That Lebanese Place: what do users think?
Brenden Poor: Ellie, the owner was unbelievably courteous and kind. If I lived in Springfield I'd come every day. My wife didn't particularly like a specific taste, and he remade a whole plate just for her. And he let me keep her extra plate! What a courteous fellow.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options.Parking: Limited parking if area is busy, but I had no problem fi ding parking.
Marvin Rhoden: Delicious food I'm a nice atmosphere, and the Chef / owner couldn't be nicer, awesome customer service
Hassan Zafar: Lebanese salad was amazing! Totally recommend it.
Brad Moore: We were in Springfield yesterday looking for a place to eat with good vegetarian/vegan options. We stumbled on this place and it was amazing. My partner and another friend had the beef/lamb shawarma and I had the falafel mushakal (falafel sandwich with baba ghanouj, fries, and veggies). The food was excellent and so was the price. Our server was charming and funny. The owner also came out to talk with us as we were finishing our meal. I can't wait to go back again.Vegetarian options: Several excellent vegetarian or vegan options that don't feel like an afterthought.
Joshua Berzins: That Lebanese Place has some of the best food in Springfield.
Amy Jernigan: Ate it all before I could take a photo but the Falafel and the Chicken Shwarma are absolutely delicious. My husband and I come here often and love it!The service can be a tad slow at times but the food is ALWAYS worth it.
Trey Trapani: Best food in a 500 mile radiusFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Vickie Moore: Recommended dishes Chicken Shawarma, KebabMore
Juicy Beans: Always very busy but the family that runs it works very hard to tend to everyone timely. I have never been disappointed with the food here!
Joshua Watkins: Very friendly staff, and the food is fantastic!!
Larisa Proctor: We have returned twice now and plan to make it our frequent place to eat. The family owners work very hard all night to keep up with customers, the food is plentiful and very tasty. Nice flavor difference from all 'regular' Springfield restaurants.
Delaney Adler: Best food in Springfield with the most welcoming environment. The family that runs this establishment creates incredible food and provides incredible service. The Dinner for 2 is a must!
Robertha Agimudie Paul: Let me start by saying the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The first thing I noticed was how dusty the dining room was. This place hasn't had a deep cleaning, dusting etc in a while. Even though the decor is older they can have the establishment looking cleaner. When I walked in I went to the booth to sit and the server said if there isn't a menu on the table then it needs cleaning. There was only ONE table clean.I love Arabic food and based on past places I've eaten I would rate the flavors here a 3.I had the platter for two which started with a pita bread and baba ganoush. The pita bread was served COLD and the server literally just pulled it out of a bag that was sitting at his counter. This was the pita you buy in the bread aisle at Wal-Mart. I had to ask him to warm it up and he told me he will microwave it.The babaganoush was also ice cold which tells me it came straight out the refrigerator.Next came the lentil soup. Very lightly flavored and watery but at least it was served warm although I would have preferred hot.We then received the falafel, stuffed grape leaves and tahini sauce. The falafel was nice and hot and crispy. The grape leaves he MICROWAVED and brought to us as I heard the ding of the microwave at the counter where my pita was warmed up and he walked over with the plate at the same time. The tahini sauce was watery thin and very lightly flavored for my taste.Up next was the entree which consisted of one plate of food for two to share.Rice, coleslaw, chopped tomatoes, chicken sharwma, beef, lamb and chicken kabob. The rice was " rice ", no flavor. The kabobs 3/5 flavor wise.We ended with coffee and baklava. The coffee had a lot of sediment at the bottom of the cup like thick molasses. The baklava was HARD AF! Barely any syrup to make it soft and edible. It was so hard my fork couldn't cut it, I had to pick it up and eat it like a cookie.Being that the food was OBVIOUSLY NOT FRESHLY MADE and most things were microwaved, God alone knows how many days or weeks these items have been sitting in the refrigerator. If I do return the two items I would order again would be the falafel and the lamb kabob.Parking: Street parking and you may not be able to find a spot.
Dallas Waterman (Slaughterman): This place SLAPS. Everything we had was authentic, fresh, and reasonably priced. It’s rare you get such a high quality meal from a family owned joint like this. The owner knew EXACTLY what wines paid with what meals. Rather if you want a quick cheapish lunch or an extravagant dinner, these guys got you.

Alicia Korenini: This place is a gem, and not just for Springfield. Truly authentic food and the friendliest owner and staff. The atmosphere is great, and the food is divine. We ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich, and the sampler with hummus, baba ganoush, sweet potatoes and falafel. We couldn’t stop eating even though we were full. We also ordered a chai tea and will be back tomorrow afternoon to order another before we leave town. Thank you for a delicious meal!!
Vanessa Valli: The best place to eat in Springfield, MO! We love Mediterranean food and this did not disappoint. The steak meat is the most tender we’ve ever had. It’s a cool stop, the way the seating is set up. Family owned and operated, very personable. Best experience possible.
Mary Williams: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Numan Rauf: I Ordered chicken Sharma and beef kabab platter. I am veryDisappointed and just wasting money on it Sharma has no chicken in it and the platter kabab to small in size or cold I hate it and never want to see it again?Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
