Breast Care Clinic: what do users think?
Madelyn McGarrah: My entire experience at the CoxHealth Breast Clinic was amazing. From imaging to surgery, everyone took the time to explain procedures and what exactly was going on with the lumps in my breast. The process was streamlined and efficient while still being compassionate and understanding. I would recommend this clinic to anyone!
Ginger Beauchemin: Our dr retired so we were left will pa at health 248 they have dr Tripp every month ot takes 4 days to get meds my mother is 86 can't get her meds filed 4 days I would not go to that dr we are looking for new dr this dr salmon patent now we have no one
Christina McFarland: Awesome treatment and streamlined service every time I have been there.
Brandi Lanier: Everyone was so nice. I was in and out in less than an hour.
wendy: Normally I would give a 5 star rating, but not today. I arrived for my mammogram appointment, only to be told that I needed to wait 6 weeks after my last COVID vaccine or booster before I had my mammogram. Was never made aware of this. Upon entering the building, a sign said a face mask was reguired, which I had no problem with. The lady at check in was wearing a mask, yet 3 out of the 4 females at the actual patient check in had their mask below their chins. What is the point of requiring people to wear a mask, when Cox employees are not wearing theirs properly !?!?
Angie Rieschel: The ladies at this clinic are so very nice.
Monica Holcomb: Normally I would rave about the Cox health Care system but today I am very disappointed in the to level of caring and compassion that was shown at the Breast Care Clinic. My mom was called in for a second mammogram and ultrasound after they found a mass on her first mammogram. She was scared and wanted a family member there as she was facing a very real threat to her health and well being. (The big C). I rearranged my schedule to be with her to reassure her that we are in this together and she is loved and cared for no matter what. When the time came for her to go in for the tests they refused to let her have anyone with her for support and made her sit all alone in a room for hours with no answer and no one there to comfort her as the minutes ticked by and time seemed to drag forever. I understand there rules for routine exams and all but when faced with a life threatening illness their lack of compassion and understanding for the need of positive support is appalling and more detrimental to the patient then then inconvenience of having a single family member there to help the patient through this very scary and stressful time.
connie Earls: The Breast Center is run very professionally and I have never had any experience that is less that first class. Doctors and staff are always polite and very accommodating. WWigs
Gayle Wallace: Sorely lacking in empathy or understanding. I have a movement disorder..I cant hold my head still. The person taking pix did not care. She just kept saying if the Dr cant read the film they'll keep sending you back. While I understand that I can only do what I can do.
Amy Silva: I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my experience here. The women were all kind, caring and compassionate!! The negative reviews mostly a reflection of outside circumstances, and not of the clinic itself. They were more than accommodating for me, even when I had to reschedule after being exposed to Covid, and having to quarantine. After arriving I was seen within 5 minutes to get signed in, and another 5-10 minutes to be taken back to change into a gown. I was told to expect to be there 3 hours, but they got me in and out much quicker. They have a great system going :DThere were lockers available where you can lock your belongings, private changing rooms, and a bathroom available right off of the waiting room.Every single person I encountered at the Breast Care clinic was beyond kind, and helpful, recommend 100% over the other option in town.Once I begin my yearly screenings, I will choose Cox Breast Care Clinic, every time!
Margaret Yslas: Wasnt able to keep my appointment that I made in July because there was no handicap parking . I circled the parking structure for 30 minutes
Della Stewart: Always been very caring and professional
Lu: Polite staff. Less than 5 minutes wait time
Julie C: I have always been treated with care and dignity by everyone associated with the Breast Care Clinic. Results are conveyed to my doctor within a couple of days. I can't believe the jerks on here who would give a 1-star review to a clinic because their own insurance or physisians screwed up or because they had to reschedule and couldn't get in instantly! They obviously have ZERO understanding of how a medical clinic operates. The Breast Care Clinic can be trusted to give the highest possible care.
carri eisenhauer: Super disappointed after repeatedly calling for nearly a year for a doctor to call my insurance to request a procedure and no one will call. abnormalities in my breast my grandmother had breast cancer still no doctor will call my insurance.
Marianne Donohue: I am so disappointed that this clinic would not work with my schedule. I scheduled my mammogram more than two months out. When I called back to get a later appointment on the same day, they would not change the appointment. Real life really does happen to people. Wonder why women go without having mammograms?
Mark Solomon: I have to say I am rather disappointed in the way this clinic operated. I am sure the care that was provided was fine but the way it was delivered was poor. The thing I am most disappointed with is the way results were communicated. I wanted to be supportive of my wife and be there for her whether the news was positive or negative. The clinic did not allow for opposite sex spouses to be present when results were being delivered. It is pretty hard to be supportive when you are not allowed to be in the consultation and to hear the results. Even when my wife asked the staff for me to be there, she was denied this request. I could not have been more disappointed nor felt less supportive. I guess you would have preferred I just went to work? I hope you will reevaluate your workflow and process to include supportive husbands in the future. Very disappointed.

Mercy Breast Center - Chub O'Reilly Cancer Center: what do users think?
Twyla McInturff: I would never recommend this breast cancer center to anyone. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 13 years ago after I found a lump.. After the ultrasound, the doctor came in and from the discussion that went on with that doctor, I learned that she had known it was there for a while but did nothing until I could feel it myself. She was one of the most uncaring, unprofessional doctors I have ever dealt with. I left and went somewhere else for treatment. I have since heard of others that have had similar experiences.
Holly Butler: I have had a wonderful experience with the staff at the breast cancer center. I had to have some procedures done here and all of the staff did everything to calm me down. My radiologist was the best and really was amazing throughout my experience along with the ultrasound tech. You ladies are amazing! Thank you for helping me get through it all so far!!
Jenny Stone: I am absolutely humbled by the wonderful women who work at the Mercy Breast Center. I was treated with the utmost respect, courtesy, kindness and care. Every single person I encountered, from the ladies at the registration area to the mammogram technicians, the nurses, the schedulers, the ultrasound techs, the surgical nurses and the doctors, they were all absolutely amazing. They were patient, thorough, understanding and warm. I had some issues/concerns and had to go several times for more testing, etc. - each time everyone was amazing. I thank God I received news that nothing was wrong but had my results gone a different way, I know in my heart that I would have received the best possible care from the team at Mercy.God bless all the wonderful women who took such good care of me. Your kindness and professionalism is astounding. Keep up the good work. You absolutely make a difference in people’s lives - probably when they need it the most. Thank you so much. See you next year! ❤️
Brenda Alsup: Always nice people to deal with in
Woodpecker Peckswood: I'm giving a review simply based on initial phone call to schedule a mammogram. They are 5 months out!! half a year to wait for my annual exam. I've lived all over the US and had a few mammos. this is by far the longest wait I've experienced. I just read reviews of others with mammo issues. ugh... ill update once my appointment is over.
Sacha Boals: I mean, they are wonderful here. Just the reason for visiting the center is usually not a happy reason.
Rhonda Hardcastle: Visited for my annual appointment. Didn't have to wait long. People were friendly and it was clean. Had to wear a mask.
Pat Clutter: Most of the staff with the doctors are nice - Everyone has been helpful but every time I take my family member to receive her infusion - and it seems to take the better portion of the day - once she goes back to get it, I am left in the waiting room and think - Boy I need a drink and a small snack while I am waiting. Here are pictures of the vending machine - which makes zero sense since most of it is sandwiches that need to be heated up and no microwave - And the soda machine has only caffeinated Pepsi products and one sprite which seems to always be out!!! Once we get here we are tired - and there is a big wait ahead of us. I have talked to the staff a couple of times but they care not. I got the name of the director but cannot find a way to contact her - I am appreciative of the help with the cancer - but the help with the family members leaves something to be desired. See pictures. This is how these machines look every time. This won't let me upload my photos apparentl. Please go down and look at the vending area in the infusion center. This is what I am talking about.
Shevelle Lumley: 4th day in a row of leaving a voicemail, to have a breast biopsy scheduled, and no call back 👎👎
Thomas Dobis: I am not impressed with this place. Several spots, months of waiting and now an MRI and still no help getting appts.Go elsewhere.
Kelly Myrick: They will not answer the phone to schedule a follow-up mammogram.
Dobber Malchi: Keep Doing 90 day blood draws disappointment in can't keep an oncologist full time its retired oncologist or visiting oncologist in 4 years I never saw the same Dr more than twice
Erin Kramer: I wish i could leave no stars. Scheduling is pathetic. Staff doesn't seem to be very responsive. I've left 4 voicemails trying to schedule for a follow up on an abnormal mammogram. I did receive one voicemail that made absolute no sense, you could defiantly tell the staffer did not listen to the need and just left a generic answer that was extremely unhelpful and even more irritating. This can be a very scary time for women and Mercy Breast Center should demonstrate a quicker response time and go above and beyond handling these situations.
Christine Mitchell: Terrible customer service. Very difficult to schedule. I had an abnormal mammogram and it took them three days after the mammogram was resulted to call back. I would not recommend.
Linda Baucom: How can I make a statement I can't even make an appointment where is the schedule page can't call, do it online or call your Dr then the Dr said go online cause they can't find it either!!!! No mammogram this year tired of looking!.
Marge Murphy: Been going here for many years and they always treat me with respect and kindness!!
Cyndi Berry: PatheticI can’t schedule by phone!Ridiculous!!!
Pam Hargrave: Love having mammograms done here, have been a patient here for probably 20yrs, staff is kind and helpful. But, the scheduling is a completenightmare, especially if you are not seeing a doctor within their system. So much pressure to get procedure done, but so much red tape!! Crazy! The scheduling is the reason for the rating.
Sara: Folks were kind and helpful. Scheduling was done quickly and effectively. Films were transferred and received fast. I will report the rest when done.
Valerie Speer: Will never go back! My appointment was on April 18, 2017 at 4 pm. I paid for my mammogram that day. The doctor read my x-rays on the 19th and I received a bill dated the 20th on the 27th for this service ($70.40). However, my bill was sent to a collection agency on April 21, 2017. Very incompetent!!!
PJ B.: Clinical, straightforward, professional. Not offering "feels like a spa" service (no music, chocolates, & fuzzy robes). Staff are polite and efficient. Questions are answered politely with as much info as allowed

Midwest Imaging/MRI of Springfield: what do users think?
Cherie Carpenter: The experience here was excellent! The entire staff was great. I am very closterphobec but Jennifer The mri tech was wonderful ❤️!! Highly recommend Midwest Imaging
Randy Jay: Clean and comfortable environment 😌 👌 and the staff was very nice.
Nancy Morris: Fast, friendly and affordable service!
Matthew Charles: After researching different options I called MRI of Springfield and spoke with one of the office girls, (I’ll leave her out of this) she was pleasant, I explained I did not have insurance, she provided me with pricing, very reasonable. Subsequent to that, I purchased a short term UHC policy, called back, provided her with my policy information and was quoted a lessor price, my co pay. I asked if that was the total price I would pay and she reassured me it was because she had obtained a pre-authorization - and that it was all approved.I scheduled an appointment, went thru the process, and a few weeks later received a bill for an additional $400+ dollars!I called back, spoke with the lady in the office, she remembered me, and agreed that this must be a mistake. I was forwarded to another department and after a few calls and emails later I’m now stuck with this bill and have been offered a payment plan. It’s a shame that MRI of Springfield will not at least except part responsibility in this case. I look forward to someone reaching out helping me resolve this!
Irene Bessette: Everything about this place was awesome from the time I stepped in the door. I wish I knew the name of the technician who did my MRI because she was so kind and considerate to make sure I was comfortable...there are no words but thank you.
Michelle H: The people at MRI of Springfield are so professional and kind. Thank you to Jennifer and Kristy. I am so thankful MRI of Springfield exists! With insurance it was going to cost me $1500 out of pocket at my local hospital. With MRI of Springfield it cost me $395 out of pocket. Thank you!!!
Lea Koogler: If I could refer anyone and everyone needing imaging done to this place I would. From the call to schedule my appointment to the scan itself the patient care was top notch. Professional, clean, and above all caring! Greeted with a smile and left with a hug. Having an MRI is typically a high tension exam for most including myself but this place made me feel like I was their only patient. Results to my ordering physician were also sent over promptly!Thank you to all. Especially my tech that day.
rp rop: Advertising clearly says call for pricing but receptionist was rude and refuse to give me any kind of pricing. She even said the only pricing she could tell me was the cash price. I said ok what is that she yell at me and said she couldn't tell me that either without a doctor's referral. After reading more reviews I'm glad I didn't chose this place!
Rae Miller: What a SCAM!1.5T is marketed on their brochure and entrance as the strength of the machine, but 0.3T is the actual strength of their old open MRI machine (It is an AIRIS II. Feel free to look up how old they are and the average age of an MRI machine). And CONVENIENTLY they lead you to the 0.3T machine without telling you even when “not claustrophobic” is clearly said on the customer’s paperwork. We thought we paid for a 1.5T scan until we found that out. They have a copy of the radiologist’s report, but they don’t tell you that even they know the doctor has trouble getting their fax, so they just watch you waiting for the result for two weeks without knowing of the option that you can pick it up from them.
Lisa Stayton: Great place! Got me in on the day we called to schedule the MRI, very friendly technician! Wait was a little long, but I can't complain since it was a late-in-the-day appointment. The gentleman who we spoke with on the phone was VERY nice, friendly, and helpful.
Christie Wagoner: I had two procedures here this week. Let me tell you, Jennifer and Jessica are amazing!! They were very patient even when my pain level got really high! I highly recommend MRI of Springfield!
Evan & Michele Palmer: Great! Cory at the front desk is one of the nicest people in the medical field that I have dealt with. He called and explained everything to me and was super upbeat and just as kind in person. Jennifer who performed my scan was A+ also!! Great experience, not to mention I saved over $1,000 on same scan if I would of went to Cox or Mercy! Highly recommend!
Tony s: Unhelpful and upright rude. Scammed us out of $500. Wouldn't recommend this place
Terri: Very friendly staff. They were great with my fearful child.
trishia strange: This place is amazing... I had an MRI done yesterday and originally I wanted to do it in the open MRI but due to my hearing implant I was unable to use the open MRI so I was scheduled for the regular one. I have extremely bad claustrophobia and when I first went into the two by started to have a panic attack even though I had taken medication to help. I was ready to give up but they hope me through it talking me through the whole thing and I was able to get the procedure done. There aren't enough words to display my gratitude to these two individuals I cannot remember their names I'm pretty sure the females name was Jennifer.
Brandon Dye: Family member needed to get in quickly for an MRI. MRI of Springfield was efficient in getting it scheduled for the next day. Ruby was especially helpful. Prices were much lower than that the hospitals. Professional staff, clean facilities, test performed efficiently and sent home with the film on a CD the same day.
VaNessa Loftis: MRI of Springfield has some of the most competitive imaging prices and the most helpful, friendly staff I have ever worked with. Ruby and Cory go above and beyond to help me get my patients scheduled in a timely manner and make the referral process as pain free as possible. Patients always come back with reports of having a good experience with kind and respectful staff. We highly recommend them and will ourselves continue to partner with them for our imaging needs.
William Gilmore: The staff at MRI of Springfield were professional and couteous. They got me right in and walked me through the process. Definitely recommend to anyone needing imaging.
jennifer Bunting: They have been so nice and very helpful for me! I struggled with issues related to my Dr (not with their office) and the girls up there were so helpful in ensuring I was receiving the proper treatment and all the documentation I needed!
Crystalyn Whitcomb: Everyone was super friendly to my 9 year old who has high anxiety. The lady explained the process and would buzz in counting the number of noises so he knew after 8 he was done.
Chris Patrick: Everyone that works here is absolutely amazing!! I’ve been coming here for years and always have the best experience. They always get me right in quickly and am treated with respect and kindness. The price is extremely great especially for the quality of service and abundance of help when I’m in need. Thank you ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Chris Patrick

Mercy Hospital Springfield: what do users think?
Larry Colwell: Transported there from Joplin with torn spleen and broken ribs. They put me in a room w elderly man with dementia who was disoriented and loud vocallly to the point of keeping me awake. After some time at 2:20 I requested a new room. After several complaints I was moved at at 9:20. Between 2:20 and 9:30 NONE of my meds were issued
Tra Jones: I was kidnapped, tortured, and drugged, by Michael Tipsord, Mercy Hospital, and criminals paid by Michael Tipsord for a month and a week in a building rented by Michael Tipsord. Mercy hospital has refused to help me and because of it I have been tortured without my adhd & anxiety medicine for years. Ever since I stopped receiving care at Mercy Crestwood in St. Louis my experience with Mercy has almost cost me my life. All of it was recorded and Mercy allowed Michael Tipsord to put hidden cameras in the doctors offices so he could watch my appointments. They also gave him access to the hospitals cameras.
Sydney Routh: Dismisses patients without listening as to why they are being seen, rude nurses, bad staff and bad attitudes. Will never be a Mercy patient ever again. This whole hospital and its clinics are lawsuits in the making. Don’t waste your time, especially if you’re disabled like me. Absolutely horrendous treatment by staff/nurses. Doctors are rude too. Definitely a big no.
Brenda Wilcox: ER waiting room is terrible!! My 80 yr old step dad has been in the waiting room for over 24 hours now because they say they have no rooms available, according to one of the staff the reason no rooms are available is because they don’t have enough staff. One of the nurses was even passing out a pamphlet and telling people to call that number and complain because they are sick of being short staffed too. My step dad was sent by his VA Dr after seeing his results of an EKG, Dr said go straight to ER. I guess Mercy doesn’t think their patients are really sick or don’t care about how long they have to wait as long as they save money by not having enough staff… It’s a sad world when health of a person isn’t priority in a hospital.Edited to add someone did reach out to me, but only asked if they could have the patients number to speak with them, which I did give but they never called them. I think their comment on review was just for show. The sisters would be ashamed of this place now.
Leslie Hardy (Shorty): This place is deplorable. Waited seven hours before even getting into a room then another hour before being seen. The hospital was absolutely disgusting as far as cleanliness. The smell, mixed with the stained carpets and blood splatters and grime on the floor was enough to make my stomach turn. I felt terrible for the kids that were working there it was so understaffed and no one seemed to know what they were doing. I will never ever ever return here and I don't recommend anybody else take their loved ones here either.
Garett Gutierrez: Worst ER experience of my life this is the 3rd time I have had to go to Mercy ER and every time has been worse then the last..Wait times are extremely long, the staff are clueless .. I have waited to make a comment in hopes I just had some bad luck but it the hospital.. I would say borderline malpractice having wait times in excess of 12 hours ...
Bob Miller: Mercy thanks for everything. I have been suffering leg and foot pain for ten and a 4 hour procedure today and I'm now pain free.Thank you and a job well done.
Heather Ruble: I'm not a fan anymore I used to only go there but it's lost so much in humanity and kindness however with that being said I took my grandson there lastnight he's 3 months old and we got the best dr in that place and we just adore her she is very kind genuine and puts patient first very attentive I could go on and on thank you dr Sampson for being you you've seen both my grandsons and for a yr now you've been the same fun loving caring dr who is just awesome we adore you
Myron L. “Mr. T” Boyd: Love it and they take very good care of myself
Lisa Mosher: Mercy has the worst ER. It is very poorly ran. And if you need an ER try Cox they may be better ran I had had been living in the bathroom for several days. I called my Dr. The said go to urgent care. Urgent care said cause I was so weak go to the ER. ER is so broken. You don't care how bad someone is you leave them sitting out there for more then 12 hours. You have diabetic people coming in who can be sitting there like that. My daughter lives in WV. There are two hospital close by. If they are busy they will tell people to go to urgent care. It helps free up the ER you just tell people you don't no how long it will be so they can make a decision. .people need to have some choice in there health care and you don't give them tose choices. There are a lot of people waisting the ER time who could go to urgent care.have you though about putting an urgent care in the hospital that would be open 24hours I will never go to mercy ER again. I can't have my time waist sitting there when I could better spend it in my Owen bed dying
Kristen O'Hara: *****Please note the abundance of negative reviews below. I got tired of scrolling and liking them, there are so many. Also, note the pat PR response. It is a public CYA. They do nothing to help you. The client concern hotline is a young girl trained to repeat answers word for word. One review is correct. There ARE good people in the system. I was privileged to talk to a few. They are the exception in a weak and incompetent overall system. Perhaps this place can handle “urgent care” matters??? Common cold, splinters, uncomplicated cases like strep, easily cured with a simple test and an antibiotic. I wouldn’t recommend seeking support for anything more severe.*Completely agree with the “if I could give it a zero” review. I am a mental health counselor. My mother was in the middle of a psychotic episode with violent behaviors and dangerous accusations. Dr. Recommended no release. However a charge nurse on duty, in the middle of a 96 hour involuntary hold due to mental unwellness, physical assault and threats of violence, decided she was safe to release. AMA. Of course, since it is big business health industry, I am getting a complete run around. And they can claim Hippa privacy since my mother now hates me for checking her in and would NEVER sign a release. I was rudely hung up on, transferred to endless dead end PC PR, and have no answers as the who released my mother and why. It is blatant negligence. Do NOT count on this hospital as a resource for mental health support. They are either uneducated, under resourced, or they just don’t care. But don’t worry. They have “the system” behind them, so I will just suffer their ineptness with no actions, because I am just “one annoying voice” to disregard and silence.
Jamie Holford: I told the staff at mercy I have a guardian, they told me I had to wear these green scrubs. They also took my belongings I took to keep me busy away, even all my clothing. I felt I was treated like a psyche patient. I will not be going there again.
Nancy Ketron: As of today, May 17, 2023 I STILL HAVE HAD NO ONE CONTACT ME FROM THE HOSPITAL! After my review below my mother had a heart attack, blood clots in both lungs and one leg! I bet this could have been avoided if she had seen a do for an December!!!Went to Mercy ER with my mom (a stroke patient) by ambulance yesterday. Waited over 11 hours, never saw a Dr., never got any tests results and we left because we get tired of being lied to. The nuns are crying about how terrible and money grubbing this hospital has become. 😰😰😰Was contacted by Mercy that they would contact me as of today January 26 - NO CONTACT!!!!
Laura Jane DeHart: Mercy ER was a terrible experience. I have always had such high standards for Mercy. That is not the case with the ER department at this time. I am not saying it is their fault, from what I understand the hospital side does not discharge on the weekends which makes the ER department backup on Saturday and Sunday. Please have whoever is running the place put a small team together so that there can be discharges at ALL times and hopefully things will run faster and smoother for the patients and the staff.
Susie Shippy: Honestly as sick as I was I feel it was about the best they could give me.
Belynda Scott: My son Chris was in there for 6 weeks and lost a leg. He got shotty care and at a little over 7 weeks he passed away because of discontinued IV medicines. I won't ever use Mercy again
BD Skeleton: Almost unbelievable how bad it was I am basically traumatized from it my experience was bad 😞Too bad they don't know how to do their job not a safe environment!! 😔
Burst Out Beys: Yes we are never coming back to this hospital the simple fact is they play games they are very evil they don't care about the patience in the reality is that the doctor are the sick one. the nurses will play with my pain medicine after surgery knowing that I have more surgeries to come in the crazy thing is my discharge twice was not good and safe so basically what I'm trying to say is very poor healthIt's sad but turn 😔
Karen Ramirez: do better abby
Jacqueline Wasson: I have been a patient at Mercy in Cassville, Mo., Aurora, Mo., and Carthage, Mo., with no issues. But today we brought my 82 yr old Aunt to the Oral Surgeon in Springfield, Mo., because her Dentist said that she needed to be seen immediately. We saw the Oral surgeon & he said the same thing as the Dentist they suspect cancer in her jaws. We were instructed that we need to take her to Mercy ER in Springfield immediately, I said "Good, I like Mercy. We arrived at 4 pm tonight and now at 11:40 pm she is still waiting to see a Dr.!!! People puking in cups everywhere & waiting in almost Diabetic comas!! I would not bring my dog here! This is terrible.
Ashley Robinson: My daughter was taken to the ER there via ambulance today with severe psychosis. The Dr, nurses, and all staff were beyond caring and compassionate to both my daughter and me. Such an amazing change from any other ER I've ever been to. I know my daughter is in good hands.
