Laura Leclair: We were excited to use a local internet service. Wrong. City Utilities has sold the service to BrightSpeed. The service is horrible and cuts in and out all the time, which causes major issues when you work from home. When you call to try to speak to someone in customer service about billing or other issues you are passed around from place to place since Brightspeed is part of a holding company that owns multiple internet providers like Centurylink. It is nearly impossible to get to the right person. And the cable that they laid in our yard for our service has been lying on top of our yard not buried for months now making it difficult to mow our yard. So much for good local service. We will be switching back to our old provider.
B Jake767: Same as other people. Installer didn’t show, call or anything. Called 3 times to hear them say it’s not in my area, even though my neighbor is connected from a box buried in my yard. Asked for a refund and will be keeping service I have. Maybe I’ll try again when they get there act together.

Even if you call in and you are lucky enough to get someone on the line no information is provided. Can't wait to not have to use them.
crashk6: I've coordinated and recommended the installation of Springnet for several locations. The service is quite reliable, planned maintenance is always notified well in advance. This is not a typical consumer level ISP, this is fiber services built out and deployed directly to your facility for mission critical applications. As such, if you are a residential customer this is not for you. If you are a business with an IT department or a have a network management company on retainer, you won't find a service around with as low a latency and as good an SLA as Springnet. If you're not in an area where build-out of Springnet is viable (no nearby fiber to tap) or your needs arn't quite as "industrial", then Wide Open Networks would be a good second choice if you're within their signal footprint.
Victor Broz: This service is best ONLY for business use. Rental properties are trying to offer it to their residents. It is a huge waste. The service is sub par. It does not get the speeds offered. If you want to connect multiple devices, you WILL need multiple outlets for the ethernet cables or a splitter of some sort. Customer service is sad and inefficient. TLC properties recently took on this “service” for their residents. Many of whom are college students. It’s a train wreck. In conclusion, don’t bother. This company is not ready for anything.
Dakota Davis: I can't blame a bad rep for everything. The rep said I had "no authority" to be calling, because I live in an apartment and only the manager can call. With that being said, she was awful and so rude. On top of everything she did not point me in the right direction of who to talk and didnt give me any information.Since that day, i posted a negative review. I've recieved 3 calls from their company since, trying to resolve my issue listed on the review. I wasnt able to answer the calls Unfortuently, however, the issue seems to be resolved over the past few days and i appreciate this company doing their best to solve my issue after the rep was extremely disrespectful.
Slava Eremenko: Don't know about their service, but price/speed/quality ratio is great. Unfortunately they do send out copyright infringement notices when you download some free copyrighted content using BitTorrent protocol.
Sean Sutton: Terrible service. They don't return phone calls or answer the phone half the time. Don't believe me? Try calling them. They are 90 days out for new installs. That's right...you have to wait 3 months for new services Why would anyone do business with these people? It is ran EXACTLY like city utilities/DMV. They don't care about your business b/c it does not affect their paycheck.

LeeAnn Miller: I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT&T! Zero stars. Salesman came to my door with this really good price for internet. Since I am paying $20 more for Mediacom, I thought I would try it. He told me that my next door neighbor was switching because their Mediacom bill doubled. This was a lie. They did not switch. Since 2-12 (when I hooked up internet from AT&T) It was slow, would not stay connected to my devices. Spent a good four hours trying to get working. I am self employed and work from home. I wasted hours trying to get it working properly and as promised. I am glad I did not return my Mediacom modem yet! Reconnected Mediacom and viola! Works with lightening speed and stays connected to my devices.

Billy Bruce: Matt and his team went above and beyond with communication and service provided. He was timely from start to finish and provided multiple options throughout the process. I would recommend them without any doubt.
Adam Dixon: I have dozens of offices using AT&T, Brightspeed, Mediacom, SuddenLink (or whoever bought them out this week), et al. Dealing with their collective support infrastructures is special cumulative hell--awful in new and interesting ways every week it seems. However, WON communications is always a pleasure to communicate with. They're always responsive, when you need support. They work very hard to make their product reliable keep it reliable, so I don't have to, and that is worth a lot to me.

Jason Gaynor: Business internet service. My location is "blacked out" from getting service from anywhere besides City Utilities Springnet, which carries a 3 year contract. For a small office, it was extreme overkill. I contacted WON and they were recently able to provide service to my location. What a blessing!! Fast speeds, WELL ABOVE the advertised speeds with minimal jitter (ideal for VOIP). Month to month, no contract. So pleased thus far, thank you for the professionalism and skill in your install as well! Great, local people to work with who actually care. Thank you!

My tv is hardwired into the router and it still constantly lags. Called for service and told they can't get someone out until nine an noon tomorrow while I have to go another night without tv. Service is so bad I wouldn't refer them to an ex.

They claim it isn't their hardware, but the only place I have to plug in my routers to is THEIR ethernet port in my wall which is connected to THEIR switch. They refuse to pay for any new routers, and refuse to accept responsibility for THEIR faulty equipment. DO NOT USE!!! YOU GET BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE USING YOUR MOBILE CARRIER'S HOME HOTSPOTS!!!
Robert Lane: I wish my review referred to the service or connection but sadly, their customer service and response is so poor, I'm not sure I would ever give them a chance to become our provider.Net Vision was somehow contracted to provide Fiber to the City of Fremont Hills back in October 2021, what they did was provide a constant headache. During the initial install in Oct, they not only tore up landscaping on several homes backyards, including mine, but they also cut through 4 homes Irrigation lines. Mistakes happen but they knew they cut thru some of the lines and simply ran their Fiber under the irrigation lines ! April comes around and we are back pressure testing our lines and of course our yard begins to flood, the sprinkler heads don't come on and several have been completely crushed by their trenching machines. Contacted Fremont Hills manager who put us home owners in touch with the Net Vision sight supervisor Tyler, nice guy but apparently works for a tool. Tyler and his team said they don't so repairs of such magnitude and suggested to have the line repaired by an Irrigation company and have them submit the bill directly to them or be reimbursed; what a nightmare.Took 6 hours to dig up my back yard and properly replace the 4 different sections completely cut through, not to mention the 5 sprinkler heads that were crushed. Submitted pictures and the invoice as suggested and 3 weeks later, still getting the run around by the Boss "Steve". How sad that it takes a bad review on Google, a formal complaint with the City of Fremont and a BBB review just to get my 412.00 reimbursed, but here we are.Know what to expect with this company when you plan for good service and fair practices, it may not be as simple as it should be.
april kontak: I am a Joplin customer and recently had my first experience with NetVision customer service. Any time i called, i was immediately greeted by an actual person who could quickly access my account. I was treated with kindness and respect throughout the process. Each team member I spoke with was wonderful. The agent who came out (he had to drive an hour each way) was incredibly efficient, knowledgeable, and thoroughly explained his solution. Absolutely fantastic service. Thank you!

Creative Wearhouse: Updated April 26, 2022:At first NetVision was great. The speeds were quick and consistent. However since initially signing up I have had 2 different times where the internet has went down for lengthy periods of time. The first time it took a week .Right now it's been down since the 23rd and they are having to come back tomorrow to work on it again, putting me at 4 days without internet service. I am self employed and work at home. Each time the internet goes down I have to use my mobile hot spot. The work I do causes me to burn through the months maximum data (before being throttled to dial up speeds) in a days time. The last time this happened I was told that someone cut a cable while mowing. Not sure why the fiber cable isn't buried.I could have signed up and had Quantum Fiber installed and running by now. I want to stay with Netvision because they worked hard to provide fiber services to our neighborhood when no else would do it. However if this isn't restored tomorrow, then I'll be signing up with Quantum. I like Netvision and would continue to support their business...but I can not go without internet when it effects my job.

I cannot explain how many different employees I have spoken to and the wildly different stories I’ve heard from each of them about what the problem is, how to fix it, details of appointments, etc. We are approaching 2 weeks with the same problem that should be an easy fix. Appointment 1: no show. Appointment 2: showed, but didn’t know how to fix the issue. Appointment 3: no show. Appointment 4: it’s anyone’s guess. If you have any other options whatsoever, save yourself the aggravation, lost wages from taking off work & not having internet to work from home, literally hours wasted on the phone, and general tomfoolery, and just pick a different provider.Follow up edit:I spoke to the Operations Manager and he seemed to take this seriously. I appreciate the follow up, and hopefully this will not be an issue in the future. While I stand by my review, I think it's fair to mention that the company follows up on issues when you raise it above the customer service level.

I don't know what is up with these negative reviews but if it comes to it the owner will stay up all night with you if there is a serious problem and sometimes if it's not so serious. It is not hard to contact them if you dial the correct number and their prices are solid considering their offerings.
