That Lebanese Place: what do users think?
Brenden Poor: Ellie, the owner was unbelievably courteous and kind. If I lived in Springfield I'd come every day. My wife didn't particularly like a specific taste, and he remade a whole plate just for her. And he let me keep her extra plate! What a courteous fellow.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options.Parking: Limited parking if area is busy, but I had no problem fi ding parking.
Marvin Rhoden: Delicious food I'm a nice atmosphere, and the Chef / owner couldn't be nicer, awesome customer service
Hassan Zafar: Lebanese salad was amazing! Totally recommend it.
Brad Moore: We were in Springfield yesterday looking for a place to eat with good vegetarian/vegan options. We stumbled on this place and it was amazing. My partner and another friend had the beef/lamb shawarma and I had the falafel mushakal (falafel sandwich with baba ghanouj, fries, and veggies). The food was excellent and so was the price. Our server was charming and funny. The owner also came out to talk with us as we were finishing our meal. I can't wait to go back again.Vegetarian options: Several excellent vegetarian or vegan options that don't feel like an afterthought.
Joshua Berzins: That Lebanese Place has some of the best food in Springfield.
Amy Jernigan: Ate it all before I could take a photo but the Falafel and the Chicken Shwarma are absolutely delicious. My husband and I come here often and love it!The service can be a tad slow at times but the food is ALWAYS worth it.
Trey Trapani: Best food in a 500 mile radiusFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Vickie Moore: Recommended dishes Chicken Shawarma, KebabMore
Juicy Beans: Always very busy but the family that runs it works very hard to tend to everyone timely. I have never been disappointed with the food here!
Joshua Watkins: Very friendly staff, and the food is fantastic!!
Larisa Proctor: We have returned twice now and plan to make it our frequent place to eat. The family owners work very hard all night to keep up with customers, the food is plentiful and very tasty. Nice flavor difference from all 'regular' Springfield restaurants.
Delaney Adler: Best food in Springfield with the most welcoming environment. The family that runs this establishment creates incredible food and provides incredible service. The Dinner for 2 is a must!
Robertha Agimudie Paul: Let me start by saying the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The first thing I noticed was how dusty the dining room was. This place hasn't had a deep cleaning, dusting etc in a while. Even though the decor is older they can have the establishment looking cleaner. When I walked in I went to the booth to sit and the server said if there isn't a menu on the table then it needs cleaning. There was only ONE table clean.I love Arabic food and based on past places I've eaten I would rate the flavors here a 3.I had the platter for two which started with a pita bread and baba ganoush. The pita bread was served COLD and the server literally just pulled it out of a bag that was sitting at his counter. This was the pita you buy in the bread aisle at Wal-Mart. I had to ask him to warm it up and he told me he will microwave it.The babaganoush was also ice cold which tells me it came straight out the refrigerator.Next came the lentil soup. Very lightly flavored and watery but at least it was served warm although I would have preferred hot.We then received the falafel, stuffed grape leaves and tahini sauce. The falafel was nice and hot and crispy. The grape leaves he MICROWAVED and brought to us as I heard the ding of the microwave at the counter where my pita was warmed up and he walked over with the plate at the same time. The tahini sauce was watery thin and very lightly flavored for my taste.Up next was the entree which consisted of one plate of food for two to share.Rice, coleslaw, chopped tomatoes, chicken sharwma, beef, lamb and chicken kabob. The rice was " rice ", no flavor. The kabobs 3/5 flavor wise.We ended with coffee and baklava. The coffee had a lot of sediment at the bottom of the cup like thick molasses. The baklava was HARD AF! Barely any syrup to make it soft and edible. It was so hard my fork couldn't cut it, I had to pick it up and eat it like a cookie.Being that the food was OBVIOUSLY NOT FRESHLY MADE and most things were microwaved, God alone knows how many days or weeks these items have been sitting in the refrigerator. If I do return the two items I would order again would be the falafel and the lamb kabob.Parking: Street parking and you may not be able to find a spot.
Dallas Waterman (Slaughterman): This place SLAPS. Everything we had was authentic, fresh, and reasonably priced. It’s rare you get such a high quality meal from a family owned joint like this. The owner knew EXACTLY what wines paid with what meals. Rather if you want a quick cheapish lunch or an extravagant dinner, these guys got you.

Alicia Korenini: This place is a gem, and not just for Springfield. Truly authentic food and the friendliest owner and staff. The atmosphere is great, and the food is divine. We ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich, and the sampler with hummus, baba ganoush, sweet potatoes and falafel. We couldn’t stop eating even though we were full. We also ordered a chai tea and will be back tomorrow afternoon to order another before we leave town. Thank you for a delicious meal!!
Vanessa Valli: The best place to eat in Springfield, MO! We love Mediterranean food and this did not disappoint. The steak meat is the most tender we’ve ever had. It’s a cool stop, the way the seating is set up. Family owned and operated, very personable. Best experience possible.

Greek In the Box: what do users think?
Katherine Boyd: Love the Gyros here!!!! So delicious. Brought my daughter here months ago and she always asked to eat here!!! The food is amazing, the staff are so kind!!!!
Amanda Dhandapani: Used to love this place but they have gotten cheap with their serving for the high dollar amount you pay ...I ordered a Greek salad and there was barely a sprinkle of feta and no banana peppers what so ever...they also did not give a pepper like they usually do on the side ...never again very disappointed with it ...
Bryan Lewis: The guys there were sooo nice and accommodating! My son is allergic to meat and dairy products and the guys hooked him up!
Thomas Allen: Amazing food. I drive quite a ways once every few weeks for the food there. And they truly care about the service and quality of what they serve.
Mark Harsen: Ali and his co-workers provide some of the best gyros I've ever eaten from Canada to the US to the Middle East. I especially love the "Spanish Gyro" and when I ask, they make it extra spicy for me. This food makes my mouth water just thinking about it! And all the staff are very friendly and quite helpful. Who would have thought you could get such good food at a mall food court?! Do yourself a favor, try something different, and have a gyro at Greek in the Box.Parking: Parking right out front.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped parking is just west of the entrance with automatic doors into the food court.
Andrew Vandonselaar: Had gyro and fries wife had gyro and salad.Food was delicious! We will be back!Baklava was good too.
Misty “Doc” Mask: Falafel was great 👍
Chase Lyons: First off, I’m from St. Louis and am an avid Greek food enthusiast. That being said, I’ve had numerous Gyro’s from all over St. Louis. When I say I was beyond impressed by a Greek restaurant in a mall I mean it! The meat was fresh, moist and flavorful, the pita was light, fluffy and the perfect temperature, there was a perfect sauce and veggie mixture. 10/10 will be back! Especially at the price point, can’t beat $10.99 for a big Gryo, fries and a huge drink.
R. Mahan: We stopped by the mall specifically to try this place, and we wasn't disappointed. Prices were decent and the portions were generous. Tasty food & friendly staff!! We'll definitely go back.Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes …More
Mrz Dockwalker (K-10): Awesome gyros! Huge portions, refills on soda, super nice people!! Definitely recommend.
Faez Shaikh: Was trying to find a halal place on a road trip. Worked out great!
Gharrett Kohl: Food is terrible compared to other Greek places. Service was great though.
LiL StormBlade: It was yummy love gyros
richard lewis: Best Greek food in town. Everything is fresh and delicious.
shannon B: This was by far the best gyro I've had since being in Springfield!!!!!!
Bailey Redd: I absolutely love this place! The food is so delicious and fresh tasting! If you have never tried this place you need to. Yum!!
Shawn Jackson: Food is always excellent and the staff is always very friendly. It’s my favorite place to eat at the mall.
Natalie Dovgan: Great cheese burger! Halal as well 👍🏻
Justin Earnest: Outstanding Greek food. I always get the grape leaves.
Shaella Allen: The guys who run this place are so sweet and the food is always fresh!! I love eating here every time I go to the mall!!
Ron “The Traveler”: Would be 5 stars but the gyro sauce was watered down. The gyro meat was great but small portion. But yes I would recommend them.

Pita Pit: what do users think?
Dave Robertson: Unfortunate how far this place has fallen in Springfield. Half the time they are missing ingredients so the full menu isn't in play. The staff when we were there were too busy vaping in the back to come fix our food.Used to be our favorite healthy place for a sandwich alternative. Heartbreaking that it's so disappointing now.
Nombre Apellido: Very fast friendly and HEALTHY
Izaac Morgan: Walked in at 11:10 and watched the not so happy guy working, turn the skillet on as I was looking at the menu. To which he turned to me and said "it's gonna be a while, we just opened" in a flat rude tone. Maybe get there a little earlier to get your prep done so you can serve people when you open??? Kinda like every other food establishment ever.. Also was about 10% of the chips stocked on the rack, it just seemed like he didn't care about customer service... I left immediately.
Jacob Clements: Amazing place. Always love to come here.
Rohin J: This place was really really good! The service offered was even better that made the food taste amazing! They were really patient when we were place our order and the quantity you get was amazing. This is like chipotle overloaded but a lot better and cleaner.Highly recommend going here.
Robert “Bob” Ebert: Great food!Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Small Super Greek Pita …More
Justin Y.: Terrible service, Very rude owner. very VERY unsanitary, I've seen roaches there. Closes at random times.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Lacy Ballinger: Not open at 1015am then someone was on the phone talking and not ready for us. We left but do understand it's hard to find help.
Richard Callahan: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes FalafelMore
Corey Bright: My 3rd time coming and each time welcomed with friendly service, great food (as, it's fully loaded each time), and wonderful seating atmosphere. They always cater to my diet requests and I'm happy to say I'll be returning once again. Philly Salad is my fav!
Gabriel Jacob Wilson: 1st time here and I was very impressed with the quality of not only the food, but the customer service. There were 2 individuals that were hustling to keep up with a families large order (with one of them being quite picky in my opinion) and they didn't skip a beat. They greeted me as soon as I walked in, they answered questions, and they made a quality wrap!
Shawn Jackson: I placed an online order for 3 pitas and after I paid I was informed they were out of the large Pitas. I decided to just get a small one, but they refused to refund me the difference. I won’t be returning.
Talayna Rickert: Would give a 0 if it was possible. They close the grill down 25 minutes prior to close. We showed up 20 min prior to close to order take out. They were cooking food for themselves on the grill and told us that the grill was shut down, to come back tomorrow. What a joke!
Tim Bosovik: The Vegetables looked like they were out for 4 days, all soggy, even some had mold and so dried out. The manager tried convincing me that that's how it always looks with their produce I hope the new owners see this Review and do a change this place used to be awesome now I was so disgusted I couldn't even eat itFood: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Abbie Hunter: Closed 5 mins early even when we called 10 mins before closing to try to pre order food and told them we were on our way.
Mark Masson: They are temporally closed.
Arshdeep Singh: No clue if they are going to be open or closed happend with me 4 time wevsite says open and but when go there its closed complete waste of time
Gary Hassani: Used to be a good place. Now your greeted with indifference by bored teenagers that seems annoyed that you are interrupting them.
Shannon Larson: Good food, but staffing seems to be a toss up. No clue from one day to the next if the place will be open or closed due to lack of staff. Was waiting to order today when they abruptly closed citing 'technical issues'
Howard Heimann: Pita on Sunshine is awesome. Hit em on Wed or Sun. Double eat for .99 Love these Pitas!!
Lenora Slavens: Friendly staff , great food clean lobby

Chris Sweet: Short staffed, but great customer service, conversation, and very friendly.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Ledzep Fan88: Omg the pita I had was so juicy, they were nice enough to bring us some tomato when they forgot to put it on moms BLT (oops) lol it's not a BLT without the tomato but error fixed they brought us fresh diced tomato and I tried some on mine and even made my super Greek pita better. Very friendly staff. Also the "small" pita is more than enough food, the large would be if you wanna bring home leftovers lol
Debbie Dunn: Waited around for guy, who clearly hates his job, to get off the phone to take my order. Then, they were out of 1/2 of what I wanted. I came in having a great day and left feeling unwelcome and frustrated…not worth it.
jennifer weiner: I got the classic gyro from the E Battlefield location and it was really good. Would probably ask for more sauce next time but I'm not complaining. The size of the pita is huge!
Brandy Carlson: Had the wrong vegetables on it that wasn’t ordered and some that were missing. I actually threw it away because it had so many things wrong with it I wouldn’t have been able to pick out every item that was on there that shouldn’t have been there. Then they left off part of what was suppose to be on it. Haven’t had this in a few years and was excited to have again. Won’t be eating here again.Dietary restrictions: Not allowewed to eat certain things do to stomach issues.
Eileen Bailey: Like the Greek version of subway/tropical smoothie. This place has a great variety of fresh ingredients and sauces that you use to customize your pita sandwich. Fair price and definitely his the spot.
Jaden Bailey: This place has great fresh food and good service. It is reasonably priced and clean as well. 10/10 would recommend.
Anthony Valenzuela: Perfect for late breakfast, lunch or dinner. Open from 10:30AM-8:00PM. A healthy alternative for your day. The buffalo chicken and philly are two of my personal favorites. Definitely recommend to anyone who hasn't been before!Parking: Plenty of parking available.
Monique Burt: Great 👍
cmser12 12: The rice and quinoa bowl was better than the pita. Very good service, fresh food.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Classic Platter, Baja Chicken Bacon Ranch …More
Britni Turner: This used to be my favorite restaurant. I would eat here at least 2 times a week. Now they have inconsistent hours and the past couple times I have tried to eat here they were closed in the middle of the day.The staff lately are barely trained and I get a messy pita. The rewards scanner hasn't been working so I'm not even building up points anymore. Today was my last visit.
Judy Cantrell: Had lunch with my granddaughter and the Food was delicious. Great atmosphere and reasonably priced!!! Definitely recommend this place!!!
Granadina: I went to Pita Pit today on E Sunshine St for the first time. I ordered a souvlaki sandwich and some kind of quinoa salad (I don’t remember the exact name of the salad. I chose it from the menu.) The total was around $21, plus a $2 tip. The sandwich was mediocre, but the quinoa salad was beyond embarrassing. There were barely two bites in there. LITERALLY! They put in a few spinach leaves and some diced tomatoes, no quinoa, no nothing. It cost me $10! This is beyond impertinent! Is this how you treat your customers?! You give them bread crumbs for $10?! I’ve posted a picture of it below. I wouldn’t feed this to my dog. I’m never going back to that place again. An absolute disgrace. A ripoff.
Ralphie Saeed: Store was empty when we arrived. Order taking was easy and simple food was served in a timely manner. Men's room repairs in place since last visit, removal of coke multi flavor machine since last visit, removal of community board. No allergy information laminate present on glass as in previous visit. Store appeared clean and stocked.
Hippo: I use to love this place. I would even go when the stingy owner was working and he would essentially count out the number of veggies put on the pita. It was worth it because it was good and usually quick. Now with their lack of consistent hours and closing early while customers are in line, I don’t expect to go back. Good food though when they are open.
