Tiffany Adkerson: IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE 5 STARS I WOULD. We had 5 star fencing come out and install our fence. While speaking with them when they gave us the quote, we asked what would happen if they were to hit a pipe. The owner told us we would be covered because they have insurance to cover that. We had seen horror stories online about fencing hitting pipe so we wanted to make sure. Well, about 2 weeks after the fencing was installed our pipes started backing up. We spent close to $1,000 on plumbers and finally had to have a camera put into our pipe. Come to find out the post they installed was directly in the middle of our drainage pipe. We contacted them several times and it took a good 2 months to finally get in touch with the owner. Nobody would transfer us to him and he would not even return our call. We threatened to get a lawyer before he finally called us back. He told us he would move the post, but we would have to PAY HIM EVEN MORE to do that. The repair itself was going to cost a couple grand, and to top it off he said they did not cover this sort of thing, after we specifically asked him. They were rude and did not care that they had hit our pipe line. We will never recommend them to anyone and we have told all people looking to install a fence that this company has shotty work, and they are just plain rude. Several areas in our fence also have holes big enough that our dog gets out. We called dig rite after we found out, and they said someone had already reported a busted line the day after our fence was put up. We did not even know about it then, so we were even more skeptical of this company. One of the worst experiences with a company that I have ever had.

Autumn Albert: We selected Anchor Fence as our pool fence contractor in 2021. After receiving multiple bids, they were fairly priced and we had the highest confidence level in their product and installation. The materials were back ordered for an extended period of time due to COVID, but once they were received, the fence was installed within a couple of weeks. Mike was our sales person. He was professional, accommodating of our schedules, and followed through with pricing and drawings in a timely manner. The installation was perfect. The installer was professional and meticulous. The fence looks great, and he cleaned up everything very well. We are very pleased with this company and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good experience.

This tells me a lot about the way they conduct business because they had never met me before and could have easily blown me off. They cashed my 1/2 down payment check immediately and said they would install in 10 weeks then finally completed project after 5 month wait. They never once initiated a call to me to update me. I called them 4 times after 3 month wait to ask about timeline. Salesperson was evasive and office manager was rude. When I requested the courtesy of a call after a no show, office manager stated that since salesperson has 150 clients, he can’t be expected to call me to tell me they won’t be there at arranged install time. Matthew Stublefield: Jacob and his team did a great job on our fence. He was extremely communicative via text and came out an extra time before the work started to help us figure out how to address an odd section with one of our neighbors.I did have to check in regularly with the guys doing the work and stay engaged during the project. There were a couple of decisions they made that I didn't like and I wish they had discussed them with me first. Since I checked in each day, though, it all worked out and they made the couple of changes I wanted.And that's why I give them 5 stars and not 4. I would have preferred that the work was just good without me having to be engaged, but they not only made sure it was right, they went above and beyond. One of the gates wouldn't be able to open right because the ground was too high, and they shaved that off nicely. And they pulled up another section of fence in our front yard that we wanted to get rid of too.Overall, I'm very pleased, especially with the price compared to other bids I got.

Jaimee McGuire: We had a salesman come to our house for an estimate. Three weeks later, still no estimate. I spoke to the salesman a week after he was here, and he promised an estimate the following week. When I called the office to speak to a manger about this, I was told I would only be able to speak to the salesman and there would not be a manager available. No offer to have someone else contact me - just an “okay” when I said it didn’t make much sense to voice a complaint to the person I am complaining about. I guess they are busy enough that new customers aren’t needed.

I called and asked them to repair as they said they would if there were any issues. They want to charge me $300.00 for each of the 4x4s to fix. I already paid for their shoddy service and now they want to charge me again.They are now not responding to any of my calls to correct this.Would not recommend this company for their bad business dealings, unprofessional work quality and business approach.Jut fix the issue and all would be good. Claudia MM: I’m writing this review now that the fence is done. Words to describe this company: disappointing, stressful, unprofessional. We had been planning to build this new fence for a while and had been saving for it. We were happy thinking about how nice the house would look and how we pictured the fence. My mom was crying last night thinking about nothing had turned out how she thought. The men built the fence how they wanted without asking first. They told us about the changes after they had already began building. When we called the office to ask questions (twice) they told us we had an attitude. When a customer calls with questions without calling you names, insulting you in any way, or yelling at you…they’re just frustrated with the service you are providing they’re not giving you attitude. Besides we did pay thousands of dollars so we should be able to get answers to questions. The project was rescheduled several times and then they would call at the last minute saying the crew wasn’t coming on a certain day or would come later but then not show up. We were angry at first now we’re just sad. We dis think of changing companies at first but we didn’t because we never thought it turned out this way. We hope you have a better experience I’d you decide to use this company. We were having problems with things being stolen out of our back yard and when my turf tired dump cart walked off in the middle of the night that was it. I called Built Right. Patrick Flynn: Had a bit of a rocky start on the fence installation due to extreme heat conditions which pushed us back about a week after they removed the fence, but the owner was super apologetic and made a great effort to ensure we were happy. Story time. As they were planting fence posts, their digger struck an underground internet line. The line had not been marked for some reason when USIC came out to mark utilities, so it was not the fence builders' fault. Anyway, AT&T was quick to come out and dig a trench across the yard to fix their line. In the process of digging their trench, the digging company cut the main mediacom internet line so they decide to leave the trench open to allow mediacom to fix their stuff. The problem here is that now the fence guys can't finish their fence, and mediacom is slow as a snail, so first the heat pushed them back, then this trench. John wanted to make sure we were taken care of so he and his guys went above and beyond by installing some temporary chain link on the posts so that my neighbors and I could all let our dogs out to run around off their leash. Mediacom finally fixes their stuff a week later, AT&T gets the diggers to backfill the trench on Friday (meanwhile they cut the internet line for my house, because why not) and John and his guys were out there the very next Monday and finished up the fence.The fence is very solid, the gates are way more sturdy than I was expecting. My only complaint is that there was some lack of communication when their guys didn't come back the first day after the fence removal, but they more than made up for it in how they took care of us after.Service:Wood fence installation

Paul Spangenberg: Very friendly, but unprofessional. I was told it would be 3 weeks until install, that turned into 9 weeks. We did not have 6 weeks of rain. I had to start all communications and they only actually started working on the fence after I started getting aggravated. They broke one of my trees and left wood pieces buried in some un mowed grass. When I called John (the owner) and complained about these things, he told me that it was my fault and asking the workers to clean up after themselves no the way it goes.
