I'm not much of a 'salon' girl so I was a little nervous going to such a professional place, but I was immediately greeted and felt so welcome instantly! Breanna Bright: So I called the salon it was a last minute booking but I asked if they knew how to handle my hair because it is on a thicker side I was sarcastically told yes and the topic changed quickly I go to book my appointment and when I show up and we start on the process of my hair I can tell the girl is struggling I ask her if she’s had clients like me but I can tell when a person does not know what they are doing I didn’t want to be rude so I go ahead and pay and leave quickly even though there was a section sticking up in the back so I call the salon to speak with the manager and I say I’m not looking for a refund or going back in just for your staff to know how to do ALL HAIR TYPES I get told if you were to book in advance you would get someone who knows how to do your hair I believe who I talked to her name was Cassie very unprofessional and biased if you have A HAIR SALON YOUR WORKERS SHOULD KNOW HOW TO DO ALL HAIR will never be returning again and hope that no biracial person with a little more difficult hair would ever have to experience this.Service:Hairstyling

I called on July 20, 2022 at 10:56 a.m. (call still in my phone log, wanted to check myself and make sure it wasn't my mistake) and made an appointment today for my daughter so that she could have her hair done before school started. They did not have her on the books and I realize that unintentional mistakes do happen but I prefer businesses who attempt to correct their mistakes rather than make it the customer's problem when they mess up...do not recommend.

Jessica Wicks: You can tell it’s a good place to cut you hair when they are booked out for weeks. This place was definitely worth the wait. Austin did a great job on my hair and took the time to make through all my thick layers. This place was bustling and was recommended to me by several people before I finally pulled the trigger and went in. My cut looks just like the pic I asked for and he even recommended some subtle differences for my hair type to make it look better. The ONLY reason I gave a star was because my hair truly did turn out great for my wedding day and the stylist was fantastic.I initially contacted honey + hive to do hair for my wedding. I had recently moved back from Chicago and this salon came highly recommended. My first experience with their receptionist on the phone was extremely poor. I was trying to get an estimate of pricing (as any bride would do) and she had an extremely negative attitude and was so very rude to me, upon looking past that I had my hair trial where I gave a deposit of almost $300 dollars. From there I requested that the hair stylist come to my venue to do the hair and was instructed I would need to give an extra $600 dollars for a travel fee, after refusing, asking to speak to a manager and asking for my deposit back- we agreed on a $250 travel fee "because I was taking away from the clients the stylist would normally be doing at that time" this quote came from their manager. I was shocked considering myself, and my 6 bridesmaids, and mothers were paying them and we are their clients for the day??!! The worst part of the entire situation was that I had SPECIFICALLY asked at my hair trial when I would need to give the rest of my payment and was instructed that I would receive a phone call...Which I did, the night before my wedding at my rehearsal dinner where they told my planner that "if I did not call before they closed and pay in full that the stylist would not be showing up to my wedding tomorrow" I was completely appalled- how dare you call a bride the night before her wedding and THREATEN to refuse service, when I had already given them a deposit. There was NO communication, they have NO handbook with pricing and procedures. I would not recommend honey + hive to anyone to get their hair done for their wedding day. What incredible talent with horribly ran service. Such a shame.

I had Tabby, Kambree, and now Megan Jessy.And each time was a wonderful experience. I was too scared for a long time to chop my hair off or get away from dying my hair black because it was just low maintenance. Being a mom and living an hour and a half away from this salon, I don’t always get the chance to get my hair done often.But I decided I needed some change and have been talking to Megan Jessy about chopping my hair off and starting the blonde journey from black hair. Today was my first session and my hair came out exactly how I expected if not better! As you should know, going from dark hair to blonde is a PROCESS. It doesn’t happen after one or even two sessions.This was Megan’s first time doing a balayage on me and she was seriously so amazing and personable! I highly recommend her. And her cutting skills? I am the pickiest person when it comes to cut. I come from Nashville, TN where I spent good money on haircuts. And let me tell you, Megan is one of the BEST.I had to upload updated photos because Yelp lacked them. Truly, Honey + Hive is a hidden gem. The problem is with this salon. Can’t reach on number listed. States mailbox full, can’t leave message. Then, called salon got Becky on phone schedules for three weeks out. Then called night before stating she had to cancel for family emergency. Seriously! Sounds like some kind of fraud, or something. How can she get paid for services she is not doing? They need to close this place down, or fire Becky from the salon. Very strange...how many others has this happened to?

The blow dryers and curling irons had tons of hair and hair spray caked on them. Then as I'm watching the lady (becky) do my nails, I saw a BEDBUG crawling on her shirt. My mother in law was even there and was sick to her stomach. I hurried up and finished and left. I will never go back again.

Tried multiple times to contact this person, will not answer and has a full voicemail box so you can't even leave a voicemail. Finally got through and made an appointment, the owner then called and cancelled the appointment and said she would call back to reschedule and never did. My wife and I have both been trying to call and set up an appointment for at least 2 months and now the Groupon has expired. This is probably the worst business I have ever tried to deal with, I don't know how she still has it. I would like some sort of payback for what I paid for this worthless Groupon. Sierra: Blu skies spa is the place to go for your facial needs. I drive from St.Louis to get a facial and chemical peel from Taylor Mach. Her guidance and expertise have completely changed my skin and skincare game. I came today to get a custom facial and chemical peel from Taylor. She offered me a buccal massage as a part of my facial. After explaining to me what the buccal massage does I gave it ago and loved it! Taylor is very knowledgeable and explains every step of the way and benefits. For anyone who is unsure of chemical peels or any other professional esthetician services, you have to go see Taylor she's the best!

Emily Derges: I was a walk in appointment, and it was my first time there. They got me in on a Saturday from a cancellation. I had Diana for root touch, color touch up and cut. I had red violet on my ends which is hard to get right. She killed it!!!!! I love my color and the appointment was fast. Through the whole process she did not pull my hair when brushing or washing or straightening which I really appreciate. Sometimes hair dressers are super rough when brushing out thin hair. She let me talk as much or little as I wanted which was a plus, it gave me time to just relax. I did not have to battle over how much she wanted to cut off of my ends, she let me pick and double checked that I was comfortable with the amount to cut off. Super easy to work with and super sweet. However, I went in for a correction and walked out with essentially the same thing I went in with and down $200 and 3 hours.
