Nadi Daryani: Flame Steakhouse is a romantic haven perfect for special occasions. The ambience sets the stage for an intimate dining experience with its dim lighting and tasteful decor. The staff went above and beyond to surprise me with a sparkling candle for my birthday celebration. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the service was exceptional. Highly recommended for a memorable evening.

Went to the Red Room Lounge downstairs.Sadly, they are no longer doing happy hour but we preferred the privacy downstairs instead of the main dining room.Bartender Jeff was exceptional. I tipped him 23% ($25 on $110) and he was worth every penny.I had the 16 ounce tenderloin and my wife had the chicken. I considered the ahi tuna but Jeff recommended the steak. I also had the jalapeno cheese mashed potatoes and they were great.They comped us a fancy dessert.

Nikko Skaggs: I recently visited the Flame and it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The menu offered a wide variety of steaks, all of which were cooked to perfection and incredibly juicy and flavorful. The sides were equally delicious, and the wine selection was impressive. The desserts were also amazing, and the portions were generous. Overall, I had an amazing time and would highly recommend this steakhouse to anyone looking for a delicious and memorable dining experience.

Michelle Kroth: This was our first time at Flame. We went with another couple with reservations. We were seated downstairs in what I would call the red room. It was very cool and cozy. A dark room with old pictures. Not loud compared to upstairs, which was a lot brighter as well.The reason for the 4 stars was that the appetizers are not for everyone. My husband is a picky eater and not a fan of anything seafood. So, a variety (that included some basics) would have been nice. He just didn't eat any of the apps ordered.They did serve warm cranberry muffins with chocolate. I'm not a fan, and they should have left the chocolate out. Nobody at the table cared for them.The rest of the meal was fantastic! Steak and Jalapeno mashed potatoes. If you are expecting a salad to be included, you will be disappointed. Most 5 star restaurants don't include them, and this is no exception.All in all, it was a fun experience. I would not go out of my way to go back, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try it.

Skyler Zumwalt: My partner and I came here for our anniversary. We were excited as we had never gone somewhere quite this fancy. We were extremely disappointed. He made reservations and we were sat in the red room. 2 gentlemen came in about 5-10 minutes after us and were served before us. 15 minutes after the two gentlemen were served we were still waiting. Couldn’t get a water refill for the life of me and it was very difficult to get the waitresses attention so that we could leave. We were in the restaurant about 30-40 minutes longer than we would’ve liked to be. Tried speaking to a different waitress and was ignored. Our waitress seemed to be serving everyone in the room except for us. The food was very delicious but the service was disappointing . Ordered cream corn and never received it. You would expect so much more from a restaurant that is considered to be fine dining.

My fillet mignon was cooked perfectly on the inside but kind of burnt on all but one side. Had to cut outer layer from meat before eating it. Escargot was tender and good. Wife didn't care for all the beard surrounding the escargot though. The Ribeye was very grossly, cooked good on inside and kind of burnt on the outside. Now the ribeye was asked to be cooked medium and fillet mignon was asked to be cooked medium towards medium rare lobster tail was cooked to perfection and so we're our to potato sides. So was our two meals worth the total bill of 250.00? Sorry but not close

Paige Varney: My husband and I were trying to treat his mom while she was visiting from out of state. We’ve been to Jimm’s for special occasions, but only a handful of times; we do enjoy it. We chose a weekday to go have dinner and there was already a waitlist, so we made a reservation for 45 minutes out. When we came back, there was a line of people and we waited patiently until we could claim our table. It was crowded and so to save space, my mother-in-law and I waited at the front door and my husband stood in line.He overheard a trio of people tell the host that they wanted a table for three and immediately sat them. When my husband got to the host, he was told it would be an additional 30 minutes. My husband countered the host by asking about the table of three that had just been sat and how we had a reservation for this exact time. When asked about our crossed out name on the list, they said they didn’t know what happened (there were three people at the host stand and one of them appeared to be a manager, which is the one that responded).We felt judged for what we were wearing and what we looked like. They weren’t apologetic and came off sour about the whole thing. Like I said earlier, we had been to Jimm’s before for special occasions, so we knew what to expect. We did not, however, expect this kind of experience.For every good review, there’s at least 10 bad ones. I’ve never had an issue with Jimm’s in the past and I do have to say that they have a great salad bar and steak. However, I’m super disappointed and put off by this encounter and will not be returning. If you want to eat there, you better look your best.

Visited with my wife and we both got the salad bar, and we both got a burger with fries. The salad bar was great, minus the brown lettuce all in the lettuce bowl. Our burgers on the other hand were not good. We both ordered medium-well burgers. They came out over cooked and dry. We had to use ketchup to make it palatable. The fries were undercook, limp, and had no crunch, we didn't finish the fries. Our waitress did a fine job, but never asked us how our meal was to give it critique. The atmosphere wasn't that great. It was really dark and hard to see. We saw a man literally calling out for his party's because he couldn't see them, even know they were 4 tables away. Overall a 3 star experience. We will give them another try in the future.

Justin Hedges: Where to start. All of our steaks? Way over-cooked. The ribs? Still had the freaking membrane on them (and very dry). The sweet tea? Barely sweet. The “premium side” of grilled corn that cost extra? An inedible couple of previously frozen half corn cobs you buy from Walmart. Waitress was nice, but that couldn’t make up for the absolute travesty that the food quality/prep was.
Ashley Crittenden: I am an avid Colton's fan. Anytime I have a rough day I make a togo order of "stress bread" and it has never failed to perk up my spirits. When I've dined in Marissa has been the bee's knee's. Colton's has been my rock the last few years.

Elise Rouleau-Rivera: WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! DO NOT GO. Not only was the service rude and inattentive but we waited at least an hour and all of our food was cold. She was disrespectful and didn’t even get us our drinks for 30 min while sitting talking to co workers. I am usually not the type to judge but we went there for my birthday and it turned out to be horrible.
Bryan Thompson: Cloe was very put out that she had to serve. She was unfriendly and had to be addressed if there was any needs. Even after sending out my steak and shrimp, never once did she asked how everything was even though she had forgotten to bring the bread. I saw that she treated the others that were near me the same way so I didn't take it personal. It just made me cringe feeling like I needed to leave a 15% tip because that's the right thing to do, otherwise I would have left nothing for her. Absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced

Morg’s Nerd Station: It was my wife and I'm 7 year anniversary. We didn't say anything to the staff but I was pleased with the service. Our waitress was attentive and checked on us often enough that we had what we wanted. The food was incredible! We had a loaded blossom, and I ordered a steak. I have not eaten that much in years, and the steak, I like mine medium-well, a difficult rareness that is harder to keep tender, came out perfect, and was very tasty.

Sarah Rader: The Food was not good at all. For what you pay you should get something good. The steak was not cooked right. The shrimp tasted like it had been around a long while. The ribs tasted old and were simply sub par. I was truly disappointed in the food as it has normally been good. It was amazing the food was delectable and the service was out of this world. Sadly the only thing that has stayed the same was the service! The food has seriously suffered, it lacks consistent quality! Depending on which night or day you come, the drinks may be weak or strong, and the food might be decent or bad. As I said the consistency is absolutely terrible. My honest opinion is that nothing on the fire menu is worth the cost. Stick to the spark and the flare, also don't order cocktails wine or beer is your best bet!Please train your cooks ( 10 years ago I would have said chefs ) better I have faith that you can turn your food around.

Ameto Galu: Took my wife on the date yesterday, our first time there and it was amazing. Made a reservation and we got there early and got seated right away. Cocktails were amazing, started with the fried calamari, the garlic sweet tai sauce that comes with it was very delicious. I had the ribeye very tasteful, my wife had I think the tequila chicken, very spicy but she loves it. Our server, I think her name was JoLana, she said everyone calls her Jo. She did an awesome job, very attentive and patient. We had a great time, highly recommended to anyone, definitely going back soon. Thanks for the experience.
Kristy Winter: We went there for dinner Saturday night. The hostess and our waitress were pleasant. I had the Tequila Lime Chicken Pasta and my significant other had the Flat Iron Steak. Both meals were barely luke warm. The "thin cut" chicken was tough and his potatoes were still crunchy. We told the waitress about the potatoes and the kitchen sent out a bowl of luke warm, plain, mashed potatoes. We won't be back.

Heather Leverich: I was annoyed that my husband made a reservation for my birthday dinner but they gave us a tiny table when plenty of booths were available. We asked to move though, and they quickly accomodated.Our server was very friendly and attentive and helpful.I absolutely loved the tuna tenderloin and wok veggies and they let me have double veggies with no rice with no upcharge. The seasonings on the veggies was amazing and the texture was perfectly tender crisp. I added a couple of $7 large scallops to my meal and wouldn't do that again because the scallops were good, but a bit underwhelming for the price.The Mac n cheese appetizer with burnt ends was scrumptious. The ceviche was pretty good. I'd order something else next time, but I'd definitely be willing to eat the ceviche again. I liked the scallops.I'm not a burger person but my husband's burger and fries were some of the best I ever tried. Probably the best burger and fries in Springfield. The sweet oniony sauces was so tasty.We tried the orange marmalade butter cake for dessert. The cake was really good. The marmalade tasted like it was from a Smuckers jar. The server was so nice to warm up the cake and didn't charge us for my birthday 🎈The drinks were pretty good.The pool view is fun. But a lot of the bar has a really casual sports bar vibe.
