Larry Attwood: Well very clean for a pet store, I bought over 100.00 of fish, lost 4 not to bad, however 14 day quantee, I took 4 fishes back, considering how much I spent not asking for anything but to replace the ones that perished, The water sample wasn't good enough, had to be sperate, nothing posted about being separate, But aggravation set in, But instead of getting PO'ed I complied, what it always is they want a water sample to say it's our fault of dirty water, But gladly sell some expensive chemicals that I didn't need. So I just got my money back, I already explained I did a partial change earlier, of course the water hadn't had time to settle. I know exactly how to care for my aquariums considering I have 4, and no big problems. But they do have a nice selection of fish.

Alexis Jones: Do NOT get animals from this pet store. I bought a guinea pig from here a week ago. Upon bringing him home he was a totally normal guinea pig. Then overnight he made a drastic turn for the worse. He wasn’t eating, drinking, or even moving from one spot. Then the next day he started having seizures. So I took him to two different vet hospitals and had to spend $300 just for them to tell me that he is too sick to treat and is going to have to be euthanized.After calling the pet store the associate that helped me on the phone told me they got a shipment of sick guinea pigs and that they were going to try to help me and make this right. Overall they gave me a refund for the guinea pig but that’s all they did. They wouldn’t even give me another, guinea pig to replace the one that died. Which I feel like is the least they could do after me having to spend $300 in vet bills when they gave me a sick Guinea pig. Not to mention all the money I spent buying a Guinea pig start up kit that I cannot reuse to ensure the next Guinea pig doesn’t get sick. The shift supervisor with the red hair was extremely rude to me and the store manager refused to come out and talk to me.

Catherine French: My husband and I have been using this store and location for a few years now and have not had many issues. But we bought a bag of kitten food and ended up not getting to it before our cat got big enough to not need it so we tried to return it and they gave us store credit. Fine, this is where we shop for pet supplies anyway. Today when I tried to use the store credit, the cashier tells me we cant use it even though it says on our account that we have it, because I didn't have a receipt that was given to us when we returned the original food. I didn't have time to drive all over so I paid for the food instead of using credit I absolutely have, and when I got home I found the receipt and no where on the receipt or out of the cashier's mouth when receiving the receipt was it mentioned that there is a policy to have the receipt in order to use store credit. If you have that kind of policy, it needs to be verbalized either when returning items or written on a receipt. We figured that is what an account is there for. Poor communication which leads to frustration and inconvenience.

Though our dog was wearing her rabies tags, they wouldn’t cut her nails till we presented paperwork. That would have required us, the costumer, to go out of our way to provide information that should have already been on file. Why is it that the costumer should be punished for the misdeeds of the business? Where is the accountability?

A. Sch.: My dog was a challenge in several ways so my son bought training classes for us. I am very pleased with the job Blake did and I am amazed at the improvement. He helped me understand my dog and how to work with him so we are all happy. The problem isn't the dog, it's learning how to relate to him. I think Blake did an incredible job and my dog loved him.

This store is in a great location... close to many of the other stores I frequent, plenty of parking, and the clerks are all super friendly and very knowledgeable! Fabulous selection of both dry and canned dog food (cat food, too!) Consider joining Vital Care... I've saved a lot of money by being a member.

Michael Zimmermann: I absolutely hate the fact you need to chase the employees around the store for a half hour before you finally get help and it's been like this every time I go in there for the last two years since I moved here... now that I think about it both stores have these issues and needs to be addressed to someone higher then the managers. Overall the tanks are clean most of the time, decent fish selection for what basic fish they do offer but I find both stores understocked and having to drive almost an hour each way doesn't help when product isn't on the shelves.
