmart that’s down the road. Some items that are in the $1 section you can find elsewhere for under a dollar. Also do NOT buy the Halloween wigs!!!!!!! I know that they are cheap, only $8 but these are the most cheapest made wigs I have ever seen. Half of the wig has no hair, it’s just strips of hair. You can’t brush the wig because the hair falls off. It’s not even worth a dollar. I wouldn’t take it if they gave it to me for free. I wasn’t expecting much but this shouldn’t even be sold. It’s going back!
