corrie dinkins: I came here for a massage I opted for a 40min full body massage during which I couldn't relax and enjoy the massage they force you to use their extra chinese medicine for the massage and after the massage they charge an extra $10 they Use cheap things to charge high fees. Don't be fooled. The masseurs here are very informal. During the massage, the old masseuse touched my private parts twice with his arm. I'm very uncomfortable. Don't come None of them have a Missouri massage license here, highly recommend government law enforcement to visit here
Bluekingdom Frenchies: Seriously the best massage ever, their prices are very reasonable. They even did extra. I will be coming back there on a regular basis. They are so friendly and kind, I feel amazing and relaxed after even a short session. They did more than my normal massage therapist, I'm switching.
Jason ford: Will never use this place again. Rip off artist. I purchased a gift voucher that I ended up losing. Went back to them to ask them to void it so it could not be used. And ask for them to issue a new one. When they would not do that I then asked for a refund which they refused. Keep in mind this all happened in a span of 10 minutes as i walked around the mall.they keep copies of the vouchers so they easily could have handled my request to void old one and issue new they did not. I will never use this place for anything. Businesses like this do not deserve to be in business. Complaint filed and hopefully they are held accountable

The massage I received last week here at Brightness Massage is the real deal. I was on the table only 5 minutes when I looked at one of the guys and said your massage is great. I would recommend to anyone who has a sore stiff body.

Colton Lightner: Yesterday, as I was leaving the mall, I walked past a massage parlor inside the mall. I love massages, so I decided to go in and get one. It was very different than any other massage I had. Instead of being in a private massage room, I shared a room with other people getting massages. Once the massage started, I had TWO people massaging me at the same time. One person on my back and the other person on my legs. They asked me “do you want medium pressure or hard?” I said ”medium.” For an entire hour, they absolutely man-handled me!! It was totally nutso! My legs ended up in places I didn’t think were possible (over my head, to the sides of my body). The entire time, I was being snapped like a potato chip. It was cray cray! Cannot imagine what would have happened if I said “hard.” Everyone should try it!!!!!!!

They asked my husband if he wanted his feet rubbed while getting a full body of he said yes then another guy came over during my husband's 1 hour massage to rub his feet. When we left they charged us an extra 22$ for the second guy rubbing my husband's feet. Then tried to say it was for an additional 20 minute foot massage but the guy rubbed his feet in the same hour we already paid for. Scammed us and then didn't even notice til after I tipped. Do not go here. They will overcharge you and then act like they can't communicate. .

One of the primary concerns we encountered was the disrespectful behavior displayed by the therapist. Instead of creating a welcoming environment, the therapist seemed dismissive and disinterested in our presence.Adding to our disappointment, the session was extremely uncomfortable. We did not receive the necessary information about what kind of person would be doing the massage. The therapist also didn’t focus on massaging the area where was needed most, but spent about 5 minutes on it. To add to the overall disappointment, we asked for a 90 minute massage but we only received a 60 minute massage. We paid for the 90 minute and got a 60 minute.We will not be returning to Uplift Massage in the future nor do we recommend it to anyone.

Although we paid $100 for 60 minutes we got only 45... the emails said nothing about arriving early for paperwork so when we arrived we had to fill out paperwork and by the time the massage started it was only 45 minutes. We paid $25 to fill out our own paperwork... all my experiences from differents spas is that you pay for an hour and your get an hour active massage. Just beware they do make you pay for paperwork.... so write fast if you decide to go..

It took a couple of appointments and I will be honest, it was painful for the first few. But she worked on me until I was freed from the pain. Now I go once a month, and fall asleep on the table! Great location. Great ambience. Great job, Brittany. My mother in law saw the change in me. She is booking an appointment for her sciatica pain.

Joshua Szanto: This is 'relax' magic in a way you've never known! Be prepared to hold your breath through several sequences enduring pain and pokey jabs from fingers and elbows and fingernails that need trimming and smoothing. I suspect the one doing the massage doesn't know how to do massage with a fine touch (the right pressures), but they had the whole sequence down in memory. In the beginning he seemed to rush but towards the end he relaxed a bit (and the experience improved but still left much to be desired). Polite person, but did express surprise when I didn't put down a tip for the 30-minute $35 massage. The lobby seems to have had the most financial focus compared to what's behind the double doors. With a number of changes in the physical therapy itself and a desire with intentful focus to improve and acquire professional training along with licensing, this place -could- do well. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend anyone to come here, but I wish them well and hope Relax Magic would consider the recommendations for improvement.

Patricia Wise: Original Review: To start I called and made an appt for the $34. 1 hour they have posted in the front window. When I arrived, I’m guessing he is the manager since he was telling others what to do. I haven’t a clue where he might have gotten certified as a massage therapist. There wasn’t any rhythm or pattern to his method, there was constant break of contact. He would start on a shoulder then go to the opposite leg, all over, just no sequence. No gentle starting in an area just extremely harsh. Even right on the spine which I know they don’t do. I hurt worse today than I did before going there. Then it came time to pay. Well I was charged $39. Instead of $34. Then I put a tip. I won’t be returning to that place even with a free gift certificate.Updated on 03/08/2019: It’s been 4 days since I went to an appt (3/05/2019) at Massage Envy in Springfield, and the male manager did my service. I’m still in pain. He injured my neck, it hurts on a scale of 7 every time I move it. He pressed very very hard down on my spine across the area where I had surgery in 2012. Then over the area I have a pacemaker. I thought for sure he could feel it, since it is noticeable but I guess he just didn’t pay any attention to it. I’m 73, I don’t need these pains. My legs and hip hurt from where he squeezed/pressed too hard, and my feet he just pressed in with fingers not with fist or palm of his hand. The pain was noticeable to him because I verbally and physically acknowledged pain at the time. He didn’t ease up. The only thing this visit was good for is if you wanted to be punished for being alive. I’d like to know how to go about making an official complaint against him and his lic.
Ann Huey: This was my 3rd visit here! First two were ok, decent for the price I thought! Yesterday was horrible from beginning to end! Waited for someone to come start my massage ! While waiting, another walk in came in, placed next to me in another chair! Lady comes out, starts his massage ! Some man is frantically running around that worked there, could tell he was aggravated ! I finally sat up and asked what the heck, the masseuse said something I could not understand, and this man comes and pats my leg and says don’t worry, you still have 45 minutes left! ??? He proceeded to be my masseuse , I never got my 20 minutes on my neck and shoulders, then got my toes popped and pulled on!! He obviously was upset and my paid for massage was ruined!! He even kept the extra money on my gift certificate, when I asked, was told that was tip money!!! No more recommendations from me! Poor Service to say the least ! Left more tense than when I arrived
Amelia Cardona: I called on a Saturday. A guys answers the phone "hello." I had to confirm that I called the right place. $50 for 1 hour, which is reasonable.I asked about making an appointment. He says they only take walk ins, which I have never heard of.Based on my phone call, this place does not seem professional. I did not end up getting a massage here.
Stephanie Taylor: This was not a relaxing massage nor a welcoming environment. The massage technician uttered 3 phrases my entire time there...shoes off, turn over, finished. When I entered with my gift certificate, he did not greet me; there was not even a hello. He simply took my certificate and motioned me to the back room. The massage was very rough and even painful at times. I don't consider having my fingers and toes pulled on until they pop a relaxing experience. The tech rubbed his arms so hard down and across my back that it is now sore and feels bruised. And, I am someone who doesn't mind a deep pressure massage. I would not recommend this place of business to anyone.
Kate Fausset: Love this place!!! The staff is fantastic and the massage area is very relaxing. I recommend their table massage even when there isn't a special.
KAT MEETS KALE: The $35 special was suppose to be 20 min each neck/shoulders, back and feet. He did probably 45 on my feet and then 15 total on my neck/shoulders and back combined (that’s being generous) which I really needed because I had a migraine and that’s the only reason I went in. He didn’t do deep tissue at all, which I asked him for right at first. He also asked me during the foot massage if I wanted my feet to soak in something, well... apparently it was “medicine” and it cost $4, which he failed to tell me until I went to pay. I told them they didn’t tell me it cost... they said, “No English”. So had to pay.
Gayle Browning: My first visit was a wonderful experience. If you have chronic back pain this is the place to go.

Chris Larsen: Pretty decent massage for the money. Little to no wait each time I've been.
