Wheeler Garage: Hands down this has to be one the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I went in to purchase a $9 roll of wire. When I got the bill the total was over $15. I assumed I misread the label on the shelf and paid the bill. When they handed me the receipt there was a $4.99 hazmat charge. I questioned the salesman about the amount and his response was that is their minimum charge. Another women working at the front counter suggested I talk to the branch manager John I believe was his name. Up to this point the service was fine but I wasn't ok with paying over 50% of the cost the supply in a fee. Once the branch manager was off the phone I told him that the amount for the hazmat charge was too much. He proceeded to tell me that every place in town charges that amount. My response was Airgas didn't charge near that much. Theirs was 10% and their customer service is better also. At this point, while at the front counter, he calls Airgas to talk to his buddies to see if they charge a hazmat fee and surprise they do. I reiterated that I wasn't arguing that they charge a fee but I assured him it wasn't near the amount that Praxair did. At this point I asked for a refund and that is the last time I will go to that store. I'm sure others have had a good experiences but when I am treated this way, by a manager no less, I will not spend my money with them and I think others should be advised.

The manager and employees took the time to explain what options were available for my hood and even explained differences between other hoods, brands, and options. One thing I appreciate is the fact that they didn't want to just sell me something and get me on my way but took the time to discuss in detail what is really going to work best for me as a student in school; I appreciate their honesty. I have been to other places in town and have been treated nice but here they go a step beyond and actively listen to help you purchase the best product to match your needs. Hands down this is a great place to shop and will be the place I buy my supplies from here on out. I will recommend AWG to everyone.

I'm not a professional welder and the other guy's in town didn't have any patience with me and well treated me like I was a bother to them. I will likely be looking for a better fit for my needs. Another employee was disparaging about Chinese people.

My husband, son and I had just turned down an aisle and she said excuse me as she pushed in between my son and I making me run into the end cap or something. I told her that was rude and very hatefully she spoke loudly and said “I said excuse me”. My husband said something to her and she was rude to him also. Just because you say excuse me doesn’t give you the right to push in between 2 people to put something on the shelf or whatever she was doing.

oliver hill: went there to get snacks for a movie night and i went to pay and the card reader wasn’t working and the cashier owen was just standing there on his phone as the reader was telling me it wasn’t able to read the card and tried other payment methods and it continued to not work. i would not recommend going there if you want any respect from the employees

Diego Villarreal: It's a Dollar Tree, so everything is a $1.25, but there are better Dollar Trees in Springfield. The selection is okay, mainly you should find some basic necessities here if you need to. However, I would recommend going to a different Dollar Tree.
