gerald c: I lived there for a while. Not a good memory. High staff turnover, the social worker was not a nice person. Rather hateful actually. Some of the other workers were really nice. No privacy. Salvation Army people could be overbearing. If I had to do it over again I would stay on the street.
Geoff klinkerfuss: Some of the staff are burned out. Been doing it a long time.
Gary C: The place is great but keep a sharp eye on your belongings as there are many who will steal from you.

The Kitchen, Inc. Emergency Shelter: what do users think?
Jonathan Heisz: Not Open To The People In Need
Ranger Grimm: Didn't help me when I asked for it, even when I was a "rare breed" Springfield has a problem and it's too caught up in self righteousness to actually be effective or help those is need.
Niki Owens: They have love
Brian Pollard: Homeless Now!
Mandy Garmon: I love the work you are doing for our community!! God bless you all
Jen Cates: My buddy stays here wonderful place...
Chris Burch: We do the heating and ac here. A great place to give ppl who fell on hard times a fresh start. Just don't ever let it be 1 person who ruins it for all, let it be all people pulling the 1 person up.
Nature Hills: Families get a safe place to stay while they work towards a better life and living for themselves and their love ones. This facility has a computer room, playground, laundry room, an area for dogs and great size apartments for people to feel safe, respected and loved.

Victory Mission + Ministry: what do users think?
Dr. Richard Baker: VM makes our city better. I highly recommend them.
Johnny White: Sign said they were closed I think they should not be on the internet if they are not going to be open
Martina Spencer: This is a great place for men in recovery trying to get on the right path.
Richard Argo: Two words... BED BUGSThis problem has been going on for several months. Whats worse, is they justify it. Ask Bobby Mitchell, the shelters associate pastor, and he will tell you that it's OK to have bed bugs because they are keeping 100 men off the streets. I have the messages from Bobby proving this. Victory Mission is just like most other programs like this, they are all about the money. They truly don't care about the people they are supposedly helping, as long as all the staff can keep driving their nice cars. It's not a charity, it's a business. They won't fix the bed bug issue because it costs money. They won't spend the money because then it comes out of the staffs pockets. Sad.
Daryl Bookout: Great place to rest and relax
Theresa Johnson: They are loving people right where they are at!💙💜
Sean Higginbotham: This place is fun of spiritual love and guidance .im thankful for the road blocks they have helped me overcome .They are the greatest group of people for all how are ready to change there lifes
Michael Nelson: Every. Life. Has. Purpose!Victory Mission +Ministry has helped me spiritually, economically, and relationally. They believe in restoring lives back to the way God intended by providing a foundation to grow no matter where you are in life. I will forever be grateful to this ministry and am so blessed to now be a part of their team! Thank you Lord for VM!
SouthernMofo: Awesome people and they care
charles wyatt: Nice place and great people
Barbara Weber: Yes me and my wife went there to apply for Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets, they were very courteous and very helpful they delivered us a wonderful Thanksgiving meal everything complete.
John Eddington: Very nice and polite and helped us in every way they could
Christopher O'Neil: Great opportunity for Men who want to change. They instill character qualities in those who want them.
Dianna Munoz: Very helpful staff
Doug Hon: A lot of programs to help
Joy Kiley: I have been dealing with Cancer and the loss of my apt due to a manager that allowed my tired slashed and bullying .I went here for help and found them to be such compassionate people.Thank God for all of them
Dustin Jones: Very friendly and helpfull
Brenda Crites: Friendly people
Tammi Shelton: This place is horrible. Not doing God's work at all. They will take your life. Control you. Kick u out after months and months on a 30 degree day with no place to go. Restoration program is a joke. 12 to 18 mos of ur life but make you start over too many times to count. I'm guessing they make money off it. So someone very likely could be in for years . Awful awful place and program. Stay away
Gabe Hynson: Amazing. God is working here
Jr 69: God bless you

Safe to Sleep: what do users think?
Melissa Helmig: This place has causrd me 4 stress induced seizures yesterday and I was told by Cox South that if I have anymore they will keep getting worse to the point I won't come outbof the next one I have. The staff here treat women that are young and pregnant like trash and they don't care. I'm done with this place they need better staff and less drama.

Victory Shelter for Men: what do users think?
Mark Berg: Bed bugs everywhere, black mold everywhere. Staff nasty. Call themselves Christian bug in fact it's all about money. Racist on top of all that.
stretch bann: You are NOT an emergency shelter, you are a flop house. An emergency shelter does not charge for admission...TO ANYONE. those 30 beds for the night is a joke. I've stayed here twice. Both times I've been stolen from. (I've never been ripped off at a shelter before and I've stayed at a bunch of them, nationwide. ) only come here if you're ready to be extorted. 71 years old and I would sleep next to the tracks rather than come back here .
Martina Spencer: This is an awesome place.
Dennis Swearingen: If you need help, they are the ones who can help you
Jeffrey (turtlesavingclub): Great Place, just treat people the way you want to be treated. Call ahead to check for open beds, be sober when you arrive as you will be breathalyzed and/or UA'd. Don't expect it to be a party. The staff is great and keeps a close eye on the tenants.
Joplinlady Unicorn: There are only 30 free beds available a night. If full then ty you can pay $13 for a bed! Was a last resort I paid $13 for a friend to stay here instead of my house! Yes I sure did! Thank you Victory Shelter
Carl Ward: Roaches, mice and bed bugs !
Douglas Nelson Jr: One thing I do remember is it was bad about interfering with your work and even though you're working you still got chores to do when you get back after killing yourself at a slaveyard
Dark Father Raven King: If you are a Orthodox then I guess it's the best place has men's shelter just make sure you bring your IDs the mission is great
Herve Keptner: I think that they represent the religious philosophy most closely of any place I've ever had to stay
Dan Caldwell: Great place for people to stay when they get their life together
Myron L. “Mr. T” Boyd: Less than 1star Corruption
Chris Payne: Good place to live for homeless fairly clean drug-free and alcohol-free
Michael White: I was not impressed by the service
Daryl Bookout: Great staff. Very helpful. Awesome place for gaining more Christian knowledge and being independent.
Kalen Shrout: Good place to find shelter and stability
Sean Higginbotham: This place has helped me change my life and over come road blocks in my life .they have nice rooms and except homeless men in need of better direction in there life.
Nick Canon: Man these guys are true saints. They are strick but will work for you if you will work for yourself. They saved my life when it was hanging by a thread. Thanks guys love you got bless!!!
Chris Blevins: Thanks for the help guys
Lloyd Price: I'll write them really really high but don't go there if you have health problems because once you do they will steal your money they will take away from you you came to them for help you're not going to get it there they will take your money and make you think you're doing great and then boom when you're not cuz you get sick they will throw you out and steal your money.
Jody Weller: Professional

One Door: what do users think?
Douglas Hon: It saved me. If you are real about changing youre life
theressa feusner: Not very helpful
Tosha Hardesty: Great resources, nice ppl, lots of information, and good help. Not enough workers for case load or funding for the needs of demand of community.
Curtis “FU” Sliffe: Im new in town and homeless. Went in to One Door this morning just to touch base with them as far as what services are available for me. Spoke with 2 different staff members. Both were very professional courteous and knowledgeable. They even helped with more than one thing i didnt know was available for me. Thanks to ppl like them im learning to trust again. Thank you very much One Door. Im truly Grateful and God Bless.
Cynthia Cunningham: We went to talk to Linda about a birth certificate and getting housing.
Donna Addison: I encountered the most phenomenal staff. I spoke with a young gentleman named Riley, he was so professional and compassionate. He really cares, whoever raised him deserves a pat on the back. The world would be a better place if we had more young people like him.
Jeffrey (turtlesavingclub): Nice organization, I bring people up here to get help with clothes, food, and housing.
Mr. Feels: Very nice
Scott: In weather like this check theSchool closings to find out if there open
Pam Kindred: Can't say enough good about this place. Case workers are great but Jeremiah is definitely my favorite. These people really seem to care. If resources are needed for homeless people or low income people this is the go to but get there before they open or you won't get in.
Travis Good: Free showers and laundry
Jessica Sauter: No help whatsoever
Xander Crow: Didn't feel heard. Nice people though.
Lionel Palmer: A good place to go to get help to get you from being homeless and off the streets
Hilary Grayson: Dealing with the administrator of one door well she said she's the administrator trying to help someone get proof of address to get an id so they can get a job she was super rude and had an attitude your supposed to be here to help people not treat them poorly we weren't even asking for financial help and the way she treated us and talked to us like we were stupid is uncalled for if you don't like your job and aren't trying to treat people like they are human beings you need to find a different job you should really be ashamed of yourself and you need to drop your attitude
Vickie Hall: They are awesome they give you all the resources a person could need in life and more. I wouldn't know we I would be without them. I appreciate them so much and want to thank them for everything.
Melinda Aiello: Very helpful in your worst time of need.
Dayshaquon Miller: They are so much help
Tyla Leon: SHANNON and jeramia ,are great and so is hannah!! ,very, very helpful at helping me for sure!!
Ralph: Very unhelpful and dishonest. I've been out here for almost 2 years with no help on housing while they help others. I would recieve more help being locked up in jail at least then I'd have a roof over my head, bed, bathroom and utilities. I'm sure qin another 2 years nothing will change still no help.
David Rutledge (A.k.a Smiley): They are great people and they're trying to help the community by keeping people in their homes that are behind on bills they're great service for the public and I give him five stars thanks Amy, and also thank you too Todd I appreciate your help tremendously I thank God for you guys being here for the public during the covid -19 may God bless you both and all the staff at OneDoor

Veterans Coming Home Center: what do users think?
becky givens: Great Christian organization. Just check hours as they could vary.
Margaret Beltran: I know that this place helps the homeless. But it's filthy. Get the homeless people to help clean up this place. It went down hill. I used this facility back in 2015. It's definitely not the same. This facility really helped me out. And it hurt my heart to see how it is now. Was looking for my daughter she was missing, and I happened to go see if she was there. And no I didn't take any pictures. Have a great day 😀.
Jeffrey (turtlesavingclub): Not representative of the homeless community in the area as a whole.Gross, a human zoo. The staff try their best; though the lack of enforcement of rules, policies, and law, make this a cesspool and representative of the worst aspects of homelessness in this town. Don't get me wrong, it's a place for folks to stay warm on cold days. However there are both safer and more sanitary locations to do so.
Jeffrey Kenkel II: A human zoo, don't come here. The staff is fine, but it's not a safe place to go unless you are on drugs or drunk.... Unless it's freezing and there is nowhere else to go.
Rita Schroeder: They help those with meals, clothes, showers, laundry for all those that one day might need to go, it happens to the best of us and you might just be passing thru
ERIC NICHOLS: Thank you to all the volunteers.
ChrissyRobert Stafford: While churches donate food and serve the homeless food the staff of the veterans coming home center do little to stop the yelling and fighting and thefts that are common daily problems there
Herve Keptner: This place is awesome I take care of other people
Dale Henry: Staff are friendly, and beyond helpful. Meals are basically heaping with food. Can't thank them enough for helping my family. All of you have great outlooks on life.
Cheryl Bonilla: This operation would be a wonderful place for those who are looking for a different place of there direction in life. It needs a little TLC and some love. I would recommend to propose some additional sense of style or or to modernize the atmosphere.
Nathan: No, just no.
horny myke: they continue to have a positive effect on our community
Roxalem Nite: Too crowded usually
Lionel Palmer: A lot of homeless in there
Gershom Solomon: Ehh
Ron Seiter: They do what they can but it's not appreciated by most of people who go there
Justean Willis: Helped me get some clothes for an interview and i got to eat s good meal
Stone Blu: This place there aren't enough words in the English diction about what I couldn't say but I will say I really don't know how they seem to continue to stay open from what I know & have heard there are so many health code violations if the City Health Department was to do an inspection it would surely be shut down , I'm guessing overnight. I heard that because of this crazy guy who's name was Bobby that used to work there accused him of breaking the sink off the wall in the men's restroom who says he never touched it & that it just rusted completely through & fell off the wall this person wasn't even standing near the sink at the time this happened & was barred who was told this was from normal wear & tear of a hundred guys that go in there washing themselves in the sink daily , he just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Thumbs 👎
Travis Good: Serves a purpose
Kimberly McJunkin: I came here to donate things from my parents house so I can only speak about that. Someone recognized right away that I didn't know which entrance to use and directed me to the back. I had a good conversation with two people, who asked for specific items, better suited for outdoor winter living. I told them I would be back with another load!
Angel Sauls: Can not enough good things about the work being done at Veterans Coming Home Center. Please support their work with veterans and others who are experiencing homelessness.

Eden Village Of The Gathering Tree: what do users think?
Yuda hernandez: Solo que me parece un programa tan humano que siento conmovida, Dios Bendiga este sitio y a las personas que forman parte de este proyecto
Margaret Wineinger: I recently had opportunity to visit a family member who now calls Eden Village 2 their home after a rough patch in their life. Eden Village game them opportunity to get back on their feet, which gave them self worth and has propelled them to discover their own strength and perseverance. What a wonderful foundation they provide for people who otherwise may never have gotten the break they needed to be self sufficient. Nice 1 person homes, that are furnished, and decorated very tastefully , even providing some basic essentials to get them started such as linens and toiletries. If someone can finally find a place they can afford to rent they are hard pressed to set it up like a home and they have it set up when you move in. Love love this idea and what it has done to help the homeless.
Milli_cbr.f4i: Great deal!
CisRocks (CisRocks): I know someone who just got accepted here and it sounds like a wonderful idea in a much needed place. So thankful that there are still beautiful humans like the volunteers and contributors that make this possible. Every place with a homeless problem should have a village like this. Thank you to all who make this possible. GOD BLESS
Douglas Hon: Amazing place
Maverick UK: Beautiful project a real gift from God. We need one in every town and village as the rich steal our money through politics and the poor are thrown into the gutter. God Bless them and our brothers and sisters in need all around the globe.
Kole Carter: Great idea for helping
Jody Gentry: We will see...:)
SouthernMofo: Awesome outreach please support them.
Taylor Wise: Great people, great cause
Patrick March: Eden Village has been more than meaningful in our community and in my life personally. Thank you Eden Village.
John Doe: I personally know someone that stayed there. They were taking a nap one day when there was a knock on the door and someone just walked in. They don't allow couples, except for the one couple that lives there because they were grandfathered in. Almost everyone that lives there does some sort of drug. From my understanding the managers don't really care about the drug use as long as you keep it in the compound and don't get the cops called. If you like to be told how to live and who you can have over and when, it's a great place.
Tim H: I have not experienced "Eden Village" in person yet all though Kelbi has been extremely helpful in my endeavour to secure one of these tiny homes. The research I have done leads me to believe "Eden Village I or II" would be a nice comfortable place for someone lime me with the physical and health issues I have.Once I secure one of these I can give a more personal experience for everyone!
Aaron Stroud: Good place
Markus Murray: Because I was once homeless and this was the best thing that has ever happened to me. They take care of their people 🤗✊🏿
linda Swofford: Very nice homesquiet nerighboorhoodRight close t work of types
John Myers: I love the fact that they let you volunteer it’s a great way to contribute
Steel Man: So I volunteered here this week and it was great. I'm so impressed with the value this place gives to Springfield mo.Tiny homes for the displaced and legally challenged working poor. Eden Valley provides qualifying homeless individuals with a new sense of independence and a sliding scale rent. This makes much more sense than any band aid social program I've seen in years. Sustainable and sensible. Eden Village is a terrific model and foreward thinking attempt at a solution to Springfield's homelessness issue.
Julia Taylor: Awesome community!
Ernest Crunkleton: Helping lift up our neighbors in need.
Gilbert Rife: This is a wonderful place they have given homeless people a fresh start and self worth and self-esteem

Rare Breed Youth Services: what do users think?
Bat Man: This facility is not meant for homeless the boss named Kathy is rude and unable to be worked with you try to talk to her and she gets up in your face saying it's not her problem and says "what do you expect me to do about it" this place used to be great for the at risk youth now you barely see any youth in the building because of the way that they are treated it almost feels like facility more than a place of help..... Maybe if they figure out different Management things will work out but till then I am bringing donations or referring anyone to this building
destiny phil: They were helpful, they had everything I needed when I didn't have much.
Jewell Anne: This is one of thee BEST youth services in Missouri! The staff is super kind and helpful too!!!
Ashley Plumb: Don't go there if you are married. I'm 19 and married and we were struggling on food so we went there for dinner and I got in trouble for sitting too close to MY HUSBAND also they only enforce masks entering and leaving the building. It's only for appearances for their sponsers
Terra Matson: I myself had gone to this place 4 help wen I 1st moved here back in 1998. I was 17 & pregnate as well as a long way from home. They were a huge help back then & had teamed up with Galagxy (GLO) youth group & helped me with maternity clothes, diapers, formula, & directed me to a bunch of young mother resources I'd never even thought would exist. I'm so glad they r still around & finally got a bigger space. I would suggest this wonderful place to any youth that's having any issues in life to just go & check em out cuz they r God sent wonderful people. Much love & blessed be.
Steven Kersting: Always there to help
C Cunningham: Amazing shelter and services for youth. Valuable beyond belief.
Kyndl McGehee: I love the things that RBYOC provides to these youth. I have had the privilege to provide the evening meal numerous times. I am blessed by these kids each time!
Toney Deckard: It helps you a lot
Terry Ponder: I am just getting ready to do some volunteer work here, however, I didn't even know RareBreed existed and I thank God for the work they are doing and the opportunity they provide for our young people and for people like myself to be of service.
